Fuuinjutsu are counted as if Ninjutsu and depending on specializations their slots are affected in different manners. If you're an Elemental Dual Wielder then they get as many jutsu slots as your two elements and Maruton. Otherwise you pick the Fuuinjutsu to take up one of your ninjutsu slots when you learn it.
Also with the Canon update some fuuinjutsu/Kuchiyose techniques are immediately available to genin, so have at it!
I see with the jobs system it's possible to develop your own items, weapons, and now even poisons and chems. Though I was wondering if it was possible to use this system and your progress in skill to improve upon customs items and resubmit them for approval if you possessed to skill to do so later on?

I would say yes and no. It would not constitute a resubmitted profile if yo replaced the hilt of a weapon with a new one, which now has a variable marble in it. Or if you replaced the blade of a weapon with an expertly crafted blade, it would simply require a notification of modification and proof of completion.
In my eyes the new Jobs System allows a system of custom weapons without the requirement of Custom Slots being consumed, but they have a finite set of rules. Established Variable Marbles can be implemented into weapons, or new mechanics can be designed and approved after requisite study and preparation times.
I do feel that some territory of custom weapons will fall obsolete with this system, except to act as a convenience and to allow people to quickly achieve an item they wish for the cost of custom item/jutsu slots instead of having to wait to do requisite missions or paying another PC to make it for them.
Thanks, and I didn't think about it that extensively , but i figure you're right you could build your own stuff to a finite limit, but still it's interesting to think of. This should be pretty useful for my Crafting/Mechanical focused character.
Make sure you quote someone if you want a quick response. =P
From what I understand, if a spar or fight ends in a draw, both parties win.

Question on the religion job system. If one were to introduce their own chosen religion to the system rather than the ones provided, how would you go about detailing the the effects of the religion? would we talk it trough with the mods in it's relationship to certain physical facets to the guild mechanics it might influence or are any added or suggested religions only allowed cosmetic (superficial) effects?
Also what if a religion had many variations of it and one were to marry a few into something fitting their own vision of what might be appropriate for the guild if introduced?

Added religions would look in effect like those presented. The ones shown currently are all that have been seen here, due to canon or cultural bases. Having spoken with another about this, introducing a religion that has no foot hold here means simply having a personal faith, and trying to gain others. (no effects) When a threshold is achieved on down the line--and the faith turns into something more socially based--is when effects can be added, and the new faith-turned-religion will be posted for all.
All variations are included, like the differences between Southern and Northern Zen, and just regular Buddhism. If you're talking about how if you go far back enough, Catholicism, Calvinism, Eastern Orthodox, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and many more converge into one singular origin, then no. If you were to essentially merge a bunch of parts from these together, then that would still be whatever you're trying to introduce. i.e. It wouldn't matter, as it still has to gain traction. I know several folks would be happy to hear this next example: The Force. It's essentially a religion, if you take into account both the good guys and the bad guys as one whole. Just... there's no one here in-rp that has ever heard of such notions, so the 'word' doesn't spread.

So essentially any proposed personal "religion" starts as a "faith" since it's not a mass social facet of society. Once it achieve such it can become available for others to practice and then proposed effects can be further discussed or hashed out relative to the virtues of the faith turned religion.
Last question on this is, can you carry out the religion job missions with ones "faith"? Or are we restricted to only use the given religions known to this world?
I know I had like an old character, but can I delete her and make a different one? And if yeah, should I delete the post of it?

I suppose you could carry them out, but since your particular religious institution doesn't exist, titles, effects, and religious items can't be given. The only thing that would come out of it would be A.C. and ryo for the early missions, and the non-religious award for the [B, A, S] ones. It would be exactly like if a higher up from one religion were to ask a non-believer (of theirs) for help.
Sofiable
No need. ^_^ In your app, if you're going to the same village as previously, just put down that the new one is replacing them.
Okay, so 'm helping out as a "non-believer" essentially and relatively I withhold my own gospel for myself and those who'd listen gaining the basic earnings from that and the other rewards relative to the guild not the religion themselves. So I'd be a Vodun practitioner helping in a Buddhist temple. Thanks for the help.

So which village would be better to join as far as activity? Kumo or Kiri? I love both and I'll be bringing a friend with me to this village. Will anyone just point and push me to village please?

Sorry for the long wait! I've been on hiatus, and I'm not sure where the rest of the mods went. But Kumo's always taking more people, so we'd welcome you with open arms. I've got some events lined up that'll be all about developing individual characters.
Kiri's a little slow at the moment, but there's still a couple of us there who will post for you, if you prefer something a bit lower key.
