You tell me I'm frozen-- But what can I do? Can't tell the reasons-- I did it for you... When lies turn into truth... I sacrificed for you You say that I'm frozen-- But what can I do? It tears me apart that you will never know...
XXXXXXXXXXXXName: Ƞarcissa "Cissa" Ƚucania Team: Ѻmega Location: DR Thinking: Bloody hell.XXXXXXXXXXXX Narcissa’s booted feet touched down on the room, the X-Jet far enough away, hopefully, that Magneto would be too preoccupied to seize it for his own purposes. Like throwing it headlong into a crowd of anti-mutant supporters. She didn’t give any orders right away, because she didn’t know what kind of debacle they were walking into. It was better to assess first, direct second. Cool blue eyes wandered the edge of the rooftop warily as the structure rocked beneath her feet violently. Storm took to the sky, with an agenda all her own—Moving low enough not to be seen. Cyclops lead the way in the most direct line across the rooftops, so they could get a better look… It was a mad house down below. Police, civilians, martial force, and what looked like every member of SWAT or some nonesuch black clothed military unit had poured into the square below. It was complete chaos. Magneto was rounding up Senator Kelly and his administration on the steps of the courthouse—Barring them in by bending rebar and pieces of fire escaped around them, making an effect cage. Senator Kelly was screaming something, and from the redness of his face, screaming top lung. Narcissa wished they were close enough to hear what was being said. Her ice ridden eyes lost interest quickly, and instead focused on the big picture…Their only tactical advantage would be the element of surprise. She could only see a few of Magneto’s followers standing out in the crowd right away… A woman with dark hair, dressed in shades of red with a long cloak. And a man that made the earth split and swallow men whole… He was the reason the buildings shook. Her comm suddenly went off with Christian’s voice, announcing that Quicksilver had made an appearance at the mall and had indeed taken a hostage. She swore under her breath, keeping her eyes peeled. She’d never formally met the majority of the Brotherhood…The last time some of the Junior members came in contact with that particular group, the Omega’s had been outside of the main fight. She’d assisted in defending against Pyro, and a few others idiots… But she didn’t exactly know what she was looking for. “Roger that Sidetrack. Be careful. Give me an update as soon as its safe.” She knew names, faces from the database but… That wasn’t the same as seeing them in action. She hadn’t sent Christian in with an energy user, because she had a feeling they were going to need all the firepower they could get. He could always leech off of his little Alpha b***h Raine, if necessary. But more importantly, he had a good head on his shoulders, and was dead accurate with a gun. He didn’t use his powers as a crutch, like many of them did…To be honest, as she did. The other two, Daylia and Megan would provide good support and defense if necessary…Especially, if a hasty retreat was required. Upon closer inspection, she saw that the most notable Brotherhood members were not the only mutants on Magneto’s side. There were some coming up from the manholes that started to attack the police, keeping them from rescuing the hostages.…Her eyes widened a fraction of an inch. Morlocks? She hadn’t seen hide nor hair of them in what felt like forever…She couldn’t be sure, that’s who they were… But they came in droves. Gunshots fired… There was near constant screaming coming from the crowds below. Panic, the scent of fear in the air…Magneto was taking out camera crews methodically, one by one. For some reason…He didn’t seem to want the rest of the proceedings visually documented. That would be impossible to avid with cell phones nowadays. Raising her comm to her lips, her golden hair tossed about her head for a moment in a faint breeze—A plan rapidly forming. Their main purpose was to free the hostages, and escort them safely from the area… At least according to Scott. But soon enough, the hostages would include the police as well… There were already individuals laying on the ground, prone. Trampled, shot, or otherwise…Lives had already been lost. It didn’t bode well for mutants on the whole. Scott was headed down to try and somehow….Reason, with the Chief of police. It was a slim, toothpick sized chance but any help they could get in not getting shot while trying to save the lives of those that hated and feared them was a blessing. “Knoxx, Ace, Rave, Copycat, Measure, Psyche—“, she called a few of the Omega’s over the link, her eyes following a large group of civilians being rounded up by a group of the mutants that had come from the sewers. The man that had caused the earthquakes, Avalanche, was watching them intensely. No doubt, threatening to swallow them all whole if they misbehaved. “Head down the fire escape on the east side of this building, and see what you can do to free the hostages there. I see at least seven other mutants on Magneto’s side—and one of his cronies keeping them quiet.”
“Psyche—Unless you feel comfortable getting up close and personal, they could use some overhead cover. Once you subdue the guards--Try and escort them away from the hot zone…Whatever you do…Don’t forget about Magneto. He’s occupied…For now.”Looking towards Magneto, she released a deep sigh, repeating the warning in he head…And then turned her gaze to the red clad woman. Scarlet Witch? She seemed to be distorting things, causing water pipes to burst out of the ground and attack the SWAT teams that tried to fire their weapons at her. Many of the rifles or combat shotguns backfired. Those wearing riot gear suddenly found their shields exploding, masks cracking away to nothing…Electric and cable lines fell, and police cars started tossing their passengers out. Magneto lifted the now empty cars and used them to block off the main entrances to most of the streets…Alleyways would be one of the only ways to escape now. Or through buildings. A few of the mutants that had come from the sewers threw Molotov’s of some kind at them, causing the car pile ups to explode and burn. “Kraken, Paladin, Covet, and Dice…”, she trailed off, choosing the rest of her Omega’s to help deal with the other mess that the Scarlet Witch was creating. “Follow me down the other to the next building…. We need to stop her from… Whatever the hell she’s doing. It’s like anything that gets near her goes…Wrong.”
