Rin walks into the stadium for the tournament "Wow, first tournament. I'm so exited haha!" He said happily as he looked around at all the people there.
The sounds of cheering, shouting, and applause could be heard before Satoshi managed to get within a mile of the stadium. It seemed the tournament was getting ready to start, and he arrived just in time. He wasn't worried in the slightest about who he'd be sparring against; it was the last thing on his mind. After training so vigorously, he was only looking for one thing: progress. His training, all of his hard work, would be put to the test. Casually walking into the stadium, he observed some of the contestants. Of all the people who were there, he expected Ryouichi to participate. However, he noticed that there weren't many Shinobi participating in this event, and that disappointed him. Finding a spot among the other contestants to call his own, he stood still, his arms crossed over his chest, and eyes closed. He tuned out the noises of the crowd, focusing only on himself, his thoughts; mentally preparing himself for what was to come.

Cecilia arrived at the academy, breathing in and out quickly, trying her best to catch her breath. Its a good thing she was the second to fight. She really needed some time to just breathe and get it all in the fact that she'd be facing off to one of these people. This was probably the best oppurtunity she had to train and try to learn off everyone else, so it was only natural she'd try and join in. Again, the feeling of being nervous returned as she saw all different faces of people chattering. She was never very good at fighting, she was always one of the worst. She just hoped she would do alright, and not embarrass herself infront of millions. That would be humiliating. Even so, she didn't really like the fact of harming others either. Even if she did, she hoped she could help out on recovering, but she figured either way, she'd be the one losing. Still, she hoped her opponent will be alright, on the fact of being healthy and being ok with going up against a horrible fighter. She just hoped someday, she could become a better fighter and make her parents proud, up there in heaven.

"Welcome everyone!" this was greeted by a hearty round of applause, more to the fact that the Hokage was speaking, and the level of excitement in the crowd was extraordinary. It wasn't often the folks of Konohagakure got to witness their shinobi in actions, there were even a select few citizens placing bets on the battles. Ibara spoke again. "There are a few rules for this tournament, to ensure not only the combatants safety but the safety of the spectators as well. The first rule is there is to be no A-ranked or higher jutsu to be used. Use of such jutsu will be an automatic disqualification." a few boos rained from the crowd but it was more disappointment than disapproval. A-ranked and higher jutsu were spectacular and some of the spectators were hoping to see some of them, but they were also too dangerous for this many people in a confined area.
XXXXXThe Hokage continued. "If the participant isn't timely in arriving on the battlefield they will be disqualified*" The hokage smiled as he prepared the next statements. "Other than the above two rules there is no restrictions, use whatever you wish, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Bukijutsu, Fuuinjutsu, what ever your heart desires." The hokage listened to the crowd roar approval and waited for it to simmer down before speaking for the final time. "The rewards for winning will be double the AC for the spar credit. Loser will receive the same AC x2 ( Normal chakra gain for 1 spar ) and 500,000 gaia coins from me personally.)" The loud, annoying screech of feedback from the microphone disturbed Satoshi's current state, flickering his eyes towards the Hokage as he began speaking. After the rules and rewards were presented, the tournament was officially initiated. The crowd's applaud was loud, slowly dying down as the giant monitor on the screen turned on, displaying the first two contestants. It was only a matter of luck, that he would be going up in the first round of the tournament. However, he wasn't complaining. The sooner, the better. Satoshi stretched his arms, having them rest at his sides as he casually approached the battlefield. His opponent was already waiting for him; his appearance matching the image on the monitor. He was a Genin, yet Satoshi never saw him before, until now.

Good luck," it said, a large grin very uncharacteristic of the original on its face. "Now let's get this thing over with. Wouldn't want to keep these good people waiting eh?" It laughed before dashing at the one called Satoshi, still laughing as it intended to start things off with a simple uppercut into the stomach, followed by a series of random kicks and punches. Of course the odds of anything actually connecting was pretty low considering it was just a simple lightning clone, but doing actual damage wasn't the goal here. It was just a safe way for Katsuya himself to learn something about his opponent without having to actually put himself in harm's way.

