((Sierra, are they walking behind Gustaf up the slope or are they passing Arryl first?))

((Basically, Gustaf is standing right in front of the Dodongo (sp?) Cave. Sofia and Vladimir are passing behind him, so Gustaf is still between Arryl and them. But, I left it completely open for Arryl to attack Gustaf if she moves quietly. His back is currently to her))

((So here I think you mean they're going into Dodongo Cavern. This is acceptable.))
Arryl grinned, spurred her horse forward, and tensed all the more.
Anticipating the Goron turning around, Arryl drew her rapier and charged him, for all the world looking like she intended to harm him.
She charged forward, waited until as late as she dared, and then...
...then the horse jumped, carrying Arryl just above the Goron. Arryl herself, expecting the Goron to make a move to stop her horse, dismounted with a leap forward, flying rapier first towards Sofia. Once she had that girl with the rapier against her, no one would make a move. Her trump card was played; she had a victory.

Link's cheeks reddened with her words. It seemed she was aware of his attempts to sound more proper, but how could he not. She was the princess after all, "Okay... I meant yes of course...I mean...I mean," embarrased, Link sighed and stared at his boots, "Let's just leave."

Zelda finally gave up and laughed. "This is one of the reasons why I didn't want to tell you, Link." She shook her head. "Yes, let's leave."

Link watched as the princess placed her hand on the other triangle, and suddenly they were back in the palace. Fifteen minutes later, Link found himself putting the last of the spiritual stones in place. Link took a step back and watched the door expecting the earth to start shaking or the door to disappear at any second, but after a few minutes, he found himself turning to the Princess and asking, "Now what?"

Zelda walked up to the door, gently running her fingers over the stone. There wasn't a triforce insignia on it, nothing to work with. After a moment she turned back to Link. "I'm not sure. The song key is still a possibility."

Link dug deeply into his bag and grabbed at the blue ocarina he had found earlier in the shed, "I have this but what could that song possibly be?" Link asked then sat crossed legged on the ground and began to fiddle with the insrtument, playing random notes as he waited for a reply.

Zelda smiled wistfully as Link pulled out an ocarina, and felt a sharp pang for the one still in her saddle bag. Hesitantly, she knelt next to him. "Well, you could try the Royal Anthem," she began doubtfully, "Although that seems too obvious." She thought for a moment, then held out her hand. "Can I see it?"

"Um, of course, here," Link hand over the instrument. Something about the situation made Link think about all the songs that his mother had taught him when he was little, the first that came to mind was one his mother had called 'The Song of time.' And so while Zelda examined the instrument, Link began to whistle the tune.

Zelda looked up, surprised. Few people knew the song of time; it had been years since she'd heard it. After a moment, she brought the ocarina to her lips, wondering if she even remembered how to play the ancient song. The last time she'd played it had been when her mother died. Her fingers moved, almost of their own accord, effortlessly remembering what her mind couldn't.

Link laughed inwardly as the girl began to play. This time, as the two continued their duet, the earth really did shake amd the Spiritual stones lifted into the air. The Door of Time opened wide and in front of the rested the ancient blade, The sword of Time. Link stares with wide eyes at the Blade as he got to his feet. Slowly he approached the blade until at last he hands were around the hilt. 'Please don't freeze me, please don''t freeze me,' Link thought as he prepared to remove the sword. With one quick jerking motino, his task was complete, and a strange golden light shot forth from the petestal to parts unknown.

It wouldn't have been such a surprise if it hadn't occured exactly when it did.
Ganondorf was pacing his room. The Princess had apparently disappeared on some scheme, probably less to actually do what she was saying and more to just get away from Ganondorf. Honestly, Ganondorf couldn't blame her. She hadn't asked for the marriage.
But as he was pacing an odd feeling began to overcome him. A sense of fulfillment. Like finally seeing something inevitable come around and happen. Like... the end of a song, like destiny falling straight into place.
For a moment Ganondorf basked in the feeling. It was a good feeling. It didn't last. It was suddenly replaced by a burst of light. Or at least, so it appeared. Blinded, he stumbled back, letting out a quiet cry before stumbling backwards, then spinning around and falling to his knees.
For a moment his massive frame crouched there, before he suddenly stood up. Power flowed through him, energy, ability. Something was pressing on the edge of his mind, something powerful and dangerous. Ganondorf couldn't quite read what it was; it seemed to be overpowering his thoughts, poisoning them with ambitious dreams, putting ideas into his head that hadn't been there before. Aware of something on his hand, he glanced down, and fixed his eyes on the back. There. The symbol of the Triforce, with the top triangle glowing brightest.
The Triforce of Power.
The last coherent thought he had for the moment was, That was easier than expected. The Triforce overwhelmed his mind at last, sending him to the ground again with a heavy thump.
Two minutes later he awoke again. Presently aware that he was laying face-down on the floor, he sprung up violently. The influence had gone. Ideas of power and glory were hovering somewhere at the back of his mind, but he had overcome them, banished them for the time being. Power, however, remained. It flowed through his veins, it tugged at every muscle, offering such possibilities as Ganondorf had never before even dreamed of. It was overwhelming, and yet Ganondorf had almost mastered it.
But power... power to do what? Anything? He could find the Princess. The Sages weren't quite as necessary for him, but surely they had awoken, and he couldn't let anyone find them and use them. The Gerudos would know not to let anyone else exercise authority. That base was covered.
But the Triforce had awoken. Last time a Ganondorf had the Triforce, things ended ill for him. So now it came down to stopping the Hero of Time before he recognized himself. It was probably almost too late, but the Hero would be weak and unprepared to fight a foe like Ganondorf.
So how to get there (the thought of the Temple of Time suddenly burst into his mind) before they could escape? He had power, but he didn't know how to use it. Or did he?
Experimentally focusing on the temple, Ganondorf let the power come back in full. For a moment nothing happened. For another moment he felt absolutely weightless. His vision went black. Then his feet gently touched the ground and he found himself standing just within the archway of the Temple of Time.
Again, that was altogether too easy. Of course, though; he'd forgotten his sword. Hopefully he'd find he wouldn't need it, in retrospect.
Folding his arms, he caught Zelda there. Two birds with one stone. How convenient. He'd wait for them to notice, though. More dramatic.
((Basically, Ganondorf gets Triforce, teleports behind you. smile First confrontation.))

With sword in hand, Link walked forward triumphantly towards his companion, ready to head back to the Temple of Light. Unfortunately, things did not seem to go as expected. Suddenly out of thin air, a man clad in black appeared behind the princess, it was the man from the desert who had arrived that night, but something seemed off about him, he seemed more deranged then Link had remembered. QUickly, Link removed the blue shield from his back and held out the master sword with his left hand, "Stay away from her!"
As Artemis exited the Temple of light, she immediately noticed something strange. There standing in the path was a horse with white mane, and nearby a boy lay sleeping. Something about both seemed familiar, but at the moment, all the Gerudo cared about was escaping unnoticed. She walked through the alleyways to where she had left her horse then quickly leaped and mounted the beast, 'Now to report to Lord Gannon.'
