Seifer smiled slightly, and walked into the bed area, careful to close his jacket before the good doctor could see how banged up he was..He didn't want Rinoa to see, either..He set the duffel bag on the floor, and stood over Rinoa's bed..Yo..How you feelin', kiddo..

Irvine headed to the Headmaster's Office like the other people who had their names called out. Valiant was in it's holster, he was still in his cold weather gear, and the Galbadian SMG was still slung over his shoulders. He looked like he was about to assassinate Cid, but he merely didn't have the time to change.

She choked back a sob at hearing his name. After all this time only for him to die on the battlefield and he had finally made it to SeeD. Once the names were said, she moved silently away from everyone else, only wanting to be alone for the time being.
Taking the elevator down to the main floor, she saw a few cadets talking in which she heard his name being used. One spotted her as she stepped out of the elevator to make her way down the steps.
"Instructor Trepe! Did Seifer pass this time?"
"You know he didn't!" a young girl replied.
Actually... Quistis began He did pass. the students thought she should have looked happy about the news, and were a bit puzzled.
"If he passed...then why did we just see him leaving?"
Quistis blinked dumbly at the male cadet, blue eyes wide at the news. Where is he?!? he pointed towards the Quad area.
"That was about ten minutes ago though, Instructor Trepe...."
She didn't hear the rest he had to say as she began in that direction, running like a mad woman, her heart beating rapidly. She supposed the best way would be to call his name, and that's what she did. Quite loudly in fact.

I'm doing just fine, like always. How about you? You smell like dog. Has Angelo been bugging you?
-She notices the duffel bag, and the way Seifer closes his jacket. He always tried to look tough and cool even when he was busted, so she won't hurt his pride and bother with pointing out his injuries. But...-

Chris Burnham ran back to the dorm to get changed, only to find all of Seifer's stuff gone.."Huh? what's goin on?" Chris thought..He shrugged, figuring there had to be a reason, before dashing up to the headmaster's office. He was a SeeD!

Zell grumbled and quickly started shouting again, he was at the directory now and was looking around for Seifer, Zell would probly be the last one who would be doing this but it seemed asthough he wasent the only one, Zell has heard Quistis's voice.
"Damnit, where did that idiot run off too!?"

-Sendo and Orena, having cleaned up and waited for their names to be called, walk quickly to the Headmaster's office and stand in line, heads lowered. They did their best, and they hope they get ranks as SeeD, but anyone can tell that SeeD ranking isn't the most important thing on their minds right now.-

He shook his head gently.. I'm not..I'm not at home here anymore, Rin.. I failed the exam..Quistis was right. I'll never be a SeeD..If I hadn't been stupid..Mike Skylar wouldn't be dead..You and Squall wouldnt be hurt...And i'd be a SeeD like the others..But..Good old Seifer, always has to run ahead..So I'm leaving here.He shook his head..You guys'll be better off, trust me..Don't be sad 'bout it, huh? I'm sure you'll see me around..If the sorceress ever needs a knight..But then again.. You have Squall for that. He gave a soft smile, reaching for your hand..Instead, he grabbed his bag, slinging it and Hyperion back over his shoulder..See you around, kiddo..He walked out of the infirmary..He'd stayed too long allready..He headed for the exit.

When she had reached the Quad she found no one. Pressing on she went to each area, calling Seifer's name like her very life depended on it. She only hoped she hadn't missed him.

Zell growled as he leaned against the directory, he was waiting for Seifer to come past, he'd have knock Zell over before he left, that was not going to happen either. Even if Seifer was a pain in the a**, a jerk and had the biggest ego in all the world, he was still a member of Garden and he was a SeeD now.

Squall stood off to the side of the Headmaster's desk, after Quistis took off, as the passing students filtered in. He watched each one to judge their expressions on being assured that they had passed this ill-fated field exam.
Headmaster Cid proudly watched the students form a line, most still in their cold-weather field gear and sporting whatever weapons they had taken with them.
He held all the rank reports in his hand, alphabetized, waiting for the last of them to enter. He almost frowned, not seeing Seifer appearing at the elevator door. Perhaps the poor boy had fainted upon hearing the news that he had passed his exam? Doubtful. Cid would worry about it later.
As the last of the students filed in, he cleared his throat.
Well, good job, all of you. While our casualty rate was higher than we had anticipated, you successfully vanquished the raiders' threat. Just before your arrival, we received word from the reconstruction crews at Trabia Garden thanking us for our assistance.
He began pacing back and forth in front of the students, meeting the eyes of each one.
First of all, congratulations. However... From now on, as a member of SeeD, you will be dispatched all over the world. The Headmaster turned to Squall and several other high-ranking SeeDs nearby. We are proud to introduce SeeD, Balamb Garden's mercenary soldiers.