Satoshi nodded silently in response. He wasn't one for much talking during an event like this, preferring to take the time to analyze his opponents instead. His carefree attitude was an interesting tactic, usually a way of lowering one's guard, but Satoshi knew better than that. He adjusted his body into a battle-ready stance, preparing for his opponents assault. Katsuya lunged forward, and to Satoshi's surprise, he was barely able to keep up with him. Before he knew it, a fist connected with his stomach, slightly lifting him up from his feet, while also sending electric shocks upon contact which coursed through his torso. Satoshi winced in pain, quickly pulling himself together; leaning back and using the force of Katsuya's punch to bound off of his feet, avoiding the rest of the attacks his opponent was following up with. Landing on his hands, Satoshi pushed himself back up to his feet, skidding to a halt, several feet away from his opponent. He's fast. Before his opponent could make any more advances, Satoshi retrieved a few Kunai, channeling them with chakra to improve their speed and accuracy, lowering the chances of evasion supremely. Aiming to hinder Kastuya's mobility and speed, two kunai were flicked from each hand; two for the right leg, and two for the left. The electrical pain within his torso began to subside. Raiton chakra... Withdrawing the sword from his back, Satoshi readied himself, giving his body time to recover from the electrical shocks.

Considering the fact that it only had one-tenth of his own fighting potential that was pretty surprising. It was probably because it kept his speed in that case then, but judging from Satoshi's reaction he'd gotten a little bit of information on him. Whatever his specialty was, Taijutsu wasn't it. He was also slightly faster than his opponent could react it seemed. Katsuya bit his lip, a habit of his whenever he was either thinking or frustrated. At the moment he was both. He'd found out a little about the guy, but not his strengths. Something he needed to know. Just stick to simple Taijutsu clone. I may not know any techniques but your speed can keep him on his toes. Force him to reveal his strengths and make him believe my specialty is Taijutsu if you can.
━━As Katsuya's mind was racing, his clone was reacting to Satoshi's counterattack. He jumped away to avoid any of its follow-up attacks, and before it could give chase there were a pair of kunai racing towards him at speeds too fast for it to avoid. I can't let him destroy me yet! Not until I gain some more intel! It thought this as it brought its hands together into a single seal, creating another clone directly in front of it to take the kunai. The clone vanished in a shower of sparks that hid the original clone from view. Using the sparks for cover it jumled through the them, sliding across the ground toward Satoshi to kick his legs out from under him. At the same time it created yet another clone above them to perform an axe kick towards the back of his head.

Katsuya successfully defended himself from the Kunai, by creating a clone in front of him to take the blow. With the speed of which the Kunai were flying and the distance between them, it would have been impossible to do anything against it, even the creation of a clone. In any normal circumstance, he'd be hit. Still, by some glorious act of a deity above them, he managed to perform the clone technique in time to protect himself. The hot, smoky air that emitted from the clone shortly after its dispersal, slightly obstructed Katsuya from view, but not by much, considering he knew where he was. Crouching low and slamming his palm on the ground just as Katsuya appeared through the smoke, a large number of explosion tags surrounded his hand in a cluster. Streaming towards Katsuya who was now sliding towards him, it would make it rather easy for the tags to surround his legs and explode. From his position, a shadow appeared above him, which he could see from the ground. An aerial attack? Katsuya managed to create another clone above him for a surprise attack. Channeling chakra through the sword in his other hand, he threw it upward, the speed and accuracy comparable to when he threw the Kunai; but at a far closer range than the last time. Using his feet and free hand, he propelled himself backward to avoid recoil from the explosion, awaiting to see what damage he managed to inflict on Kastuya.

━━As the first clone slid towards its target the it took note of a large number of paper tags streaming towards him. With there being such a large number, they were simple enough to spot. It was also impossible not to notice Satoshi slamming his hand against the ground, so that gave the clone a second or two to react before it would become little more than a mark on the ground. As it slid it activated another jutsu, causing it to go from sliding to becoming an extremely quick strand of lightning of lightning in a second. This strand of lightning chased after the retreating Satoshi with an incredible speed above anything that he could manage, and since he had jumped back there would be no time for him to jump to the side. Even worse, considering the way he jumped he had taken his eyes off of the clone, so probably wouldn't even notice anything until it was too late. That was the theory at least, and as long as everything went its way then it would succeed in striking the genin, shocking and paralyzing him for a moment. The second clone, on the other hand, failed and was struck by the sword racing towards it.
━━Katsuya ran towards the end of the stands, already making the hand seals for his next jutsu before he jumped into the air behind Satoshi. Still in the air, he pointed his hand at the boy. Out of his hand he shot a powerful beam of lightning five meters wide towards him. If he had managed to dodge the technique from the first clone then this still still had a high chance of connecting, considering Katsuya would be able to see where Satoshi dodged to, if he even managed to dodge in the first place.