“It’s mostly police and military she’s got cornered…Once we get her and any of the others dealt with, they’ll either take the initiative and haul a**, shoot at us, or fall in line. So be prepared.” Out of the corner of her eye she saw Storm pulling on the elements and changing the weather… Clouds filled the sky, and slowly it began to rain—Until it was hard enough to put out the fires that the exploding cars and Molotov’s had started… The square looked less and less like a formal republican meeting, and more like a biker rally. The weather change caught Magneto’s attention—He might have even felt the metal of the X-Jet… Nevertheless, he pointed towards them, and several followers started forward. Again, speaking into her comm, she began to dart across the roof—Using a small burst of energy to jump from one side to the other. The boys and Covet likely wouldn’t have much trouble with the gap—But mostly of them had at least six inches on her in height. “They know we’re here—Lets move!” She quickly became soaked with rainwater… It made the wrought iron fire escapes death traps… But her footing was sure enough that she could fly down them , vaulting over the lowest platform and to the cement with relative ease. She was no gymnast, but between fighting for years and the obstacle courses they ran… This part was a piece of cake. The first one down to street level, she was immediately accosted by two men. From their ripped, dirty grunge clothing, and crude—Almost homemade looking weapons, she either guessed they were recruits from the sewers, Morlocks, or vagrants from Mutant Town. One man, with rocks for skin, grabbed her arm and she twisted away—Taking several steps backward as the other man with snake eyes and a forked tongue drew back a baseball bat with nails sticking out of it. With the rain pouring down like cats and dogs, it made visibility moot, and she didn’t see or hear a third behind her….Didn't feel their energy signature immediately. But she did notice, after a split second-- And she stood sideways-- Hands pointed in either direction...On the defense, until the rest of her group made it down. There were more on the way, all of them sent by bucket head, to greet their little party... More than likely, the other half of her team would be welcomed in a similar fashion. XXXXXXXXXXXX

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Unaliged╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Shopping Mall ╰☆╮
"Let me believe it's not me. Not my eyes, that you see. I've only just begun... I can be anyone." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ Katarina had heard of time flying by…But it was only during a fight, that she felt she truly understood the meaning of it. She kept her back pressed to the information kiosk, hands pressed to the thin Plexiglas. If shots went off, she knew it wouldn’t protect her. But it was the thought that counted. The faux feeling of security that the free standing sign provided her, against the blue skinned mutie.
A cluster of humans fled the scene as the flame went out, and she peeked to see that it was mostly the work of a water manipulator. It made her shake her head, when she realized that so many flatscans remained, petrified stiff. Almost sadly, she realized that if they remained where they were…They’d likely be injured or worse in the crossfire. And that’s assuming, the right side of the two parties having a discrepancy came out the victor.
Kali stayed away from it for the most part. It wasn’t her conflict to delve into. Granted she did know of a few people that seemed to be involved. But that didn’t mean that they were persons worth sticking her neck out for. One of them likely wouldn’t know she existed, and both of them, had every reason to endeavor to try and…and terminate her, on sight.
Speaking of the agent, she hadn’t noticed him truly, until he was already looking in her direction. Unintentionally she returned his gaze, gunmetal steel eyes unreadable. She could see recognition on his face, and the remembrance of their last confrontation urged her to flee. Already, she’d been made. Her real identity being out in the open made her nervous, more anxious than the miniature war going on in the shopping center. She looked away from the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, breaking away to watch the ensuing fight.
The chocolate haired shifter wanted to flee, badly.
But she needed to converse with X-20.
She needed to know how he’d managed to escape. How he’d been able to stay off the radar and remain…Free, for so long. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agent made her curious, but once again…Now was not the time.
Her ears perked up when she heard dialogue…Again looking around the kiosk to see blue creature speaking, making some kind of snide offer to the teenagers in the area. She blinked, hearing them called X-Men. These were the people that she was looking for? That she’d been…Apprehensively avoiding? Her eyes flickered back towards where she’d last seen the white headed project hostile, though he had long since vanished in the masses… Was he with the X-Men?
She heard cracking sounds, and then a gun shot. Most would have jumped, but she remained still, muscles taut and ready. Katarina knew that sound all too well. And knew that one, usually lead to another.
Questions burned in her mind and abdomen, things that couldn’t be answered easily or likely anytime soon. Though it seemed god was merciful, and at least gave her one response…X-20 barreled past her, barking out orders to the others.
Her eyes widened in disbelief…He’d been here, all this time…Hiding in plain sight with the X-Men? Had HYDRA known? He was last sighted leaving the facility… But there had never been a mention of a return in the file. Katarina was appalled at the apparent inefficiency and laziness of her former employ… And somewhat confused.
Watching the hostile project charge some kind of…Mountain of a man, and what looked like a half transformed shifter she bit her lower lip, the name of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent jarring her thought process. If these mutants somehow managed to kill X-20, the perfect weapon, though she severely doubted the likelihood of it…She would never find her answers.
So she shifted.
It was quick, and the furthest thing from pretty. The human body was truly never meant to become anything else. Sometimes…Correction, most of the time, the change was illogical and bizarre… Most everytime, a different part of her changed first. She couldn’t choose what happened when. The first thing she felt was her ears sliding up the sides of her head. Long whiskers sprouting from her face as blue-black fur erupted from her still bipedal form. In the mere seconds it took for her to put her hands to the scuffed floor, they were paws. And she, was a perfect replica of the large melanistic cat. Most commonly referred to as a black panther, she was really a variant of jaguar.
She felt the animal mind underneath her own, and she listened to its instincts…Ignoring the various scents of blood in the area. The big cat she had become was bored, and hungry. But she had to listen to it, to a degree, or else she was simply a human wearing an animal skin. Her deadly sharp claws clicked on the tile as she moved forward, baring her fangs. She hissed, growling low to announce her presence to X-20 and the other X-Men, before releasing a roar, seemingly filled with violent intent.
Her yellow-gold eyes zoned in on the Wolf Man. A lone wolf, to a two hundred and some odd pound panther was…A little insulting. The panther was prideful, but Kali was wary. It wasn’t just a wolf.

Mystique had shot Bella in the shoulder, and all of the Alphas were doing what they could to man the chaos. Others had started to come to their aid – ones that she could only presume were part of the Omega squadron.
The shot rang, and Aurelie involuntarily took a step forward, only to halt in her rush – it wasn't prudent to run gallantly towards Bella; it was suicide. And what with the group they were opposing, Aurelie wasn't sure that the Alphas had the experience necessary to render them useless – Magneto trained his puppets well. She swallowed her heart, forcing it back down to her chest when Mystique barked the order to kill them – minus Eli. Blue eyes glided over in the magnet user's direction, a small frown of concern forming on her countenance. Nothing about being someone who Magneto's clan was interested in sounded good.
