*hugs to those who have had miscarriages* It's tough!
I think after 3 miscarriages they will start doing tests to find out why. One or two is just the luck of the draw sometimes. My sister has had 3 miscarriages (2 miscarriages followed by a full-term pregnancy followed by another miscarriage) and they're now testing her. I also suffered years of infertility, 2 years before my first pregnancy (had to have my tubes flushed before getting pregnant that time) and 4+ years this time. I do believe it will happen when and how it's supposed to, even if it's years in the future from what WE want! I have a neighbor who couldn't conceive for 14 years, and then suddenly she had 6 kids in a row! And my mother-in-law has had 5 miscarriages just by the luck of the draw, and a number of other healthy pregnancies. She's actually MORE fertile than most (with 11 healthy children) but still had to endure that loss so many times.

I heard here they'll start testing on your second miscarriage. Atleast that's the info I found on the web after my miscarriage. I can't imagine having 2 miscarriages let alone 5... Hubby and I are waiting about a year before TTC again... I need time, I'm so afraid to loose another. I feel like I've died inside after this one, I can't take loosing another. Hubby and I agreed that when we try again, if I miscarry for a second time we'll look into adoption. There's only so much heartbreak a woman can take...

*hugs Sasha*
They can start testing anytime - depends on the circumstances...I had a "missed" miscariage (at 13 weeks - like Kailani), and since they had to get it out anyway - they tested.
Mystic - so the tubeflushing worked for you? I've heard couple of good ending stories about that. I'm gonna try for another 6months and then look into that.
*hugs for Kailani too* sad you know, in the back of my head I always keep the adoption option.

Cup-of-Tea Mystic - so the tubeflushing worked for you? I've heard couple of good ending stories about that. I'm gonna try for another 6months and then look into that. Yeah, and fortunately the HSG procedure where they flush dye through my tubes and take x-rays was considered fertility testing and not fertility treatment, so insurance paid for it! And fortunately it worked as a treatment for me by clearing my tubes and leaving me in a nice fertile state. I figured this second time after 4 and a half years of not getting pregnant on my own, I'd need something similar done, or that I was destined for just 1 child. But it did happen again on its own after so long, and I have no idea why! I think it's just the timing of the universe, with my other dauther just having started kindergarten, so in a sense, I'm "done" with one, have her shipped off to school, and ready to start raising the other one!

I'm sorry Sasha. I wish the best of luck for you and hubby. I've never had that experience and hope I never, but a good friend of mine has and it's a hard road. But give it time to heal and you'll be ready to try again. 3nodding
This is the longest wait ever... at least I have plenty to do while I wait to test. I just moved down to South Carolina the end of Jan, so I've been away from my friends and family for a long time now, but my baby sister and friend Amanda are coming to visit me!

D: *nods* It's very expensive... My uncle and aunt couldn't have children... after years of trying to prove the doctors wrong that it was imposable, they finally gave up and adopted. Now they are a happy family with four (O.O) adopted children. They have two girls, and two boys, and the oldest boy and girl are bio sibs, and the youngest boy and girl are bio sibs. 3nodding

heart surprised Wow! and they all get along (siblings) - thats great!! biggrin
Its just I always though that you are doing a great thing by adopting a child that they shouldn't charge you that much for it. I mean like 5 thousand ok, but 30 and up o_o' Now I understand why a lot of people say that they can't afford adoption.
Well, I better start saving up meanwhile sweatdrop

Maybe he will come around eventually?
In other news, I think I just had an ovulation. I was afraid I wouldn't O the first cycle after the miscarriage. It's funny that hubby got his cast off a few days before this dip and so we could start doing things again xd Not that we're trying like usual, just not preventing you know?

I think your body will work things out when it's right for you, and I truly believe these things happen when they're meant to! Good luck this month, and sending you patience to wait it out if it's not right away!
