Nikolai pulled away from her and put his finger to his lips, giving her a small wink. "until your comfortable with it being known, my lips are sealed" he said with a smile. "though I hope you don't mind moving so fast. I usually try to take my time and be a bit more proper with this kind of thing...." he said placing his hand under her chin. "...sometimes when you see something truly wonderful you have to reach out for it as quickly as you can before it gets swept away from you" he said slowly leaning in to kiss her. Unfortunately before he could reach her lips Kairi chimed in, and Nikolai quickly broke away from her, his wits finally coming back to him. "ofcourse not, stay safe" he said to her as she walked away. "well so much for keeping it a secret" he thought, feeling like an idiot. He had let himself get carried away in the moment, and probably ended up screwing things up big time. He looked back at Nina and chuckled nervously. "You don't suppose she expected anything do you?" he asked, a blush coming to his face.
"but when done righteously it is a chore, just like any other"

Nina blushed at his reaction, and once Kairi was gone, she giggled with her hands on her hips."Well, since it's Kairi we're talking about... no I don't think she suspected anything serious." She stopped and looked to Kairi, who was rounding the corner and was out of sight quickly. "But if it's me we're talking about... I didn't expect that." she said, looking back at Nikolai. She didn't want him to think she didn't like it, which she probably would have. She had never kissed anyone before, she had died young and... well, pure. "But listen," she said, looking back at Nikolai, "I'd like to slow things down as much as you, but I think that stage has past."  Time together is just never quite enough... The expressionless girl peered into the plastic grocery bags that she was holding to see if she was missing any ingredients to make her dinner with for the night. In order to make the Japanese traditional miso soup, the girl needed a lot of seafood and vegetables. It seemed that the said materials were all there, but when she looked straight ahead, there was a candy shop smiling down at her. She couldn't resist the temptation of buying something sweet, so she strayed from her destination of heading home and instead wandered inside the chocolate and strawberry aromatic-filled store.
Coming back out of the candy shop, the girl munched on a peanut truffle covered in dark chocolate and looked at the time on her wristwatch. It read exactly 8:45 p.m. and that meant she had to get home quick before her curfew of 8:55 would pass. Now at a light jog, the black-haired girl looked both ways before crossing the street and jumped over a neighbor's fence. By the time she got home after running through various people's backyards, it was 8:54 and she opened her house's front door right at 8:55 on the dot. The maids and butlers all came to welcome her and took the grocery bags from her in order to start making dinner. One could see why her curfew as a teen was so early, and it was because the ones caring for her would often worry too much even though she was a good child. Nonetheless, the female agreed to uphold this curfew rule. Now she went upstairs to change into a nightgown after taking a lukewarm shower to wash off all the excitement that happened that day. when we're apart what ever are you thinking of?

Time together is just never quite enough... Sora returned back downstairs and walked towards the dining room where dinner would be served. As she sat down in her designated seat at the large table, the other two across from her were empty as usual. Her parents never had the time to eat meals with their daughter, but she had gotten used to it ever since she was a little girl. It didn't matter though, only because she knew that they loved her. Working all the time was their way of saying 'we can get you anything you want, Sora'. And she was grateful, really. But if they did have time to spend with her, especially having family meals would make her even happier.
When the maids and butlers brought a variety of food to the table, the girl only searched for the one she bought the ingredients for that evening: miso soup. And there it sat, right in the middle of the table. The servants saw this and one of them took it and placed it in front of her so she could properly eat it. But the female only stared at it for a couple of seconds to take in the delicious scent of vegetables and seafood all mixed together before she actually started to take small spoonfuls of it.
After her meal was done, Sora excused herself and allowed her servants to clean up after her. She didn't make a mess anyway, so they simply took the only food she ate, the miso soup, in the now empty bowl, to clean in the kitchen. But since she ate, this meant that the maids and butlers could too, and they soon began to feast on the majority of everything else laid out on the dining room table.
Traveling back to her room, the female climbed into bed. She took notice of her little black kitten curled up next to her and scooted closer to the wall so she wouldn't accidentally push it off the bed. Then she drifted off into a state of slumber after allowing the sounds of the cars vrooming past and people chatting outside rock her to sleep. when we're apart what ever are you thinking of? Nikolai chuckled again and scratched the back of his head when she said Kairi wouldn't suspect anything. "If you say so. Though I suppose she wouldn't rat out her friends anyways" however when she mentioned that she herself hadn't expected his attempt to kiss her he froze, blushing beat red. Part of him hoped the moment would have just passed over without a second thought, though it was clear he wasn't going to be so lucky. hehe...sorry about that. I guess I can get a bit carried away at times. he said with an embarrassed smile. However when she took his hand again her relaxed and took his place by her side. "perhaps it has, but allow me to pretend to be a gentleman for tonight at least and walk you home" he said guiding her back to her apartment building. When they reached the front door he stopped her and motioned to the building. "well my sweet. It seems this is where we must part ways unfortunately" he said. He then bowed and kissed the back of her hand, adding a little over exaggerated "gentlemanly flair" to try to get a laugh out of her. "until next time" he whispered tenderly, a tad reluctant to let go over her hand.

She decided to do something, something... bold. For her anyways. She stepped in closer and leaned in, planting a small, delicate kiss on his cheek. She stepped back and opened her door, locking gazes with the man that had made her night so magical.
