Issildia looked at him skeptically then tiredly averted her gaze, "So be it...We hunt a clan of necromancers known as the Ryera, perhaps you have heard of them..."

Issildia leaned against a nearby tree, again resting her palm on the sheathed hilt of her blade, as was her habit when she was stressed and going off of little more than a few hours sleep for the last week.

"We believe that a Ryera necromancer has been trying to kill my friend Streak here...even if it is not a Ryera doing this, It think my methods will prove sufficient to convince one of them to help us lift my comrade's curse."

Issildia's last statement held a lethal edge as her eyes glinted with ill intent. As the azerian would surely guess, an assassin of Anier would be able to convince most anyone to offer up what information they held, even without the proper tools to do so.

"We are to travel into the Aldrene desert and cross it before my friend's time runs out, for he only had three days to counter the curse, before it will resume. Even so this is beginning to look more difficult than I anticipated, for it is said that the Aldrene desert can not be transversed by means of the arcane arts, that we might use to cross, thus it will have to be crossed on foot, with little to no rest during the journey. if we are to make it there within the time limit..."

"Ryyera, yes I have heard of them, but that is the extent of my knowledge. Necromancers of Critarie origin." He nodded at Streak in acknowledgement when he was mentioned. He eyed him carefully, but returned his attention to Issildia.
He listened with concern for Streak as was customary in his kind. "Yes, the desert is tricky in that way, but we may make it. I can run quite fast, and if Streak wouldn't mind staying on my back, I could carry him, but then the matter is you keeping up." he said it frankly, not meaning to offend her. "Well, I could always use my spells to at least refresh you two. The spell is quite useful indeed, you'd be surprised what water can do to the body." He thought for a second "Maybe El's magic could help with the desert. He's an aquamancer, he's the one who taught me my spells." he lifted the sword, and stuck it into the ground so it could stand on its own. Its crystal glinted from the now drying tears.

Streak looked at the water spring. It seemed perfectly clear, but wasn't sure whether he could trust him. Issildia seemed to trust him, but he had already began to lose trust in her after what he saw. He didn't know who to trust.

"I can take care of myself, " said Issildia darkly to Archer,as she narrowed her eyes slightly, "And I assure you, that I can keep pace...Though as to my friend Streak, he can travel as he wishes, but our time is limited and we must get moving."

Issildia stepped away from the tree that she had been leaning on and proceeded to slip of a pair of ebony leather gloves that had been hanging from her weapons belt. As soon as she had them properly on her hands the turned back to Streak and Archer.

"Through the shadow arts of the Celtarie I can take us as far as the village of Altera rather quickly, but through the desert we will be restrained to travel on foot, so...gather your things, " she said looking at both Streak and Archer, "When you two are ready I will be waiting just outside this clearing."

Issildia then inclined her head in the Anierian fashion of polite etiquette, then before she stood from the slight bow her form suddenly vanished in a swirl of shadows. She reappeared just outside of the clearing, barely out of the other's sight. She then waited for the two to finish their preparations for departure.

Archer laughed, realizing what he had done. He rose, and returned Eleazor to his spot in his belt. He strung his bow onto his arm, and stretched. He looked to streak and said in a light tone, "Why hello, I am Archer. I am sorry I haven't introduced myself earlier. Please, let me help you in this quest. I will not continue without your assent." he smiled, put his hands together and bowed.

((I hope so too, whatever your posting im sure its awesome))

(((I hope so too lol, oh well, the other option that we will take if Streak does not post will involve one of the NPC's that I have yet to use. It would explain why Reinsen Nevar did not pursue the characters any further. All I can say is that the NPC that I am thinking of likes Dragons lol. I'm sure you can figure it out from that lol, considering it is part of her title.)))

Streak looked to Archer. "Wait, your Azerian aren't you? Why are you here?" Streak asked. He then looked to Issildia. "I have nothing other than my blade to take." Streak shimmered to Issildia and waited for Archer.

((NO need, although I would enjoy the twist, I think we currently have enough wink )

Archer shook his head, and stood straight again. "I have nthing to live for anymore. I help those who will need it, as I see fit. I am ready to go you two." He walked between them, and kept going for a few yards. He had a wad of water he was playing with like a ribbon through air. "Either of you tired?" he asked, a clever look on his face.

"I am, but I cannot/shall not sleep." Streak said. "And Issildia by the way, why are we in such a rush? I had a strange thought that today was my last chance...or something." Streak asked.

