Troa smirked, pointing at the trash can and froze it. Lifting his hand, it lifted it's self higher into the air. "I can pull summin like that too, though it's not as simple." He added with a smirk. "Now I just gotta figure out where to go..." He muttered.

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah had left his room and wandered down the halls of the campus, finding nothing of interest. He had seen only a few people here and there, but, for the most part, the campus seemed deserted. He shrugged it off and decided to see what the campus had outdoors. It wasn't long before he found himself entering into the gardens. He paused a moment, noting its clean look: neatly trimmed bushes, even rows, precise placement of the plants. He walked idly along the path trying to find a decent place to sit and perhaps sketch. This particular garden did not hold the amount of vantage points he had hoped for, but he would make it work.

Wandering about the gardens idly, Aurora was not usually one to lose her sense of direction. Especially when one had already attended the school for a full two years. It was just that she had never found herself among the lucious gardens, and instead spent her free time among the waters of the beach. Yet, she enjoyed new places and people, so she wouldn't worry overly much, at least until she found her stomach growling. So here she was, randomly studying the petals of flowers and branches of bushes until she spotted another teenager, who couldn't possibly be much younger older or younger due to the very fact that it was clear he was no teacher. And he was drawing? What a wonderful quality in a complete stranger! Excitedly, the siren approached the boy from behind, not realizing that he may be startled, and tapped his shoulder as she asked, "Are you an artist?"

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah had finally found a decent place to sit that allowed him to glimpse the garden from a few varying perspectives. With sketchpad in hand, a stencil placed behind his ear, he was about to move off the path and into the fresh, trimmed lawn when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He jumped slightly, thinking he had been alone. He turned to face this newcomer, finding a pretty girl with striking features. "Aspiring, but yes," he replied, a light tone to his voice.

Smiling at the man's answer, Aurora responded quickly, "Really?" Glancing about for a brief moment to take in the beauty of the garden. It's naturally sculpted leaves and flowers would be a wonderful place for an artist to recieve inspiration. "I take it you do scenic art?" she asked curiously, before realizing she hadn't even introduced herself. "Oh, I'm sorry! I suppose you think me rude, huh?" she began, extending her hand happily as she continued, "I'm Aurora Solindo."

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah accepted the girl's offered hand, firmly, yet tenderly. Aurora Solindo, he thought, placing the girl's name into his memory. The name suits her, he noted. "Elijah Avila," he grinned. "But you can call me Eli." In response to her question he answered, "My subject matter is a bit...diverse." He chuckled lightly. He never stuck to drawing just one subject matter. In his artpad he rarely sketched the same thing twice. He was constantly attempting new things, attempting to take a more creative approach each time.

Once her hand was back at her side, Aurora mentally noted the boy's name, even mentioning it aloud for her own reference. "Elija? Never have I heard it before, but I like it." Stilll holding an upbeat smile, the siren listened to Elija's description of his art, prompting a bob of her head in understanding. "Choices are nice." It seemed most of the artisans and merchants back home specialized in one thing, so for her, it was wonderful to be among diversity and choice. "So, Eli the artist, why have you come to Reed's?" Once she spoke, she waited for his response with interest, as she never found questions to be rude or prying; although her sister would disagree and lectured her often about being a busy body.

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah smiled at Aurora's reaction, amused. He noticed she spoke in a very formal manner. "That they are," he agreed with her opinion regarding choices. "I like having options. Not being limited, or tied down." Eli enjoyed how bluntly she asked questions. He found it quite refreshing. "I'm here to learn more about my powers, and how to control them," he said somewhat shyly. He didn't like to admit he had difficulty controlling his powers, but he decided a straightforward question deserved a straightforward answer. "What about you?" he asked, directing the focus of the conversation towards her. //ooc: Haha, sorry!//

Agreeing with Eli's response of choices, Auora listened to his answer to her last question. That made sense, as every student came for some special reason or another. Nobody at Reed's was a normal human after all. His second question allowed an immediate answer, as she had no problem with-holding information. "Well, as a siren, this was one of the only schools that I could go to without my family being worried. And I love exploring new things!" She smiled excitedly, back-tracking to his earlier statement of powers. "Oh! What sort of talents do you have mister Eli?"

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Ah, a siren. That explains it, Elijah thought, referring to her unnaturally stunning features. Elijah laughed softly at her excitement about exploring new things. It's exactly the reaction he might have expected. Aurora definitely had a bubbly personality. "Well, I'm a, uh," he paused briefly, rubbing the back of his neck out of nervous habit. "A warlock." Elijah has always been somewhat embarrassed by his powers. Some refer to them as talents, encouraging them, but growing up, others often referred to him as a sort of freak. His peers back in England typically avoided Elijah altogether. //ooc: Okay! (: //

"A warlock?" she mused, trying to place the term. There were shamans and such magic users back at Aurora's home, but the title was an above water term that she had yet to completely familiarize herself with. Nontheless, she was able to recognize it as a sort of magician, and the siren was able to go on without much trouble. "Ah! Magic! How interesting. Are there many in your family that practice magic?"
