Aras giggled as Rhea licked her neck and her face turned a light shade of red, and she turned him and smiled. "Rhea did a great job, too," she murmured softly. Then she ruffled his hair affectionately. "Come on, we have to go with Corrah and Kanis!"
And she started after them, making sure that Rhea was following her.
It was about a ten minutes walk for the four of them to where Armus and Ruran were waiting for them, and when they entered the small clearing, Corrah's eyes widened slightly with surprise. Perhaps it had not been such a good idea to send Armus for Ruran ... the boy looked positively incensed.
He sighed inwardly and stepped between the two before their argument (whatever it was about) could come to blows.
"Enough!" he barked, glaring at both of them. "I don't care what you're arguing about, just stop it!"
Armus tried her best not to snicker. She had actually been enjoying angering Ruran ... not to mention, she really didn't mind Corrah when he was angry. The children wouldn't like it though, he would work them extra hard ...

Rhea laughed and nods padding at her side after the two elves. He was not really interested in training right now...he was more interested in getting Aras back into thier den, he would not let another male too close to her unless they tried to steal her first heat from him.
Kanis could hear her brother and Armus fighting and sighed. But Corrah stopped them. She knew he would be angry and ready to fight but it would be a good way to train.
Ruran turned glaring at Corrah and then his angry eyes fell on his sister whom he smiled a bit evilly. He smiled "Yes sir"

Aras rolled her eyes, hearing Ruran arguing with Armus. It didn't surprise her, to be honest, but she did wish Ruran would get over himself and start growing up a bit. Honestly. He was such a jerk!
Corrah clenched his jaw, glaring at Ruran. "Good. Now we're basically going to do the same thing we did yesterday - Ruran, you already know what to do. Aras and Rhea, I want you to work with Armus. Kanis, you're with me and Ruran."
He motioned for Kanis to join him with the obnoxious boy, then held up his hands as he had the day before. "Kanis first," he said shortly. "Clench your hands into fists and hit my hands. Hard as you can."
Armus grinned and hopped nimbly to her feet, then headed over towards Aras and Rhea. "Come on, we're going to learn punching!" she told them brightly. "And who knows, maybe we can do more too!"

Rhea barked his tail wagging as he walked over to his mother smiling. He still smelled slightly of sweat and bodily fluids when he was very close to someone. But he didn't know it and he smiles, "Arrras and me are ready!" his tail wagged.
Kanis nods, "Yes sir." She moved over to Corrah and Ruran. She made a fist and wondering if she was doing it right decided not to question. He would correct her if she was wrong. She pulled back her arm and swung hitting Corrah's palm square but her wrist bending a bit so that most off the force was spared.
Ruran moved to stand slightly behind his sister, so that he could watch her body move. She was a bit clumsy...and unlike her mother it did not seem like she would be too good in bed from her stiff movements.

Aras giggled and skipped along after Rhea. "Yes, we're ready!" she said brightly.
Armus grinned at the two children and squatted on the ground in front of them. "Good," she nodded. "Now ... make a fist ... like this ..."
And she showed them.
"And hit my hands," she finished, holding her hands up for them.
Corrah nodded at how Kanis had made a fist, but when she hit him he frowned softly.
"Hold your wrist straight," he instructed her. "I want you to hit me as hard as you can. It won't hurt me, don't worry - just do it. Draw your arm back ... like this ..."
He reached out to hold her arm in position.
"And then as hard as you can, right here," he nodded, holding his hand up again.

Rhea shook his head. He didn't like that So instead of making a fist he ran the heal of his palm into Armus' held out hand. With the way he moved his body it packed quiet a bit of power.
He giggled and looked up at her.
Kanis nodded her head and tried again to punch. This time doing a bit better. She wanted to be good. She did not have to be the best...just good would do fine.
Ruran watched the way his sister moved she might be skinny and flat chested...but she did have a good backside. He smiled and turned to look at his other sister. He didn't like her but at least she had a body.

Armus laughed and caught Rhea's hand in her own, though her own hand was pushed quite far back by the force.
"Well," she grinned, "you've got the strength ... and actually, that is a good way to attack ... mostly if you're going for the nose. But for now, we're going to try punching. Like this."
She curled her fingers loosely in her hand, then made a slow, exaggerated punch in Rhea's direction.
"Okay?"
Corrah nodded again, his face emotionless. "Good," he said stiffly. "But again, harder. Put all of your weight into it ... I want to feel it."
He held up his other hand as well and glanced at Ruran. "You, too. With as much muscle as you can muster - however little it may be."
He was more than just taunting the boy, he was trying to get him angry so that he would use more force than otherwise ... it was the only way he would reach his full potential. He didn't care if the boy hated him ... once his training was complete, it wouldn't matter, he would never have to see him again.