"Why you don't have to. I know an exhuastion relief spell that will work for twent-tree hors. You will be in a deep sleep for an hour afterwards, that is unavidable. I did the spell without you knowing as soon as I entered your camp." The water twisted into a longstrand and ran around circling his fingers.

(((Well I'm still going to throw in a twist. I hope you guys like this new NPC. So without further ado I would like to present ~Adenia Laren~ A woman also known as the Mistress of Dragons~ )))

~~Wing beats could be heard approaching the ashen ruins of Anier. Reinsen Nevar who rode a ebony war destrier at the head of the army wheeled the beast he rode around in at tight circle to face the northern sky. A dark smile crept across his lips as a duo of winged creatures who rode the currents of air high above, suddenly launched themselves into a steep dive.
The first of the creatures had long slender wings, covered in an slick ebony hide that had faint gleaming lines of red that raced down the taught muscles of its back. The beast's neck, matched the slender appearance of it's wings, and it's head bore a narrow snout ,with needle-like fangs adorning it's great maw.

The second creature was twice the size of the first, and much bulkier in appearance. It's hide was a deep roan, and it's wings, though shorter in proportion to the first creature, were broad and decorated with long ebony streaks that ran along the hide covered bone of it's wings. The neck was rather stocky and thick compared to the first creature's, with dark lines much like those on it's wings, running down it's length.
Fangs the length of a warrior's spear, were fanned out along the interior of the beast's mouth. These great teeth were displayed even further as the beast let loose a great and terrible roar, as it fanned back it's broad wings as it neared the ground, it's heavily muscled hind legs shooting out to meet the ground as it landed, it then rather gracefully finished this landing with a flourish of wings as it folded them, it's thick scaled fore legs then coming to rest on the ground as well.

As the smaller creature came to land near the right of the first larger one, a figure could now be seen standing astride the muscled neck of the larger creature.

Reinsen Nevar spurred his war stallion into a loose gallop, finally coming to be only a matter of yards away from the two creatures and the figure standing atop the larger beast.

"Adenia," said Reinsen with a slow smirk, "I have a something that desires your immediate attention..."

The larger of the beasts then lowered itself in a bow, that allow it's rider to leap off with ease. As the beast's rider landed on the ground it then became apparent that it was a woman, dressed in the fashion of a huntress, cloaked in a tough robe like armor, that had slits running up either side of her legs. She had short dark hair that was tinted with red. Her eyes looked almost catlike, bearing a yellow iris, her pupils were unusually elongated, almost to the point of being slits. And along her left arm was a claw like gauntlet that ran from her shoulder to her fingertips where it ended in long steel claws that carried the stains of blood.

The woman of who Reinsen had called Adenia returned Reinsen's smirk, "My dragons were not happy to make a flight over the mountains in the middle of winter Lord Nevar...this had better be good."
Her voice, though obviously female, was rough and imposing.

Reinsen Nevar turned his gaze to the two dragons that Adenia had brought with her, "It concern's my daughter...the fall of Anier will make her actions rash and unpredictable...it will be difficult to control her as I would normally be able to even from a distance"

"Get to the point Reinsen." Adenia said brashly.

Reinsen the averted his cold gaze from the dragons and returned to focus on Adenia, "I want her dead, along any that travel with her...how you kill her dosen't matter Adenia I just want it done...you can tear apart the entirety of the Forgotten Wild if you wish....but I want she and her companions dead..."

Reinsen then wheeled his war stallion around to face the Larovian army as they traveled away from the remains of Anier. "And be quick about it Adenia, I have other things that I wish for you to see to as well..."

He then spurred his war destrier into a gallop and returned to the retrating form of his army, leaving Adinia and her dragons Delhera, and Lyina alone on the icy bank of Lake Veldan.

Adenia then quickly turned back to the larger dragon Delhera and muttered something in an odd language to the two dragons as she leapt onto Delhera's back. The two beasts the leapt into the air, their wing beats echoing across the vast expanse of the Forgotten Wild, ushering in their forthcoming wrath.~~

As Issildia stood outside of the clearing that Archer and Streak were still in, she sharply caught her breath, for in the distance the sound of wing beats could be heard...
"We need to get moving now!" she shouted, her voice plagued with fear.

Archer froze, the water around his hands splashing to the ground. His sensitive ears heard a roar in the distance. "D-dragons? this time of year?" he looked absolutely terrified, and was unable to move. He stared towards the direction he heard them, his mouth agape.
