Rp Sample: The soldier took half a step back, seeming to fiddle with the barrel of their gun. A solid click is heard in the mechanism and the man kneels down, levels their gun, and squeezes the trigger. Fire spurts out from the end as the bullets flew out, hacking into the enemy that was so reckless as to charge, scaring the man.
He released the trigger and was able to feel his heartbeat pounding in his arms. The gun was steaming, quiet now though it had been humming before. It did its job.
He dumped the empty clip and slowly put in another one. He fumbled a little bit, but the was able to lock this clip into place and set the weapon. It would fire normally now... But he shouldn't force it into overdrive again unless he wanted the gun to blow up in his face.

Rihenian, I am SO sorry. Upon re-reviewing your weapon I realize I didn't note that the Burst mechanic only worked for a single post before you had a 5 post cooldown, and that you'd already done considerable work on the weapon with May.

I understand that this will not be accepted until my BL is accepted. I'm simply bored, so I decided to write this up.

If your BL is accepted, consider this weapon accepted. I see nothing wrong with it, and you haven't tried to overpower it. Do bear in mind though that i Synthia is destroyed it's going to seriously impact not only your character's skills, but health as well as it's an integrated part of her black blood.

Description: A pair of techno-magical Knuckle Dusters, The Basilisk Engine makes strikes +1 in speed and strength when activated, and if techniques involving the knuckles are used while these are equipped, they go up in power by a single rank. The actual part that makes contact is a tenderizer plate, covered in smaller, dull points, with 3 larger points of the same kind lined up with the spaces between the fingers.

Passive: Techniques involving the knuckles are used while these are equipped, they go up in strength by a single rank.

The rockets on the Basilisk Engine kick up at varying power levels. Every rank increases the distance they drag a person by a single foot. E being 1 foot, while SSS scoots you 8. For every two ranks, your strength increases by 1.

Tombz had to test the new weapon out as usual. He strapped them on, his odd hand shape took a liking to the clay substance he used, and immediately, he felt as if they had been with him for some time. He revved the thrusters a few times, checking to make sure they worked before getting into something. He banged them together, and to his delight, they didn't break. He found himself somewhere noisy, and went to work picking fights with raiders as usual. They never minded a few less mouths to feed. The first raider came in with brass knuckles, thinking he could match Tombz. Tombz however is a monk, and with a single squeeze triggered the thrusters, and upper-cutted the raider into the roof. Bashing the knuckles again, another raider came at him, catching the man's head between his fists, he squeezed, triggering, and crushing the man's head even easier then he would have before. He was content with testing today, and left in a hurry.

The Passive +1 to Strength is sensible given the nature of the weapon, but not the boost to Speed. It adds more weight to the hands.

The skill Fired Up temporarily increases your strength in regards to the power of the blow, correct? Will you add a finite number of rockets that can be fired before the weapon must be reloaded. This will render Fired Up Unusable until Rockets are manually reloaded back into the knuckle dusters. You can choose between that, or adding a cooldown to the skill.

Adjust the cooldown tier to 1 at E, 2 at D, so on, remove the Speed Bonus from use of the weapon, and resubmit it with those changes made so I can approve it.

Weaknesses: When Vincent absorbs the black blood of another, his insanity goes up. Basically, when he fights another of the black blood, he goes out of control, and can hurt comrades and innocents. He chooses to not fight them often.

The weapon overall looks solid. While this does give a hefty advantage to Vicent when fighting other black bloods, I am willing to approve it if you are willing to make a few modifications.

The first, please add a ranking scale of energy cost to the amount of physical damage recovered through Black Absorption. Basically, at E rank, Vincent can heal E rank damage at the cost of D Rank energy, can recover D rank damage at the cost of C rank energy, etc, so that the energy cost is one rank higher than the level of healing. This balances out the power, while at the same time giving you alot more versatility with its healing boon at later levels.

Additionally, the weapons weakness is very roundabout - not really a weakness unless you decide it to be. Would you consider making this change - that once Vincent's Insanity rises to a specified Threshold, his insanity throws him into a primal rage during which he sides with OTHER Black Bloods. If he's directly attacked by a Black blood while under this effect, he will then regard his attacker as an enemy.