They needed to get their leader out of there, and fast. Maybe, if she could drop her shields she could lift her with her telekinesis – but Aurelie could only do so much – and maintaining the shields when they were intent on testing them to their limit was too draining to try and pick up much else. They needed the shields in order to keep their heads above water.
Leo stepped towards her, reiterating what she'd been thinking. “I'll do my best.” Though the opposing group looked intent on breaking them at the earliest chance. And as long as they continued to test the strength, Aurelie's reserves.
She shuddered when Toad snapped a tongue towards her, hitting the invisible barrier before he could get to her. Despite the fact that he'd no chance in coming into skin to skin contact, Aurelie's flesh had a very stark desire to crawl off of her bones. “How about, when you can walk upright and be a real man... someone might give you a chance.” Not her, but maybe someone. Some day. “Until then... we'll stick with him, thanks.”
Bella gave the commands silently – an advantage that their adversaries didn't have – one that the telekinetic was thankful for. Gideon and someone she didn't know rushed the scene, the former bidding them to get Bella out of the reign of fire; Aurelie didn't move. She wouldn't leave him to the baddies on his own.
“Renaissance Man” She whispered. “I can't grab her and carry her, and hold the shields at the same time.” It was an apologetic tone, because she didn't have the mastery to do both at once. There was another ping to her shields, and Aurelie closed her eyes, concentrating harder on maintaining them. They needed a plan – one that didn't involve letting Gideon play rag doll for Magneto's cronies. Eli dished out an idea to Marcel – one that would sufficiently take care of the Lava man, who was still pounding at the shields she had surrounded the group by the fountain with.
And she really hoped it'd work, because if she held out for too long and the shields bursted... she'd pay for it. And be less useful than Bella currently was.

Team Alpha’s Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location: Inside Mall Thoughts: Shield support! Tsukino decided to get moving to the fountain because the noise from that area was getting worst.Tsukino looked at Varis and Raine who were about to get moving as well.Tsukino nodded to them before dashing on ahead. She wanted to help and right now she felt a sickening feeling that could only mean something bad was about to happen. She closed her eyes as she saw the fountain straght ahead and a battle underway.
----At The Fountain-----
As Tsukino reached the fountain she saw a battle that you would only see in post-apocalyptic movies. It seemed Eli and Marcel had been taking care of Pyro and a lava man. Two flying asian mutants and a interesting colored hulk like man were also in the battle. Then Tsukino's heart sunk as she saw Isabella, wounded by a gun shot. She was being protected by a mutant with long claws(Digger). She took a notice of the battlefield and wondered where her help could be most beneficial for the whole team. There was so much work to be done but If Tsukino made the right choice on who to assist first, then it could change the course of the fight.Which the main priority at the moment would be getting Bella out of harm's way.
Many people were already helping and had partners with them. One mutant(Katarina) who seemed like she was about to help defend Bella, was new to Tsukino. The girl had transformed into a panther like form and was going on the offensive.Tsukino was glad she was on thier side.
Tsukino spotted Aurelie, who seemed to have been getting some instruction from Leo.He pointed in the direction of Bella and probably wanted her to keep that forcefield up as well as levitate Bella to safety.Tsukino smiled and quickly made her way to Aurelie through the midst of the destruction. She kept a triangle barrier in front of herself in order to defend against any attacks targeting her.Her eyes grew a bright orange as she made it to her destination causing the triangle barrier to disappear and she began to form a thick, dome shaped barrier around the shield created by Aurelie. She did this so Aurelie could let down her force field and do as Leo asked.
"Allegra, let down your forcefield and assist Bella.I'll handle things here."She said in a concentrated tone."I can open a hole in my barrier so you can levitate Bella inside here.Give me the heads up when she is close enough for me to open the barrier. But if you have a better plan im all ears."Tsukino said this time with a more scared tone. She hoped that in this process nothing else bad would happen.

Alpha: Location - Mall, Ugh I am going to need to take at least six showers now.|986|▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Bianca looked at Dimitri as he voiced being able to take them along though they might get stuck with them. Staring back down at the kids Bianca gave a faint smile. "That would be fine with me, watching them that is, I would probably make a terrible parent. Especially considering I am barely old enough to have my own." Well she didn't consider herself really old enough or even experienced enough for a kid. She was a virgin after all and didn't even want to fathom having a kid yet. Still protecting these three orphans came natural to her. So maybe one day she would make a good parent? Dimitri replied that the dragon made of fire did indeed point towards a mutant and Bianca shrugged. The entire situation was escalating quickly. It was certainly no place at all for a child which made getting the orphans out safely even more important now than it had been before.
Giving Dimitri a slightly confused look as he mentioned her looking nice and not knowing what she was talking about. "What? Do you really think this is the time for that?" Then he seemed to get what she was talking about and agreed with her that the situation sucked. "Yeah." Dimitri mentioned taking the kids to safety and Bianca bit her lip looking towards the exit that wasn't very far away. There was only a few villains and the Alphas had them outnumbered by quite a lot. She was also sure somebody would help Bella out of her current situation. "O-Okay. Let's hurry though and make this quick. I can use my ability if needed. I doubt it would garner attention from them while they are preoccupied after all." Gathering the children around her as she stood up she began moving towards the exit. With the appearance of the villains the humans seemed to be less about rioting and more about trying to get out of there for the moment.
Making it to the door to get out of the mall Bianca was about ready to leave when a gunshot rang through the air. Eyes wide as she remembered the gun being pointed to Bella's head she turned around and frantically searched for the raven haired woman. Panic threatened to erupt in her chest as she couldn't spot the woman. "No no no they they wouldn't would they? She can't be...dead. She can't." Tears pooled up into her eyes until finally she spotted Bella in the distance still standing but clutching her shoulder. At least she wasn't dead. Five more people emerged from the abercrombie and fitch store and Bianca sighed. They were mutants as well weren't they? She had yet to move from her spot and she turned to Dimitri. "They just evened the numbers. Since you can't exactly showcase your ability right now can you take them the rest of the way while I go give assistance? You should probably meet back up with the others outside. Thanks for helping me when I needed it."
