I've got a new story. <3
So Diru's touring the US, hmyes?
So my friends and I make plans to go. We're all meeting up at Megan's house, but Megan's going to actually get to her house later. So we get there and her sister shows up and suddenly, despite weeks of planning, decides she has to go. We don't really say much about it, but then Megan gets back.
Turns out she's been bad-mouthing the band all weekend, going on about how they all suck, and they're women, and yadda yadda yadda.
So naturally we boot her out.
But honestly, what's the point of going to see a band if you're just going to be a downer all night? Now I'm questioning all my friends who said that they're cool. Are they doing it just to spare my feelings, or so that we don't have to disagree [God forbid. rolleyes ], or whatever. D:>

Well, I really don't think that my dad likes me listening to any kind of Japanese rock exspeacially Dir En Grey although I'm not totally sure. He's even threatened to take my MP3 player away from me! crying My friends like Dir En Grey which is strange. I thought for sure that they would hate them, but they proved me wrong.

My dad just came by today and he was like "Do you really like this music? I swear it got me climbing the walls!" In other words: He plainly hates Diru crying
And he said "I really don't think you should go to their concert." But I don't give a sh. coz he divorced from mum and lives elsewhere and my mum said I could go so ninja I will go! Hellz yeah!

Okay, ok, ok! I have an update. o__o You know how I said they might hate Diru after they go to their concert? Here's the surprise, first my dad and mom started dissing them. THEN, I kinda explained Kyo and the band to my dad trying to defend them >__>. My dad did some research on them and told me to find lyrics and all, NOW HE LIKES THEM. He said he found Kyo's way of looking at life interesting. o__o I think, that's a good reaction from your parents. My mom's complaining about aches from all the pushing. xD She doesn't seem to care much.
I have hope to go to another concert now. =D

My mum is seemingly, slowly but surely, coming to my side x)
She likes Conceived Sorrow and The Pledge now ^.^!
I also read her the lyrics of Namamekashiki~ and The Pledge and she said they were nicely written (poems) 3nodding

My mom really doesn't care, she's even watched a couple of videos with me. Though out of the Jrock I listen to you can say Diru is not her favourite. lol.
My mom got me the ticket to their concert that was last month as my birthday present.
Alot of my friends love Dir en grey too we're always lending each other each others CDs, DVDs ect..

My mom doesn't really know much about them. I'm glad because I'm afraid if she did I wouldn't be able to listen to them anymore

My mom and dad dont really care for Diru, I tried getting my sister into it, but she didn't really like it all that much. My friends however are the one who got me INTO j-rock in general so we all like it =D

My mom just questions me saying:
"Why do you like music you don't understand?"
(but thats what the translations are for ^_^ wink
My brother loves Diru though!
He likes Die the most, says hes "Badass"
Of course hes badass! Hes Die!

All my mom said was, "Why are they so skinny? Don't their mothers feed them?" and then proceeded to talk about all the dishes she would cook for them (we're Taiwanese, ironically, so I don't know if our food would go over well with Diru as shown by that one video xd ). lawl, i love my mommy.
