Well, at least you're not totally unresolved on the idea! I once couldn't decide whether a smutty scene was right, left it in, and totally regretted it later. It changed the whole novel in the wrong kind of way, so even editing it out would have been troublesome. XP

Oh yes, my plot would change dramatically as well and I didn't need any more at the moment! However, I may just use it next chapter and continue it through to the next one.

I have written an enormous amount today and combined it with revision! I also don't feel guilty because I now understand the second part of my media exam! This chapter has been so great to write, actual action and drama...

biggrin

Yay for you! It's always great when revision goes your way. Unfortunately that's not happened to me for a very long time. xd Damn university.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 06, 2010 12:03 pm

Hahaha I reallllly hope that doesn't happen to me! Really I am working my butt off for these exams, trying to learn the ins and outs of the possible questions...ack!

I miss that about A level. At university, you usually don't have a clue even what format the questions will be in, never mind what's likely to come up. I wish you luck with your revision!
PostPosted: Wed Jun 09, 2010 10:59 am

Haha yes, A Level is good in that way but it is bloody difficult. I regret this many subjects now... I spend about six hours on top of sixth form revising and neglecting my story xD
My Beta is also having problems so Libertas is slow out! However, I sat down late the other night and just planned out the entire thing so, glad that is sorted out. smile

Yay! Well, that's something.

And just keep it up a little while longer and you'll be done! =D You're on the final stretch now, really. ^^

10th June 2010

Yeah, I still have a long way to go for Libertas...but it is getting there. Today has been a weird day. Been revising and the best thing about media studies is that I get to watch movies! Haha. My writing is struggling at the moment writing a happy scene as there is a sad mood around with one of my brother's best friend's dying at 14... I don't know...

Hmm. You think you know how to comfort...but you don't. So...it's hard to write at the moment. Gah!

25th June 2010

Wow-o-wow what an amazing break I had. 10th of June I last posted, neglecting my place. I am back now, exams finished and so is sixth form. Gawd, it was so emotional, especially saying goodbye to my teacher of five years that was like a father to me.

Welll on my writing side, Libertas is still going strong and my reviews keep piling up. It makes me feel so happy and it just spurred me on to revise more so my exams would be over faster and be less of a worry. It is bigger than I imagined!

21st July 2010
Wow, been a while!

Okay, I've hit a problem with Libertas. I wanted to post two parts but I'm having second thoughts about spending so much time on a FictionPress story. My reviewers want the second part so I am at a loss. I'm just so surprised at how well it has turned out...

As for other writing, I tried poetry yesterday and failed dramatically. What is the secret to it?! My short story also was a boring disaster...ugh!

I've found that the best way to get around writing poetry is to not try too hard. The harder you try, the harder it is to articulate yourself without it coming out sounding forced and weird. Have a couple of glasses of wine and just relax. XD

If Libertas is going well, keep going! Any practice is good practice, especially if you're getting feedback. :3

Oh after a couple of glasses of wine I'm away with the faries but that's because my glasses are like goblets, each carries half a bottle of wine! Last night I was slightly sozzled and couldn't think properly hahaha! I blame my dad for keeping my glass topped up.

I should really keep it up? I do love Libertas and I guess it can't hurt, especially because after the first part there will still be loose ends. Ack, okay, keep going it is!

I'd have a glass in hand right now if it wasn't so early! Haha.

Definitely keep it up, especially if you're enjoying it as much as it sounds like you are. : )

It is never too early to drink wine! Okay, yes, it is xD I can't drink wine and write, it makes me sleepy!

Thanks for the support, I was just really tempted to drop it but now I have hope smile

I'd say continue to write and post. I mean you shouldn't write or anyone but yourself, but since you love it too than there is no problem with giving into your fans pleas. Sometimes its nice to get reviews and praise, which is something you get a lot less of once you focus more on publishing. Publishing takes forever and the editor tears apart your book. Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on editors, they do wonders, but sometimes it's nice to feel carefree and just write whatever and not worry about perfection. Could I have a link to you FictionPress profile? I want to see why this story is so beloved.