Giving the man a brief smile she headed back into the crowd without another word or waiting for him to really say anything. She didn't think he would let the children come to any harm while they were with him and therefore she was more concerned with helping her team. As she moved through the crowd her eyes landed on the frog man who was retreating to who knew where. If he was leaving then that wasn't good right? Moving after him Bianca made sure he didn't spot her. As she followed the green man Bella's voice appeared in her ears and Bianca found solace in the fact that she was still well enough to use her ability. She wanted to rush to the aide of the woman but that wouldn't help anybody right now. Right now she just needed to focus on what the frog man was doing and hope that she wasn't walking into a trap. No one else was following him however so Bianca felt it was her duty to follow him and at least try and be useful even if she probably wasn't.
Stopping suddenly and ducking behind something Bianca peered around the edge of what she was ducking behind and watched Toad go to work on some kind of device. It didn't take long for her to figure out that he was arming a bomb of some kind. That was not good. Touching her comm Bianca cleared her throat broadcasting to all the Alphas and X-men that had came with them. "Uh does anybody know anything about bombs? If not we have a problem here. I would say just follow the stink of this frog man but somehow I don't think that would work. I am currently at-" Just as she was about to speak up more a disgusting and long tongue wrapped around her right ankle and yanked her out of from behind her cover. Toad started to pull her towards him when Bianca gathered all the darkness around her to her hands and shot a beam of darkness towards the frog. The element of surprise worked in her favor as the beam hit him directly in the chest and sent him backwards releasing his tongue from her leg.
Scrambling to her feet Bianca took off for more cover before he could get back up and did her best to be quiet as she slid behind a wall. Heart beating faster she resisted the urge to call for help so it didn't alert him immediately to her position. Her being suddenly cut off would be more than enough for most to know something wasn't right. Until help showed up to disarm the bomb Bianca would just attempt to play cat and mouse with the frog man. Obviously she was the mouse in the situation. Hopefully it wouldn't take people dreadfully long to find her.

The Omegas: Rally, Why does this all just sound like a lot more work than what I was enjoying? |971|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Felix knew he was about to be told something he wasn't going to like the moment he was called into the headmistresses office. Taking a seat and staring across at the seemingly perfect face of Emma Frost he waited patiently for her to speak. Once she had spoke Felix had a feeling he would wish she hadn't. Life so far at the academy had proven to be exceedingly easy if not a little boring. He was content however with the way things currently were. He was able to get by without any real trouble and aside from the occasional tutoring session didn't really have to talk to anybody. He knew enough to appear unremarkable in an attempt to get out of having to do more boring work. Apparently he had not been doing that well enough however. So when things were about to change likely not for the better he tended to actually care enough to express his displeasure. Granted he had yet to do so. The ads that were all over the tv screen had peaked his interest enough that he was willing to go with the change that was coming. At least for now.
"Professor Frost." Was all he said as he waited for things to begin his tone matching the sheer and utter boredom that his face was currently showing. As she seemed to be busy for the moment he let his eyes wander around the office in slight impatience. After a minute or two she seemed to finally be ready for him as she gave him her attention though it didn't seem like he had her entire attention. Taking in her appearance again just made him wary. Her outward perfection reminded him somewhat of a porcelain doll and he was never to found of dolls. She just made him feel uneasy. Not to mention it was highly likely she was hearing every thought he had currently. Telepaths were annoying. "You are being assigned to one of the junior teams, the Omegas, to be precise. They should already have left for the courthouse as there is a situation there. You are to go down there and give assistance where it is needed and officially meet your fellow team members." Raising an eyebrow at her he made no movements to move from the seat.
"So I take it I have no say in this?" The look he received next from the blond told him that he did indeed have no choice and he let out a small sigh and rolled his eyes slightly. "So I guess a 'I don't feel like' it is out of the question. Anything about the situation I should know aside from there is a situation?" Giving the blond across from him his full attention again he waited for her to speak up. "Magneto is currently there with some of the brotherhood members. A mall the Alphas were sent into has been taken as one big hostage situation for him to manipulate as he sees fit. Anything else you want to know can wait. Now get moving." Magneto? Now things just got a little more interesting. After hearing about Magneto being there Felix decided to just go ahead and leave. Standing up from his chair he turned around and walked towards the door. "See you in class Professor Frost."
--Time Skip--
Felix opted to do the natural thing for him and ran to the courthouse making sure to stop as he entered just out of the line of sight. The last thing he wanted was to be picked off immediately upon arrival. Wearing civilian attire for the moment he moved forward without much purpose. He had brought along a comm as Emma had instructed of him before he left and had it currently in his pocket. The situation was not good. He made sure he wasn't on anybodies radar as he watched for the moment to intervene preferring to have the element of surprise on his side for this situation. The other Omegas seemed to have arrived already though from what he could see nobody looked like they were hurt in any way. Yet. Magneto was a person of interest for him as he found himself thinking at least partially that he was right. Still for now he would remain in his current team.
Doing another thing Emma had suggested before he left fully he took out his comm and broadcast to Narcissa who he had been instructed was his leader. "Solaris this is Dart. Frost sent me in to assist you as a new recruit. Anything you would like me to be doing. I run fast by the way." The last bit was his way of letting her know exactly what he could do considering he didn't figure she already knew. Then again how long Emma had been expecting to assign him to the Omegas he didn't know. For all he knew she might have mentioned him weeks ago. Blue pools taking in all of the action at once he prepared himself to intervene as necessary. Storm caused well a storm and visibility dropped causing Felix to try and squint as he looked around. Taking the lessened visibility and using it to his favor he rushed in and slammed into a mutant coming from a sewer nearby to harm the humans. Continuing forward after the collision Felix tried to remain still until orders had been given.
The mutant didn't know what hit him and seemed to be down for the moment. The last thing he wanted to do was make a move to do something that would foil any plans that had already been made. After all he had just arrived on the scene and he didn't have as good a handle on the situation as the others since he was already ground level.
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ "I see pain, I see need, I see liars and thieves, Abused power with greed. I had hope, I believed, But I'm beginning to think that I've been deceived. You will pay for what you've done."

