((Yeah. Magus-General Joe is pretty awesome. He can basically create the effect of a physics beam around him. And that's not even expending his mana. It's just kind of... hitting stuff with it. xd

Agnese looked down. She looked at the Duchess. She looked down again.
"Well?" the Duchess prompted. "The angels aren't getting any less zealous," she chided as Takeshi and Samuel approached, strapping on their parachutes. She grabbed one herself from under a nearby chair. "Takeshi, you'll be doing a number of dangerous things soon. You first. Samuel, go with him." Takeshi nodded and jumped. Samuel followed after. "Well, dear? It's now or... oh s**t." the Duchess looked out. Takeshi had an angel harassing him while he blasted fire at it and Samuel fired his destructive Sage spells.

((OMG, I'm back in the story!))
Agnese had been handleing all of this pretty well so far. Actual warlocks and s**t? okay fine, it just proved she wasn't crazy and the voice in her head wasn't a hallucination. People exploding in front of her? Uncle Vinny had taught her to fire a shotgun once or twice to keep problem worker's quiet. Demons? Okay, that was expected, warlocks, demons, angels of course because there couldn't be one without the other. But...
"Skydiving?"
It was amazing what could make people faint, because in the next moment, the little latina was passed out on the floor.

With the vampire soldiers scattered by Gertrude, Fyrin was fairly free to move, and he took advantage of this, remembering how it was he had gotten to the armory in the first place and heading for it.

Paul selected a door at random and started heading for it, very very fast. "Gotta get clear, gotta get clear, gotta get clear," he muttered as he went.

((Agnese is almost immediately back out of the story, as far as consciousness is concerned! xd ))
The Duchess groaned. "You've got to be kidding." She grabbed Agnese and strapped the parachute onto her. "Here we go..."
The Duchess stepped back and jumped out of the plane with Agnese. She waited a few seconds and tore Agnese's ripcord, then, shoved off the unconscious Agnese onto the angel.
((MINI-TIMESKIP TIIIME.))
Agnese woke up in a dim room with red lights around the edges. She felt around herself, finding unfamiliar clothing - some sort of silk jumpsuit? - and a very soft bed. She looked over to the left and saw Takeshi and Samuel hooked up to life support systems.

Fyrin had the foresight to peek around the corner before he entered the room he'd been sent to originally. A dozen heavily-armed vampires, including "Anders and Melvin" ((page 200-and-something. The head guy's bodyguards)) and a few vampires with riot shields.

Joe and Jacob noticed a great deal of smoke coming from one skyscraper.

Marco and Paul came into a corridor with another door at the end. With the footsoldiers following, all they could really do was advance. Through the next door they came across an office with nobody in it.

"No," Joe groaned. "No no no no ******** no. We're dropping them off, then we're going home."
Marco spun around and fired a stream of FBs at the door and the wall around it, aiming to collapse it and slow the advance.
