Everyone:
High above the city, the church bells begin to ring.
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
Numerous door open. Thousands of boots exit onto the streets.
Branwen & Hiroto:
The old rhythm comes back to you: left, right, left, right...marching, always marching; never walking, never running, never pausing, never resting; always marching.
Nyx & Layla & Willow:
The bells' ringing reverberates throughout the hall of statues in which you stand. Suddenly, a flurry of hundreds of bats swarm down from the shadowed rafters. Irene screams and runs toward the open doors, blindly running from the swarm as it follows her out the front doors.
Branwen & Mazurn & Hiroto & Leina & Apollo:
The little anthro cat that Mazurn and Apollo had seen with Nyx earlier comes running out of the church, screaming her brains out as she is followed by a swarm of hundreds of bats. She runs toward all of you. Once she reaches you, she clings to Apollo's pant leg.
"Outsiders!" a gruffs voice calls. "This way!"
Should you look, you would see a man standing in front of the bank. He is beckoning you towards him. Leina and Hiroto once again recall the old man's order to go to the bank.

I flinch and clutch my head in distress at hearing the haunting sound of marching, and seeing the bat swarm makes me involuntarily duck for a moment. When I see the little cat come, however, I have made my decision to fight off this flurry of bats and let everyone go before me.
"Okay party, follow the old dude! I'll get these bats out of the way and watch our tail!" I announce, going up into the air and flapping my wings wildly to make the bats disperse and get away from the sad looking little cat girl and everyone else.

The moment I hear the church bells, all my muscles tense and I look about quickly to observe what's going on. My eyes widen slightly as all the soldiers emerge out of seemingly nowhere, some screaming kid runs out of the church, and then the already familiar outsider's cry begins. My shoulders droop somewhat in almost a sulking posture as i look at the sky and mutter, "Just freakin' fantastic..." I look towards the bank and realize the old man beckoning us over. I grab Hiroto by the arm and drag him along with me quickly toward the bank. I then call over my shoulder, "Time to go kids!"

I curse under my breath and dash after Irene. It seemed that we had to escape... now. I wondered if any of the other players knew where to go, as without guidence, it would likely tae the greatest of miracles to ensure my escape.

You see Irene clinging to the faceless mage.
Branwen:
The bats seem to have little care. In fact, they start attacking you. Their little fangs bite into your flesh painfully.
Leina:
The man opens the door.
"Hurry!" he says.
He looks to be in his twenties. He also looks absolutely frightened.
Layla:
You see the bats attacking an anthro raven that you don't recognize. You see the rogue that the tora-mimi had slapped earlier dragging a boy you don't recognize toward the bank, where a man is beckoning the players to him.

"We need to get out of here! But where do we go?" I see Leina being lead away by an NPC. "Let's follow them. It's a better bet than staying here."

I do just as the man says and hurry into the bank, glancing over my shoulder for only a slight second before entering to see if anyone else was smart enough to follow me. Once i cross the door frame I turn around to look at the guy helping us, but mutter more to myself. "If I have to go on a damn rescue mission cuz no one listens I definitely won't be happy..."

I start to slash indiscriminating at the bat swarm, trying to deter them. I let out a battle cry, tring to scare them away along with my attacks. I figured even if they retarget to me, my armor is likely to take their punishment better the the raven girl's...

I glare for a second or two towards the man before realizing once more that he was saving my a**. I grab Hiroto once more and drag him further inside, trying to find a good place to hide out....

I move into the entrance indicated by what seemed to be an NPC into the building. I looked around, trying to make sense of the chaos going around me. I knew that only level minded thinking would save use, though it sure was hard to be rational in a time like this...
