She paused immediately, body tense, knees bent and ready to move. Then the walls were moving, changing and altering the path she was on. Had she triggered this? Marlene moved so as to not get squashed by the solid walls but even as she did this, she heard a large crack. Looking up, blue eyes found the walls had broken off a section of themselves and now large rocks were falling down at her. Marlene sheathed her sword as she bolted forward, dodging to the sides when she could and once having to actually jump up on a still falling rock and bounce to another behind her and then back again. Landing on a rock already landed, she looked up, the walls stilling and no more rocks falling down at her. Marlene stood carefully and waited for a brief moment before she continued on. Her path now altered and realisation of the potential danger, Marlene pressed on carefully, her posture still as it was before but muscles more tense.

Kira now needed to learn how to make chakra strings so he could control Kagekouken in battle. He focused his chakra, and strings that were made of chakra began to conect to major areas on the body of the puppet. (1/2)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx▼ x S u n a g a k u r exxxxxxxxx[M]arlene saw the walls shiver once more. Again? How did she trigger? Was it simply a random occurrence? So would it mean that there would more falling rocks? Looking up, Marlene's suspicions were assured as the tops of the moving walls peeled off and fell down towards her. Once more, she dashes forward, eyes keeping track of the rocks coming down at her, dodging and trying to not to run into the moving walls. As a speed ninja, she had the advantage of agility so evasiveness was one of her fortes. Marlene went on until the walls stilled once more and the rocks stopped coming down. She paused, recuperating her breath before walking on. Marlene wondered if moving walls and falling rocks were her only obstacle but then she stopped, blue eyes taking in the turn off to her left and just after it - a flag. Carefully, Marlene walked forward, eyes on the walls, waiting for a sign of their alteration. She reached the flag without incident.

Kira had now made and attached chakra strings to his puppet. But it couldn't move very far. Kira needed to train more. Kira walked over to his Kage, and gave her his scroll, asking for three more he could use to train.

She walked with a brisk step, convinced that no matter what she did, events within the maze would occur. So, all she could do was her best to continue on. After turning three corners and walking down a long passage, Marlene heard the sounds of rocks cracking once again. She took off, evading a rock but then stunned as it suddenly exploded. Marlene was thrown through the air, barely landing before another rock came sailing down at her. Mars took off as fast as she could, keeping low to avoid the rocks and their blast radius. It went on like this until the end of the corridor, turning off to the right and the rocks no-longer came sailing down at her. Marlene took a deep breath, regaining her composure and readying herself for whatever came at her next.

Kira opened up his Puppet Taijutsu scroll. He attached his chakra strings to Kagekouken. He watched as the blue string, which only he could see, attached itself to the puppet. It took him a long tiem to attach the strings, as he was only in the first stage of using puppets. (1/4)

Kira began to moved Kagekouken, using both hands. Kagekouken was floating about a couple of inches above the ground. Kira made it go left and right, using pushes and pulls of his hands. Kira then jumped into a tree, and made Kagekouken fly up into another one. Kira smiled. This was working. That was good. (2/4)

Corner followed by corner, and yet more, almost endless corners - and, yes, a number of dead ends too. It was like physically going through what her mind must go through in order to come up with explanations and plans of execution. Only at a far, far slower level. Marlene stumbled - something she has never done in years - and the ground began crumbling. Pitts? She could seriously be injured if she fell. Marlene leaped, just as the ground crumbled down. Hesitantly, Marlene placed one of her feet forward, and the ground again crumbled. Marlene leaped over it, taking out her sword and using it as a guide - testing the ground before her by pressing the tip down into the earth. After a short amount of time, Marlene once more found the ground to be consistently solid, but she still tapped the earth in front of her every two steps as a precaution now.