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Mall Aye Aye, Captain Metal Bones! Retreat! Leonardo had totally forgotten about Gideon. His attention had been focused entirely on the injured Bella and the incoming baddies. So when the white-haired mutant suddenly burst into action, slamming down Mystique, Ginger Hulk, and Pack, Leonardo felt a little bit of the weight on his shoulders lift slightly. They had a Wolverine clone with them… someone indestructible. Someone who could hold off the bad guys while they all escaped… because at the moment, that seemed like the best option right now. True, there was the fantastic idea that they could indeed come out on top in this battle royale, but Leo’s mind was on retreat. Their leader was wounded, and the majority of the Alphas present were newbies. As far as he could tell, the only ones with battle experience were Gideon, Bella, himself, maybe Eli, and possibly Tara from the Halloween incident. The rest were new to this type of thing… fighting for their lives and the lives of others. These other guys… Magneto’s lackeys… weren’t. They were trained to fight… trained to kill.
And now the odds didn’t seem so good anymore.
His attention turned once again to the HYDRA agent that had been lurking at a kiosk moments earlier. Suddenly, she started to shift, and Leonardo felt himself tense up. It wasn’t the first time he had seen the girl change into a form she wasn’t born as. This time, it was a large black cat… a panther. Great… was he going to have to wrestle a panther and a Ginger Hulk? No, wait… she was growling at the Wolf-Man… was she helping them? What was this? Whatever her intentions were, it seemed at the present moment; the HYDRA agent was helping them out… for reasons beyond the former SHIELD operative.
The Asian Alpha rushed over just then, throwing up her own shield to help with matters. Wait… what was her name? Leo had to rack his brain for when they were sitting on the bleachers what seemed like ages ago… Tsukino. That was it. Or something weird like that. Codename was… Moonlight. That was easier to remember. Her idea wasn’t bad… but it meant that they were going to hunker down at the fountain… out in the open… one of the worst places to be, tactically. No… best option was to retreat. It was a battle that was already lost… and they didn’t have the resources or time to have another injury… or worse… on their team. It was time to cut their losses and go home.
Gideon roared at them to help Bella while he held off the baddies… exactly Leo’s plan in the first place. Made sense; guy wants to save his girlfriend and fend off the dragons at the same time. However, Leo was going to make sure that Gideon was going to get out with them too, one way or another. No man left behind… even if he was invincible. Or else it would be a long walk.
Turning to Tsukino, Leonardo gave the same commanding tone he had while his tenure at SHIELD. “I’m going to get Siren, and then we get out. We’re outmatched by a long shot here; too few of us have the training necessary to go head-to-head with these guys. Allegra,” he turned to Aurelie, glad that Tsukino had said her codename… because he had almost forgotten it. “I’m going to need the both of you to bring up the rear since as far as I can tell you both have the best defensive abilities out of us here.” The best that can work in concert, anyways. Turning to the rest of the Alphas, Leo said, “Hear that? We get Siren, and we get out. We don’t stand a chance right now against these guys. Not like this.”
Leo hated it; taking up the leader position when it wasn’t appointed to him. He felt like he might be stepping on someone’s toes or going over some sort of boundary… but then again, their leader had been shot and the closest thing they had to a second in command was the leader’s boyfriend… who was fending off the bad guys. No one else seemed to have any better ideas… or the same experience that Leo had in the field. They could berate him later for giving orders… he was going to make sure that everyone got out alive. That’s all he cared about at this point.
So now Leo leapt into action, sliding under the forming dome barrier that Tsukino was making just before it touched the ground. Getting up and queuing up his ant strength (because he knew he might have to carry Bella), Leo started to make a beeline for her group. He could see that an ersatz bandage had already been applied to Bella’s wound; but that wouldn’t help for long. Bullet wounds weren’t like in the movies; minimal blood and the character could still fight. The adrenaline would start to wear off… and then the pain would set in.
Leo leapt over an overturned trash bin, using the applied strength in his legs to leap into the air. In mid-air, out of the corner of his peripheral vision, Leo could suddenly see a snout… and then large teeth, come flying at him. It was the Wolf-Man… Pack. He must’ve seen that Leo had broken away from his group and then decided to go after him since he was out in the open. Good thing Leo had a knee-jerk reaction to those sorts of attacks… punch them in the face. And that’s what he did; he slammed his clenched fist into Pack’s jaw, sending him careening off course and into the ground. He more than likely knocked out a few fangs… but didn’t knock him out for the count. That would have to come later.
Finally reaching the group, he could see that Bella was zoning out, feeling the first symptoms of shock and blood loss. She started to fall, and Leo instantly went to Bella, catching her in a rather heroic fashion. A more practical way would have been to do it the way that firemen carry people out of burning buildings… but that would have yielded a bigger punishment from the songstress, seeing as how she was wearing a dress. “You can kill me for this later,” he muttered to the unconscious Latino. It wasn’t worth it to stay behind and fight. What would be the use of it, if they wouldn’t kill them? They needed to get away before any of their own was injured. Looking in between Chameleon and Digger, Leonardo said, “Let me just go and say that we are not retreating. Merely advancing in a different direction.”
“Veritas… let’s move! Now.” Leonardo said in the direction of the Wolverine clone. He knew that Gideon had advanced hearing; not as good as Bella’s, but attuned enough to pick out his name if it was said. Hopefully he would get the message and finish up in time to get out of the mall.
As Leo turned towards the exit, he heard the transmission that Bianca sent out over the comms. A bomb? Great. They planned to wipe them out anyways, one way or another. He grunted, stopping in his tracks in order to assess the situation once again. Leo couldn’t disarm a bomb… and his powers weren’t great for it either. True, he could lift the bomb (depending on its size), but he had done enough for the day. His torso ached… as did his entire body. He had taken a beating earlier, but wasn’t letting the discomfort and pain show through to his teammates. They needed to split up; one group go for the bomb, the other get out of the mall and see if they could hail the X-Jet to pick up the others. And then a third to hold off the baddies.
“Allegra! Moonlight! Blond chick (Alex)! Go help Opaque with the bomb!” He roared to the Alphas. “Landslide and Tempest, with me. You two,” he turned back to Chameleon and Digger… he didn’t know them yet, “stay with Veritas.” He nodded in the direction of Gideon. Eli and Marcel were fine where they were, helping with the fight. That left… three with himself, four to deal with the bomb… and five to hold back the baddies. “Flintlock, stay with Veritas, Railgun, and Water-boy!” (he’d forgotten Marcel’s codename). That made six to hold back the bad guys… those odds were better.
