Okay, this was getting ridiculous fast. And she was looking ridiculous.
She would try a bit more and then give up on looking cool and such in front of this gorgeous reaper.
"Come on!" she snarled, rustling a bit, "You're supposed to perch on me damn it! So perch!"
To her astounded surprise...
The damn bird actually perched on one of her branches as if nothing had happened.

"Oooookay!" She said, in surprise and no small amount of annoyance.
She gently tried to put the birdy back in the cage that seemed to suit it.
"Go on, gooooo on..."

The bird seemed quite comfortable to just stay and nestle on her finger. She gave it a glare before melting at its cuteness.
It was just so cute!
Daaaaw!
She gently stroked its little feathery head.
she turned to Sparrow and smiled. Look! she was so caring! She had to show off her femininity! Boils love Femininity!
Even though she had nearly wanted to throttle the bird before...

Catching time... Manyara crouched on the ground, looking toothsomely up at the birds. She couldn't eat these, but she could at least grab one and put it in its cage. This was a good task for her, at least. A gorgeous phoenix wheeled overhead... oh yes. She would catch it.
She made a grab for it, and was confused when she came down with no bird between her hands. What?!

Grunting, Manyara positioned herself and tried again. This time, she felt flapping wings against her hands, and quickly - carefully - tucked the bird under one arm. Success!
... Right, now to stick it in the cage.

Stubborn, Manyara tried to force it, but the bird just would not go through the door. At all. Period. And if she tried any harder she might hurt it...

Finally, Manyara stepped to the side and opened the door of the remaining cage. To her relief, the bird stepped right on in, and she closed the door with a clang.

Kemnebi headed back to Sparrow's booth and watched as his birds started escaping their cages again. This time, Nebi went after the Blue Jay since the Pheonix had been so easy to catch. Maybe this bird would give her more of a challenge?
It already was. Kemnebi jumped and missed the bird entirely. Twisting, she landed and tried to relocate it.

The bird was currently sitting on top of the booth. Being way too short, Nebi couldn't reach and the booth didn't look steady enough for her to climb it. Instead, the cat-ghoul bumped the booth, making the bird flutter off of it again.
