Just started updating the draft! Please take a look at my journal and leave a comment there if you spot a typo or something of that sort! It makes editing changes much easier for me if everyone's suggestions are located in one area. 3nodding Thanks!

Leave us alone, we don't care if we're poor. We don't need to fight, don't need to die! Leave us out, just get out! Oh wait, not that kind of draft. wink Writer Education seems like a good thing. Just sometimes I fear it is best taught in conjunction with a baseball bat. And I can only work in so many Monty Python Parodies.

Someone, with the power to delete posts, please delete my writer's aide thred all together. Whilst I was at work today, I was struck by the muse of intellegence (a creature who had obviously abondoned me while I was creating this thred originaly). I have a much better idea for it's organization.
Serieve - Thank you for the idea. I will make my first lesson on the topic of cliche's.
Ailce - I will make it a sticky that I will constantly upate. You may use whichever lesson or collection of lessons you like per issue. We can also place a link to the sticky in the issue, encouraging readers to use it to find the answers to their writting, revising/editing, publishing, term definitions, and grammar questions.
I plan on making this a fairly inpressive sticky, as I have already started research and have over 25 lessons already planned.
I hope you all like it.
~Gypsy

Oh! I just remembered. Seeing as we have a Contest topic, and a Submission topic, and all those entries, we should tell them that we may use some of their pieces in other issues. Because we all know that all those good ones plus whatever else we've had/scouted, are NOT going to fit in just one issue. domokun

As I've suggested elsewhere, lost under the myriads of posts, that we keep them on file in the event we have a lax in submissions/scouted stories in the future.

I think a Q & A thred would be an awsome idea. My only concern is that it would get too messy. People like the easy way out and will ask their question before the they read through the thread to find if their question as already been asked and answered. I fear we will have a lot of repeate questions.

So I take it she's fufilling the role of Ann Landers of the Press?
Though, at my request, I would like to see anything you have on flow and incorporating description as those are really my biggest two problems at the moment.