Rhea's ears lowered. He did not like punching. He was more of a flinging man. Just smack and kick wildly with no apparent style or skill. But he held the first and punched with it.
Kanis nods and tried again. She at least seemed to have the form down. She would keep trying without stopping until Corrah told her too. Even when her hand hurt from a few misses and bent wrists she kept going.
Ruran stepped up sighing as he was not allowed to watch his hated sister. He came over and started to punch it was clear that he had learned from the day before rather well.

Armus grinned and reached out to ruffle Rhea's hair affectionately.
"Good!" she beamed proudly. "That was good! Now Aras, I want you to try - and yes, you have to work on it longer than Rhea, you're the one that's in official training."
Aras had no arguments - she wanted to learn ... though she wanted to learn for the fun and the adventure of it, and to make her father proud, not for the skills themselves.
"Okay," she agreed readily, curling her fingers as Armus had done: and then she pulled her arm back and punched Armus's hand as hard as she could ... except that she missed it altogether and spun in a circle, landing hard on her already sore backside and falling against Rhea.
Corrah held his one hand steady so that Kanis could get used to the simple act of hitting, but he looked at Ruran at the same time. Without warning, he began to move the hand that Ruran was hitting, making sure that there was no discernable pattern to his movements, making it more challenging for the boy.

Rhea laughed and smiled at his mother then when Aras fell against him. He lowered himself to sniff at her and nuzzle worried about her. He lowered his head to lap at her back side.
Ruran growled now and started to work on hitting the hand that started to move. he hit one out of every three.
Kanis kept trying to hit the hand well enough. She knew she was not the best but it didn't mater she even started to smile. It was kinda fun.

Aras blushed and giggled softly, hugging Rhea briefly before quickly clambering to her feet again.
"Sorry," she murmured, adjusting her stance again. "I'll try to do better this time."
Armus smiled and nodded. She had a feeling she knew what was going on - why Rhea smelled the way he did, why Aras had already had a bath that morning, and why Rhea was licking at her the way he had ... but she said nothing. If the children wanted to tell her, they would. After all, she wasn't really Rhea's mother.
Still, she was happy for him.
"Focus on aim for now, and not power," she told Aras softly, holding her hand up once again. "That will come later, but it's useless if you can't hit what you're aiming at."
Corrah glanced away from Ruran for a brief moment to look at Kanis instead.
"Better," he told her softly. "Now try it with your other hand."

Rhea helped Aras up and moved to watch her work he licked his mother's hand as well watching Aras wanting her to get good and strong so she could be an alpha of their own pack one day.
Kanis nods, "Yes sir." she started to hit with her other hand. She did nice even punches focusing on her own work not that of her brother. She knew that Ruran had been trained the other day and she was not so it was not her place to complain. She would get to that level and good in her own time.
Ruran started to hit with a greater power every time he hit Corrah's hand. He was getting bored with this and no one was watching or caring about the fact that he was a level ahead. He growing anger reflected in the punches.

Aras nodded and did as Armus told her, being careful to hit her trainer's hand rather than just focus on her strength. This time she hit Armus right in the middle of her palm, but rather than gloating or becoming proud she simply smiled to herself and tried again, this time with her other hand.
Armus nodded encouragingly at Aras, her other hand moving to scratch Rhea behind the ears.
Corrah nodded at Kanis, pleased with how she was doing. Suddenly he felt the change in Ruran's punches, and he turned to the boy, his face emotionless. It was about time the boy started using his strength ... still, he knew that Ruran was angry, and he had to be just as strong when he wasn't angry. He considered saying something, but decided just to watch him for the moment.

Rhea giggled and nuzzled into his mother's hand laying down and rolling onto his back for her.
Kanis kept working slowly. She was in no rush she just wanted to make the best punches she could.
Ruran kept working each punch was full of power and it seemed that his accuracy got a bit better too.

For quite a long while, Corrah had everyone continue as they were, but eventually he decided that it was time to move on to something else - not because the children were proficient already, but because he didn't want them to get bored with the same thing forever.
"You two practice against each other," he told Ruran and Kanis, rising to his feet. "Hitting each other, hands only. I'll be right back."
And he vanished into the woods without a trace.