He spotted Raine and Varis entering the mall, since they had been behind Tsukino. “Glitter!” he was so glad he remembered her codename, “There’s a bomb that Allegra and Moonlight are going to go try and disarm. Go with them!” Spotting Varis, he shouted, “You! With me.”
Leo looked back over to the HYDRA agent… still wondering what her motives were. If she was helping though… she would stay with Gideon. Hopefully.
“Alright guys… let’s move out!”

Omega, Location: Rally Fighting Hobos, should be fun
Walking along the roof he got the orders from Solaris to make their way towards putting a stop at who Roland made the identification as The Scarlet Witch. Granted, the fact that she was wearing a collection of shades of red it was not exactly the farthest leap in logic. He remembered back to what Siona had told him when he first met her back at the party, about how she can manipulate probability for a variety of dangerous effects. This woman was definitely going to be one that they would have to worry about, considering this woman could very well make them slip up with a simple thought. Suffice to say that this was shaping up to be one hell of a day. The rain kicked up quite quickly, something that he could see was the result of Storm's influence. With a rain like this, most people will have trouble seeing things. However, when it comes to this kind of a situation it really pays to be from New Orleans, you had to be able to see things during a storm.
He saw Solaris go down the fire escape, something that Roland followed quickly as he barrelled down. He saw her be ambushed by several mutant hobos, or as how he once heard them described as "Urban Outdoorsmen" and that instantly made the glow in his eyes brighten. He dropped down to the ground and quickly burst towards one of the attackers that he may well describe in a phrase as "Snake Eyes". Snake Eyes had a bat in his hands that had nails in it, and as he tried to make a quick swing he proved to be much quicker as he grabbed him by the forearms. With the vice grip he had, he quickly got his armor up and applied even further pressure. The sound of bones snapping rang like a drum roll as he looked into the eyes of his opponent. The anguish and pain in his eyes was something he had long seen in his life, something that he wasn't going to stop seeing for a long time. The bat dropped to the ground as he let go, and watched Snake Eyes run off. He took the bat off the ground and got himself ready to fight the others.

Omega/ Rally turned War Zone/ Are You a Singing Hobo Or A Stabbing Hobo?Jacen chuckled lightly, head tilting back as he began nodding. “I’ll be looking forward to it,” The curly-haired mutant said to his comrade. The moment of rest passed by as the Omegas started across the roof, in astounding levels of quietness. Weren’t these the times the Main-landers cracked jokes? Granted, he couldn’t blame them, most of them were getting this as their first mission in the field. He kept up with Scott and Narcissa easily, taking in the scene below, memorizing various aspects of their new battleground. Where Hostiles and Hostages were, potential places for cover, Locations of the nearest restrooms. Kidding about that last one. It seemed as though there presence was unnoticed for the moment, and they’d need that moment. Jacen made a mental note that Quicksilver was on his way, the prospect of both him and his sister fighting together not looking to good. Not to mention Avalanche. The stupid tremors he was setting off were screwing up his sense of touch. Until he was taken out, Jacen’s knock-off spider-sense would be useless. And last but not least, Morlocks. How long had it been since the Omegas had taken their little foray into the sewers of mutant town? He honestly couldn’t remember the date, though he did remember he’d been thankful for his decreased sense of smell for once. As Scott left, Jacen immediately turned to Narcissa, ready for orders. He gave the leader a half-hearted grin as she sent the first team down, encouragement never hurts after all... Right? He followed after Narcissa as the gang split up, feeling the rejuvination the rain brought as they ran across the rooftop. He cleared the gap simply, landing on the other side as Narcissa voiced that they’d finally been detected. He glanced over towards where Magneto was floating, and managing to catch himself in the man’s eyeline. He kept his game-face up, but a invisible shiver ran down his spine. Mutant Boogey-man alright. Jacen’s back-up came in the form of him dropping two stories onto the man who had snuck up behind Narcissa, the man crumpling like an accordian- Before Melting underneath his feet, sliding a yard away in puddle-mode, then reforming. “Well that just doesn’t seem fair.” Jacen huffed, Throwing a punch more for experiment’s sake than with the believe that it would have an effect. It didn’t. MeltyMan’s face legitimately absorbed the punch, Kraken pulling back his fist and pursing his lips half-thinking and half-frowning. Maybe if he could catch the mutant off guar- Before the thought could even finish Jacen had to duck as a molotov flew past him, managing to stay lit in the rain as MeltyMan absorbed it as well. Not the best use of power Jacen had ever seen. Oddly not the worst though. He stayed down as the improvised explosive did it's name proud, grimacing as bit of MeltyMan drifted on the rainwater into the gutter. "Ew" He said, turning to the rest of his team, and the other mooks running towards them.

Alpha - Mall - Bomb Squad, Activate! Raine's hazel eyes widened a bit when her name was used in an apology for using her real name instead of her codename, though the firefly decided it would be better to just let it go for now. She looked between Tsukino and Varis, the latter stepping in to take care of the women that has caused her face injury moments before. Tsukino created a barrier between the two women, pushing them from each other, while Raine looked at the ice-covered hand that was extended towards her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw whatever Tsukino did worked, the two women high-tailing them it away from them and yelling insults back towards them. The brunette gently brushed Varis' hand from her as she turned her sights towards the mall once more, getting the distinct feeling that there was something horrible amiss, despite the radio transmission that assured them that no one was injured in the explosion they'd heard. Tsukino lead the charge from the parking lot inside to the fountain, following Siren's orders for them to all meet up at the fountain. By the time they got there, it looked like all Hell had broken loose. Some of the Omegas, notably Christian had showed up to aid them in their hour of need, Raine's eyes widening when she saw that their leader had been shot. One of the newbies, Allegra, if she could remember correctly, had a shield erected around the group, Tsukino immediately offering to take over that function so they could worry more about getting Bella out of harm's way and into their protective custody. The sooner they got out f this mess, the sooner they could get her the attention she needed. A familiar voice sounded over her comm, which turned out to be Bianca -- the same voice that before told her that they were alright in the wake of the explosion. Unfortunately, she did not bring as good of news this time around. There was a bomb. " Son of a b***h," Raine muttered under her breath, narrowed eyes turning to the various members of the Brotherhood that were now starting to be engaged by members of their own group. It was a difficult situation to keep straight considering she just got there, but thankfully she didn't have to try and figure it out for herself. Hearing her codename called out amongst the chaos, her turned her attentions to Renaissance Man, who instructed her that she should go with the bomb squad to meet up with Bianca. " Got it," she responded with a focused nod, glad that someone was stepping up into the leadership role after the apparent incapacity of their leader. Jogging to close the distance between herself and Aurelie, she was sure that Tsukino would follow suit. She gave a half smile to the blonde, now more glad than ever that they'd been properly introduced before to avoid that awkward moment of silence now, when it really mattered. " Fancy meeting you here! Guess we get to go diffuse a bomb, huh? Not sure I'll be good for anything but detonation, but let's go have a look-see," she called over the sounds of battle, hoping that she would know where they were supposed to go.