Passives • Elemental Specialist: You are only able to have one (1) chosen chakra element. Your elemental ninjutsu possess greater power, allowing them to overwhelm techniques of the same element and rank, and preventing them from succumbing to elemental weaknesses. You begin with two (2) additional ninjutsu slots, and earn an additional three (3) ninjutsu slots whenever you rank up. • Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at gennin, C at chunnin, B at Jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below. • Raiton Prodigy: Raiton techniques have their strength greatly increased, overwhelming all techniques one rank above the one he used. All except fuuton techniques, although he can overwhelm ones of the same rank. This dedication to Raiton techniques however leaves his Maruton neglected, making those techniques cost an additional ten chakra. • Godspeed: Moderate increase to speed. • Espionage: As the heir to the Azuma clan Katsuya's abilities in stealth are unmatched, even allowing him to go as far as to completely erase his presence and any killer intent coming off of him. His abilities in this are so proficient that he can go unnoticed even by those up to a rank above his own.

XXXXXIbara raised his eyebrow. This spar had been quite good to this point, both shinobi showing that they were very capable. He was slightly worried about this latest attack though. If it connected with Satoshi it could do some serious damage to him. Ibara frowned as his eye brow lowered and watched Satoshi very closely his sharingan spinning into place to be able to predict if the young Uchiha would be able to get out of the way of the attack. If not he'd have to intervene and extremely quickly.

Ryouichi sighed as he watched the fight from the stadium. As the fight progressed he got a stronger and stronger feeling that these spars were going to end in him having to make sure some people weren't completely hurt. He smiled a bit however, and didn't let himself worry too much. So, he sat ontop of Ibuse and continued to watch.
As Shikatsu watched the two genin spar, he remember how he used to spar when he was a genin. He wondered what they were thinking of doing next, no doubt each having an ace up their sleeve. He glanced over at Ibara and saw he activated his sharingan, probably in case he needed to intervene. He turned back to the fight, knowing everything would be fine with two medical ninjas present.

As Satoshi leaped back, safe from the clone above who was destroyed by his sword, he prepared himself for Katsuya's counter attack, and the explosion from his previous technique. His eyes never left the target in front of him, for he assumed he had another clone trick up his sleeves. It seemed to be the only thing he knew. Clones. It became clear that this Katsuya character was either too afraid to confront him directly, or he was up to something. He was able to avoid his attack once again, but instead of using a clone as before, his body just transformed into a strand of lightning. Satoshi was ready, though he had to admit, Katsuya was keeping him on his toes, but he would remain composed regardless. The air stilled around him briefly before his body vanished, just before the lightning bolt could make contact, flashing through a mask of air which had taken his place. He appeared on the other side of the stadium, in a position that allowed him to spot another Katsuya figure, attacking him with a Raiton projectile jutsu. Given his range, it gave him more than enough time to defend himself from the attack. Using his body as a heat source, Satoshi molded his chakra until it became visible, expanding it around him in a fiery sphere, protecting him from the Raiton technique. In addition, because of the match in power, both techniques were cancelled out, leaving Satoshi practically unscathed.
Satoshi didn't know how a clone managed to get behind him, for he kept watch of every single clone, Katsuya, whatever, on the battlefield. He could assume though, that this one came from the stage, or the entrance of the stadium. This is the first time I've seen anyone overuse such a basic technique, such as the cloning technique. He's decent with using it, to say the least. It was time to give his opponent a taste of his own medicine. But first, he'd have to find out whether this was a clone, or the real Katsuya. Ninjutsu or close combat wouldn't work, he could simply create another clone to protect himself or overwhelm Satoshi. He'd resort to using Genjutsu, as attacking the mind seemed to be his only option at this point. Channeling his chakra into the cerebral nervous system of his target, his mind was at the mercy of Satoshi. Flooding chakra into his eyes, he would be able to alter what Kastuya saw, who was currently looking at Satoshi, having to pinpoint his position before even releasing the projectile ninjutsu. As the Genjutsu was activated, several false attackers, replicating the image of Satoshi appeared, one of them taking Satoshi's current position as the real Satoshi disappeared due to the Genjutsu's effects. With Satoshi practically out of sight, it would make it easier to move around undetected. The servants moved ever closer to Katsuya, threatening to attack.

The Shinobi will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the Shinobi will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
• Kyuuka no Jutsu [ Flame Sphere Technique ] :: C Rank Using the body as a heat source, the user molds Chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more Chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating.
• Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu [ Mist Servant Technique ] :: D Rank (C Rank power, due to class discipline.) — Sight Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu is a Genjutsu techinque that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual Shinobi is able to remain hidden and throw Kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servant’s illusion body but not destroy it.
