Actually, it's commonly overlooked because it's a "ballet magical girl". But really, after the first few episodes, that show is kick-a** and has little to do with ballet [especially after episode eight or so]. And if they ever really fight [Unless it's between Tutu and Kraehe], they'll do it with swords. Most of the dancing comes in when Tutu is being a magical dancing guidance counselor to troubled and stressed souls.
Instead of being about ballet, it's really about the status quo: who we are, who we are destined to be, and how we can defy that destiny with our own power and will. It is about the strength in hope and kindness, and how selfishness can blind us from true meaning in our lives. And my favorite: this is a story about stories, about fairytales and about things we once lost dear to our hearts, and what we loved about them.
And most amusingly: it's about dancing ducks, princes who have a strange aversion to wearing pants when hanging out of fifth story windows, emo ballerina men, and a writer without hands!
Anyway: Watch. This. Anime. Period.

Congratulations on the outcomes of the two East Sector matches! Good job to all who participated, it was simply a delight to watch the match and I wish all luck in making it to the finals, win or lose.

Guys.....Holy......s**t....
I have one word to say to everyone.....
BRAWL!!!!!!!
Okay...Let's re-cap how this went down.
Myself, Derdev, Kev3060, Verseatile (Spectator only) And another good friend of ours all showed up for the brawl tourney at Gamestop at 8PM PST. It was great. The place was packed, wall to wall people. You could smell Brawl in the air...Now. Let's get to the matches.
It was first, that only Verseatile ( Who is new referred to as Quan from now on) had a spot in the tournament...But 9 people...9!! Didn't show up....
So my friend, Derdev, and Kev swopped in....All 5 of us got to play!!!!! ^_^
Now...First round came. My Ike Vs. Quans' Fox. I worked him over. 4kills to 2. XD. SO he was out first round.
Next match. First round. Kevs' Fox Vs... s**t I can't remember... But.. KEV WAS THE WINNER!
Next. Derdevs' Link Vs. Can't remember.... Derdev LOST!
Next. Our friends' Metaknight Vs. Link., Friend (Now reffered to as Phil) WON!
Round 2.
I won.
Kev won.
And Phil won. Pefect wins for our team.
Round 3...
Me Vs. Kev. XDDD. It came down to sudden death between us...but I ended up winning.
Phil won his match in Sudden Death too.
WE WERE IN THE SEMIFINALS NOWW!!!
Round 4. Semis.
Me Vs. Another Ike.... I lost.....Horribly. 4kills to 1.
Phil lost as well... Against Peach.
All in all. We got to the semi finals...We were happy.