Alpha - Inside the Mall - Unexpected Party Guests Tara grinned slightly when Lexi continued with her taunting of Toad's apparent preference for blondes, glad that at least they could try and distract him a bit from his task at hand. Whatever that task may be. If things hit the fan, she would have to be careful that she didn't bring the entire building down. From her readings of the area through her own powers, she would have to monitor the structural integrity of the building considering the explosions that had already occurred -- the last thing she needed was to be responsible for burying them all underneath the roof. There was already some fighting going on as Tsunami and Railgun were already engaging the Pyro, seeming to have the perfect powers to take that on. However, the fact that they had a gun to her leader's head wiped the smile from her lips, brown eyes narrowing in concentration as she waited to see what would result. Some of the Omegas appeared on the scene, Tara actually glad that they were there. By her quick counts, there were only a few of them -- where was everyone else? One of them levels a gun on the blue chick that had their leader within their sights, unheard words ending in the ringing of a gunshot. Their target was dispatched by the blue chick as several more Brotherhood members erupted from the surrounding shops, chaos once more dominating her line of sight. Still, there was a warning that they should not kill, only incapacitate. A knot formed in the pit of her stomach, the earth manipulator none to happy that they had to exercise temperance in the midst of the battle their enemies started. As Toad made his disappearance, she attempted to hinder his progress with her powers, causing the ground beneath his hops to shift in an attempt to trip him up. Unfortunately, as he got further away, the less she was able to do, still not wanting to venture out from behind the shield that one of their own was still maintaining. Some more of their number showed up, just in time for news that on top of the Brotherhood, they were also facing a bomb threat. " Ok, these guys have officially pissed me off," she growled, her name being called out in a string of orders capturing her attention. She turned around to see Leo calling for her to go with him. Their goal was just to get their leader and get out of here in one piece, but with each passing moment, that looked less and less likely. " As long as I get to kick that annoying green b*****d's a** along the way, I'm in," she called back to him, moving to close the distance between them as he called out orders to some of the others around them. She had to admit that she was glad not to be on the team going to disarm the bomb -- she was really bad in chemistry. No, she'd be better for the retrieval mission. The beauty of her power was that she could be both offense and defense, should the situation change. " Let's go get our leader -- I'll follow your lead," she said simply to Leo, hands balling into fists as several slabs of debris from around the area started to float over in their direction, ready to be thrown around or used as a shield depending on how it went.

Omega: X-Jet // Rooftops // Courthouse -- There's Always Something The Omegas made their way across the rooftop, the X-Jet getting further and further behind them as the sounds of chaos and battle drew near. She was hardly surprised by anything anymore, but that still didn't make her any less upset by the notions that the Brotherhood thought they could just herd the humans like cattle and dispose of them so willingly. What was even more shocking was the sight of the Morlocks emerging from their sewery dominion, Kerrigan releasing a curse from under her breath. The last time they'd dealt with the Morlocks, it hadn't gone too well, as most of their previous missions tended to go -- she was hoping never to see them again, especially in such numbers. Her green eyes travelled over to their leader, already seeing the blonde's head working to form a plan. She liked working under Narcissa's commands - the woman could come up with a strategy in the blink of an eye. The more seasoned X-men, however, were already reacting to the situation. Cyclops made his way down to the crowds, while clouds started to gather overhead, no doubt the work of their own weather witch. As she heard herself addressed, however, Kerrigan slipped into battle mode, distractions no longer mattering to her. She nodded when her name was placed with a group of others, charged with freeing the civilians from the Brotherhood's grasp. While only one of the Brotherhood was acting as jailer, she had no doubt that as soon as their presence was known, more of Magneto's cronies would come join the party. At least there were 6 of them…hopefully, that's all they would need. " Alright kids, let's move," Kerrigan said to those in her group, eyes switching over each of them for a quick glance. She'd never been in battle with some of them before, but if they were going to be on this team, there was no time like the present to see what they could do. Her gaze finally landed on Avalanche, the redhead quickly determining that trying to get too close too quickly would no doubt end in a long fall underground. They needed some way to neutralize his powers first -- that shouldn't be too hard with Ace on their side. She started towards the fire exit, glancing back over her shoulder as they neared their point of entry. " Ace, we'll get you close enough -- can you take that guy's powers down a few notches?," she turned to the girl, blinking a bit as the rain did not subside, but instead got stronger. That was going to make things all the more fun, but at least the fires were out. Her eyes then turned to Psyche, giving one of her older teammates a quick nod. " If you wouldn't mind being our cover fire and eyes from above," at the very least, it would give them one more advantage if the s**t hit the fan. And when the Brotherhood was involved, that was likely to happen any moment now. Rounding her attentions on the other 3 in her group that she had not yet addressed -- Measure, Rave, and Copycat -- she offered them a grin. " Copycat, make sure to grab some good firepower -- we're to cover Ace and make sure she gets close enough to Avalanche to do her thing. Once his powers are neutralized, we need to knock his a** out, take care of other immediate threats and get those civilians out of there. Sounds simple enough, right?" Disappearing over the side of the building, the redhead began descending the fire escape, tossing her hair out of her face. Her boot slipped on the wet fire escape, the redhead quickly reacting to catch herself. Their comms exploded with warnings that their presence was known -- so much for the complete element of surprise. Her boots made a screeching noise against the metal as she slid down the remaining fire escapes, now not afraid to make as much noise. As soon as her feet were on the grounds, she made her way towards the main courtyard, two men coming at her to attack her. One carried a large chunk of pipe, the