"It sounds like you've been out here before," Roman said with a smile, reaching to pat Phoenix's neck. The horse tossed his head arrogantly, apparently not very pleased with the feel of the bit, and Roman restrained a grin. "Sorry, boy. I'm not ready to ride with just a halter yet." Returning his attention to Kahlilia, he said, "That sounds great. I'd like to see it."

Emily dismounted and took off the bridle and saddle, allowing Apollo to roam around the area and stretch out a bit. She knew that he wouldn't wander to far off since she would need a ride back to the ranch.
" Yes I would" Emily replied following Keith into his home.

"Cool!" Kahlilia said with a broad smile. Benvolio eagerly began to gallop, in a playful mood. To Kahlilia, in fact, he never really needed orders - he just did his own thing. Hopefully, this wouldn't turn out to be trouble.
She erased the thought from her mind and let the stallion lead her to a wide, open field filled with green grass. Kahlilia slowed him to a trot and observed like an excited child. There were trees and various plants in sight, and it was like a haven in her view. She looked over at Roman and Phoenix, beaming.
Xavier grimaced. "Wow, what a c--t. Makes us guys look bad, hn. Heres a piece of advice - ignore him, or even better, text message him back and tell him to go f--k himself. Heh." He seemed to enjoy taking away this unknown male's masculinity, unsurprisingly. "How did you find that joker?" This was Xavier's form of showing empathy towards females - not really insulting the females themselves, but completely trashing the ex-partner.

Nanana chuckled at Xavier and told him, Highschool.Keith led Emily to the back of his cottage and pushed aside a heavy curtian. The vew opened up to a lovely pond surrounded by weeping willows.

" Oh its so beautiful" Emily said standing next to him and staring at it with wide eyes like that of a child.
She had never seen anything like this except perhaps in a picture. But never in real life or up close for that matter.

Roman's smile was slow and all-encompassing. "It's gorgeous," he muttered. Phoenix tossed his head eagerly, prancing. He wanted to run, and Roman was in no mood to deny him.
Turning to Kahlilia with a quick, charming grin, he asked, "Want to let them run? I promise not to fall off." Which was true. However odd it sounded, he actually had more experience with horses than his sister did - which was why he wasn't afraid to at least try to get Phoenix to open up to him.

Keith smiled proudly at her exclamation and then opened the window. The smell of flowers in bloom and freshly mowed grass drifted in.

Emily leaned over and allowed the scent to over flow her senses. It truly did make her feel as if she was being pulled away from reality and into a dream world.

Keith slipped away silenly, padding down a hall and into his room. Putting a dufflebag on his bed, Keith began folding clothes and putting them inside.

Emily poked her head out of the window and tried to allow herself a better view of the pond. Yet it was only then that she realized that Keith had gone somewhere else in the cottage.
Best not wonder off She thought sitting on the couch and stared at the ceiling.

"Good idea." Kahlilia said to Roman. Benvolio was a hyper ball of energy, and it would be good to tire him out while she still could. She laughed in response to what Roman said next, promising not to fall off. She felt comfortable, like a snug animal in it's den. Content, and in a way unwilling to leave, but also very much aware of the world outside. She smiled at Roman, feeling the fainest blush creep up in her face. Normally, she didn't talk very much, but without really being aware of it being here had opened up her shell. She felt good about it, she felt comfortable, she felt a lot of things, but the one that tugged at the back of her mind was the undeniable charm and something else sneaking up on her heart like a hunting lion.
She was about to signal Benvolio to gallop when he began to canter. She was startled by his sudden movement, but held it back because she didn't really feel like figuring out how the horses would respond to fear. She looked back for a second, giving a quick wave to Roman before Benvolio picked up speed towards what looked like a tiny pond, if such a thing as the stallion picking up any more speed was possible. Kahlilia felt she was going in hyperspeed, riding on an ecstatic Ben.
"Oh. Highschool - theres your problem." Xavier said 'theres your problem' in a mocking sort of voice. He had graduated maybe eight months ago and was already talking trash about the four years spent in what he had called 'the pit of hell.' He had yet to go to college, which was one of the underlying reasons his aggrivated parents had transferred him to this camp. Really, he didn't think about it much anymore, and bringing it back brought the simmering anger with it. "Can I see your phone?" He asked her, outstretching one hand.

Roman sat back, laughing, and urged Phoenix to catch up. The horse surprised him by throwing in a little buck before taking off at a surprisingly smooth gallop to catch up to Benvolio. "Go on, boy," he muttered to the horse, "show me what you've got." Phoenix responded with a snort and an extended stride. Without too much pushing, he caught up to Kahlilia and tossed her a grin. "Seems to me that the problem is going to be getting them to stop!" he called over the sound of thundering hooves.
He knew it the instant Phoenix spotted the water. The horse's ears perked and his speed actually increased, if such a thing was possible. A little worried, he attempted to slow the horse down - he didn't want the stallion racing through water and possibly slipping. His fears were unfounded, however. Phoenix had aimed for a thin spot. With a short whinny of excitement, the horse tore towards the pond and jumped it. Roman went into the proper seat almost automatically, only to fall back into a full seat once the horse landed again. He shook his head, laughing again. "Well, that was fun," he told Kahlilia.

If you promise not to break it. Nanina fished in her pocket and hesitantly handed out the phone.
Keith returned a few minutes later with his duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Yeah, this is pretty much it. Bare, but comfy.

" It is homey...all nice and warm"Emily replied craning her head to see him better.
She had never felt this at home for a few weeks ever since she had left from her real home. Emily stood up and stretched her arms to the ceiling and turned to face him. Only then did she notice the duffle bag slung over his shoulder.
" what is the duffle bag for?" Emily questioned.

Benvolio continued to gallop at full speed beside Phoenix, with Kahlilia laughing. She was so happy and so excited, erasing the persistant whateveritwas that was tugging inside her. When Phoenix had started going faster towards the water, Benvolio had whinnied with what sounded like confusion. He had stopped abruptly right by the water, which had startled Kahlilia for the second time. Benvolio bent his head down and drank a tiny bit, but Kahlilia knew he would become hyper again pretty soon, like he always did. She had watched as Phoenix had jumped over the water like it was nothing and witheld a gasp of astoinshment. "Wow, thats unbelievable!" She said when he was within earshot, beginning to laugh again. Benvolio lifted his head back up and looked up at Phoenix and Roman, his expression content. Kahlilia looked around for a second or two before seeing a dirt path to the right of the pond. "Oh, do you want to go down there?" She asked Roman, pointing to the path.
"You take all the fun out of it." He replied to Nanina. He went straight to the text-messaging inbox and clicked "Reply" on the newest message, knowing it was probably from whoever Nanina's little joker was. He began to reply, with a few upward glances at Nanina. His expression curled into a smirk, and there was quiet snickering coming from his throat.
The message he wrote would be far too obscence to repeat, which was mostly English, but included detailed curses in Spanish.
"I don't want you to see it," He told her repeatedly as he 'typed' the message. "It'll be a surprise."
Another throaty snicker.
