Oh... Kouki said, doubtfully, trying to tug Madison's attention over to Aria's 'puzzle'. What is it? We want to know.Shh. Maybe later. Madison patted at one sword-hilt, then turned to Gale. "What do you think? The computers worth saving? If we can find them," she added, sourly, looking at the absolute disaster the room had become.

The two intermediate trainees were able to lift the object between them with little to no trouble. There was something about the weight and the feel of the object between that was familiar. When a severed hand dropped, it was met with little to no surprise.
Interestingly enough, a piece of paper fluttered free and landed face-down on the ground. Thankfully it landed on a piece of blood-free ground.

Hosting the thing with Robert, Candace was surprised by how easily they were able to lift it. "Okay now let's just--"

"..Delightful." Candace stared at the hand on the floor.
There's a ******** hand on the floor.
This hand had no owner attached to it.
They were carrying a goddamn corpse why Aria why.
"Uh..can someone get that paper?" As much as she would like to not be holding a corpse right now Candace was not going to just drop it.

Gale slanted his head towards Maddie, though he was slightly distracted by the fact that a severed hand had just dropped free from the bundle Aria had brought back.
"Yeah, grab whatever there is we can - maybe see if we can extract one of the hard drives from the computers - wherever they are," he said, a bit disgustedly, considering the state of the room (thanks to that damn yeti) but he was already starting to remember a former mission, a black pit of horror and nausea welling in the pit of his stomach.
No. Not here.
Swallowing hard, Gale pressed his lips together angrily and stepped forward, picking up the scrap of paper.
"What's this?"

Rep glanced sidelong as Aria re-emerged with some sort of object and roped in people to help carry it, raising a brow as a hand fell on the floor. ******** hell, that was certainly new and he found himself once again beset by that urge to throw up and once again was so /so/ grateful he'd been blessed with a stern stomach, the mist leader set him on edge and he wasn't about to make more of a fool of himself than usual, especially not covered as he was in /stuff/. Congealing stuff no less.
He wished he could make for the portal /right now/.

Gale had in his hands the Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka's factory. Except that it wasn't. Anyone who crowded around the young-but-more-experienced-than-most-others would be able to get a good look at it.

Aria didn't look like she'd expected that. Jordan pushed his curiosity down firmly, kept most of his attention on the holes in the wall, but watched out of the corner of his eye as Gale picked up the paper that had fallen with the hand. A note?

Robert saw the scrap of paper fall, but he didn't look entirely interested in its contents. He hefted the lump that he and Candace were holding, before giving her a vacant look. She seemed disgusted with the prospect that there was a body under the coat, but Robert didn't seem as phased. In fact, he looked entirely shut down, which was helpful for the situation.
"D'you want me to get this, Candace?" He gestured to their new carry on luggage mildly, giving her an out on carrying it back to the labs.

Candace shook her head. "No it's..it's okay. I've got it. I'll be fine. Not like it's my first time dragging a body that just...fell apart..." Why did it have to lose its hand.

Sydney, upon getting new orders, went to the computers again, grabbing the parts that could be salvaged, and carried information that could be gained. The more experienced trainees could deal with the severed hand business, she thought as she piled the items she found in her arms.
Unless there was a beer run after this, that was. Maybe she should get some of the snow--

Squinting at the note in his hands, Gale smoothed it out as much as he could, leaning over towards Maddie so that she could see it as well.
"Can you make anything of it?" he murmured, frowning. His heartbeat still felt a little bit faster than it should have been.
And he was studiously ignoring that hand on the floor.

Cass winced when she saw the hand hit the floor. She'd seen bodies before.. she'd...felt...bodies before, so it wasn't as jarring as it should have been, however. Still, it looked like they were pulling out, and Cass motioned to the Mist Trainees who were under hers and Candace's care.
"Take one last look around to make sure you haven't missed anything before you pull out." Cass herself moved to make a check of the area, taking a minute to pull out her phone and snap a few pictures of the area, before she walked over to pick up the hand, wrapping it up in her scarf carefully before she set that on top of the coat that Robert and Candace had.
"Head back, Candace, I'll keep an eye on our Lambs."

Oh god okay, yeah, Madison was going to keep ignoring the hand on the floor too, for now. There was intelligence here, right, and that was totally her division. Intelligence. Clues. Yeah. (And then Cass saved her from having to look at it. HOORAY FOR CASS.) She frowned at the note in Gale's hands. "Hrm, it's... I wonder if it's... the writing in the back is so faded, but this down here is much brighter. Newer?" She pointed at the bottom of the note, the swooping red lines. "Are there more pieces somewhere? All I can really read of the old writing is like... that B. Not even what language it is or anything." She made a face.

"Oh, I do so love when you bring me gifts, my dear," the doctor murmured, as he remained in place, taking his time to write several more notes on the trainees' performance. "Just leave it my exam room, I'll follow shortly."

Bix watched Aria's return with a careful eye. After the last yeti liquified there had been silence. Somehow he could tell the assault was done this time. He offered a hand to Fini, glad to see she was alright and helping her to her feet.
The body was taken quickly away, despite the dropped hand. Bix was a bit curious what Gale had gotten a hold of but instead swarming to see he simply held up his hands to the 'lambs'.
"Ok guys.. you heard her. Salvage anything you think is worth and it we will head back to the portal. If you are set now, head back. I'll wait with anyone who is still salvaging."