other laughed as his arm morphed into a large metal sword. Kerrigan stepped back into a defensive position, her eyes darting between the two as they darted forward to assault her at the same time. She managed to duck under a sweep of the sword, twisting around the oncoming pipe which shattered the concrete as it made contact with more force than it should. Maybe the first guy had super strength or something? Utilizing her own momentum, the redhead brought a kick into the sword-man's abdomen, knocking him back a few steps, as her hands closed around the pipe in it's next swing towards her. The force of it caused her to side step slightly to absorb it's momentum, twisting and pivoting around to wrench his weapon away from him, which she quickly swung to the side, hitting the recovering sword-armed man and knocking him back once more. Her feet left the ground as she felt a hit connect with her side, grunting slightly as it still hurt underneath the protection of her suit. Throwing up her arms to block another punch from the apprently super-strong mutant (she had no idea where his allegiances lay), her superior reflexes allowed her to quickly overtake him in hand to hand combat, ending with the man sprawled out on the ground before her. No doubt, the rest of her squad was already on the ground, engaged in equally annoying battles. " Keep pushing forward," she called to them, wanting to make sure that they didn't lose sight of their original mission -- they had to take out Avalanche and get those hostages rescued. Then they could focus on the root of the problem, and taking him down. (posted from phone - apologies for autocorrect mistakes)

ℜ@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεgα- The bigger they are, the bigger the target Through Solaris' command, Rave was assisting in the hostage situation with Knoxx calling the shots. His route to the ground was a bit more direct than hers, she chose the fire escape and he just jumped off the roof and used his energy to slow himself down to a safe landing speed as he neared the ground. The low visibility of the heavy rain would hinder him and his preference to fight at a distance even with his goggles- a sudden lash at his face cut his thought process short. A few feet from him stood a bloated man with multiple whip-like protrusions from his arms and an unnaturally skinny head. While he would have loved to 'surgically remove' the whip that cut his face, they were not supposed to severely injure/disfigure anyone, not that it usually stopped some of the Omegas, but Cyclops was here with them this time. He chose not to attempt another use of whips like in the Morlock tunnels because they had more pressing matters to attend to. Leion held his hand forward and made a blinding flare of light, his eyes shielded by his goggles thanks to Forge. Hearing the Morlock scream, he made a burst forward and delivered a gut punch with the momentum, a little tactic he had learned in a class with Wolverine, well not so much learned as experienced first-hand. As the Morlock crumpled to the ground, he heard Knoxx shout out to keep forward. So he headed in her direction, it was best they stick together than get separated and have the plan fail. Omega - War Zone: Knoxx's Group - Toxophilite Madison didn't look at Solaris when she started talking. She heard the older females voice, but her eyes were set out on the stage in front of her. Cyclops bounded across the rooftops almost immediately, and she could see hoards of people in the streets. Morlockes came from all the crevices and the Brotherhood wasn't far at all. "Hmm," said the girl twisting her neck around when she heard her name. "I'm anywhere you people need me. ...but, yeah, I'll take care of it from up here," she said, giving Knoxx a slight nod at her request. The people on the ground wouldn't even see her coming. The girl twisted the psi-blade she had formed before around in her hand. "I'm reminding you now, though, that these things," she brandished the blade, "go from sharp to sharper." She was warning her, more or less. She could certainly subdue any Morlocke that came their way, but it probably wasn't going to be pretty. She preferred it when she didn't have to worry about collateral damage. Psyche wasn't running around with electric arrows or things with boxing gloves on the end like some cheap Hawkeye impersonator. Still, she remembered what happened last time one of the team killed a sewer dweller. She wanted to make another little joke at Covet about her lucking out and getting to go to the Scarlet Witch, but everybody had become so stoney so quickly that even she couldn't manage it. Her little smirk had all but disappeared, and Maddy could only let out a sigh when the rain started. She absolutely hated shooting in the rain. It got in her eyes, it made the bow slippery, and it just completely limited her visibility. She had never liked Ororo much. Just because she was an African queen didn't mean that she couldn't be stupid. Why the downpour didn't stop immediately was beyond her. Maddy sped off with Knoxx, Kraken, Rave, and Ace leaning over the tall building that the team had just bounded off of. Almost immediately the fighting started, and out of the corner of her eye she saw a fireball rise up right next to Jacen. The Molotov cocktail, as she assumed it was, seemed to have been thrown by an inhumanly tall and skinny man, bright green hair topping his head. As the man's hand moved upward with another bottle in his grasp, Maddy's bow was raised and aimed in one quick move. She saw the rag lit and the thing's hand raised, which was enough validation for her to let loose the purple blade. It sped through falling rain like a bolt, shattering the bottle it had been aimed at. There was another flash of orange light as the cocktail exploded in the Morlocke's hand, dowsing him in the fire and gas. The scream was low and sickening, like gargling. Maddy looked away as she thought up another blade. She should've just shot him in the head.Let's go downtown and talk to the modern kids./ They will eat right out of your hand/ using great big words that they don't understand.

Team: Alpha's Winter WolfLocation: As Varis had his hand brushed away he walked with the girls as they neared the fountain he nodded to each Alpha in turn as he saw them. He was unsure as to what to do or say since he was new to the crew. "Oi what is the plan from here anyone know?" He asked looking to each of the members he was sure had been involved in this for a while, as he waited he caught movement here and there and while he made notes of it he never actually acted on it, in fact he allowed his gloves of ice to melt from around his hands. He looked for Siren in particular since she was the leader of his team and he hadn't seen her since she and Narcissa had almost had a fight back at the mansion.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The starry eyes fade as it dawns on you, Nothing is guaranteed You are a part of the great divide, the chosen, or the frozen ((OOC: Sorry about the crappy post guys bad few days))
