As i finish jotting down ideas for my wreath i notice that my desk is so messy. Ribbons lying everywhere, holly and pine all over the place and notes from my book all over the desk. I tidy up my desk and begin working. I pick up some holly and pine with one hand, pick up my wand and make a circular motion in the air and say out loud, Corona Foliorum. The holly and pine entwine together and slowly form a large green plain wreath. That's the base, I say to myself. And now for the rest...

Slytherin. First year.
With lights,ribbons and bows on the table Dorian proceeded with the task.
He grabbed the holly and the pine with one hand. He wanted something him...something unique, something colourful.Gripping the wand with his left hand,softly, like an artist does his brush, he proceeded to draw a circular motion in the air around the plants and then touched them with the tip of the wand." corona foliorum". He murmured and saw before his eyes as both plants entwined and went around in an almost perfect circle. The holly leaf contrasted the green needles of the pine, he observed and smiled.
Dorian proceeded to add ribbons and to place some lights around and through the leaves and needles. It was nothing fancy, but it was colourful. The silver and green ribbons, the white bows and the lights gave it a rather curious appearance, which was what Dorian enjoyed.

hufflepuff
waking up, a little sleepilly she looked around to see as to what they where doing, though it was hopless she didnt know whom was doing third and fouth year stuff so she riffeled through some notes hoping to find a clue as to what was next in the lesson.
(sorry ive been gone so long D smile

(@Blair: She's never divided up the lessons based on year. Everyone does the same thing. This is a new lesson that can be found on page 26.)

Seventh year Slytherin studentDaemon smiled as he was spoken to. "I admittedly may have not kept to the rules. I added colour with the 'Multicorfors' charm. I hope the professor won't mind. The rest was a case of drawing the pines with my wand to have it follow the spell."

Aludra Yvette... Aludra nodded her head and kept looking at the wreath. It was very beautiful for straying away from the rules. "I'm sure the Professor wont mind too much, its stunning." She grinned as she hauled her arm load back back to her desk and set it all down in a clump. "There we go... now." She took out her wand and pointed it at the holly and pine on her desk, making a circular movement as she said "Corona Foliorum." The pieces of holly and pine seemed to infuse together and swirl to make a marvolously blended wreath. ...6th Year Slytherin

To finish off my wreath i pick up a handful of golden ribbons and begin tying them into knots on the wreath. I insert some acorns into the gaps of the wreath to make it look more pretty. I sprinkle some glitter on the wreath to give it a sparkly look. I notice i have a few white candles lying on my desk and i place them in the corners of the wreath.
Done, I say out loud.
Oh wait. I point my wand at one of the candles and say, Incendio.
I do the same thing with every other candle and say, Now i'm done.

Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Nam came in dizzy and unfocused. He sat dazed for awhile, trying to put together the lesson in his head, which was quite pathetic considering the instructions were simple. He didn't feel much like making a beautiful piece of the art at the moment. Especially one that was meant to represent him. But that was the assignment. He sighed, rising slowly as an old man with sore joints and wobbling to the supplies just as feebly. He took the holly and pine, and stood contemplating the rest. He did not want to use any of it. It was all so pretty and conventional. He felt... grotesque and abnormal.
He took his seat and pulled out his wand. "Corona foliorum." The pine barely grew half an inch. He tried again and again, only able to make it grow a couple inches at a time. When he was finished it looked quite bare, except for a few massive growths of green poking off to the side here and there. "Haha, it's all bark and no bite. It really is like me." He thought it was fitting. It looked like a horrible mockery of the lesson. It was a detestable failure... He threw it onto the stone floor far from any wood and said in an icy hateful tone not his own, "Incendio." It was a miracle he got it to work, or simply due to the fact that all he wanted was to see it burn. He watched smugly, scared and despaired as the flames licked at his pitiful creation.

Aludra Yvette... With her lush wreath sitting beautifully on her desk, Aludra took a few bells and stuck them inside of the wreath from sight. She also tied a lovely crimson and green ribbon on top of the front of the wreath. "Now for a bit of color." she smirked as she brought out her wand. With a few taps, jabs, and waves the bow was alternting colors every few seconds and the bells she had hidden inside of the wreath were playing christmas tunes.  Cloud pulled out a clipping of holly, and inhaled deeply. She loved the smell of winter pines. She pulled out her wand and put it to the clipping. She spoke the spell softly.
Corona foliorum.
The clipping twisted gracefully, and formed itself into a perfect circle. The needles filled out just enough to cover the wreath.
Alright...let's see...
She pulled out some decorations from the tub and waved her wand. Four ribbons, electric blue and silver, weaved throughout the wreath back and forth. Another wave of her wand caused tiny teardrops of everlasting ice, glistening like little icy jewels, to crop up around the wreath. Cloud picked it up and admired her work silently.

Getting up from my desk I headed to the front of the class to retrieve the items to design my own wreath, gathering an arms full of holly, pine, ribbons, and other items I headed back to my desk to work.
Sitting back down at my table with the various items Professor Zillah had provided I picked up a section of holly, and held my wand steady before gracefully crossing it down diagonally with a small flourish, followed by a quick tap to the plant. "Corona Foliorum" I said.
The small segment of plant twisted and looped around until it made a definitive circle. It then proceeded to double in size, sprouting new needles until not a piece of stem remained uncovered.

After several more minutes of working diligently my wreath was finished. The two wings were made of interwoven white ribbon crumbled to look eagle feathers, the two round objects at the top center are flowers shaped from red ribbon to resemble roses. The central symbol the ‘A’ is made of inter-woven holly and pine wrapped tightly with silver colored ribbon, the entire symbol is surrounded by a holly wreath. Inside the empty space of the ‘A’ the words ‘Nothing is true, everything is permitted’ slowly fades in and out of sight.
((For those of you who have not guessed I have Assassin’s Creed on the brain, I just recently got Brotherhood and have been playing it quite frequently that is the reason my activity here as been slow as of late.))

Dorian was content with his creation and knew it would be a reminder of perseverance, as it was his first year--so he would not push himself. He got up and walked around the room, admiring the others' creations. He smiled at them and continued to admire the wreaths,making mental notes for future projects.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra looked over at Kenneth's wreath and her mouth dropped. "Wow, yours is beautiful... but I'm not familiar with that sign." She racked her brain trying to remember if it was something of the wizrding world. Then she remembered he was fond of muggle things, so it was more then likely it was from that. ...6th Year Slytherin ((Thats also why Im beating your butt in posting lol))

Beaming at Aludra’s comment I said, ”Thank you sweet heart, I love how yours plays Christmas carols.” Noticing that Aludra seemed to trying to figure out what the symbol was I said, ”You won’t find that symbol anywhere in the Wizarding war, it’s from a Muggle game called Assassin’s Creed 2, I played it a lot over the last summer break, and I recently learned that a new one was coming out, so it’s been on my brain for a while.”

Aludra Yvette... "Oh, so your interested in games?" she smiled. Finally, she was getting somewhere in her prying nature. "So, is that something you would like to get for christmas?" Aludra laid down her wreath and turned in her chair to look at him more. She needed at least a hint on what he wanted. ...6th Year Slytherin
