Lila elf finishes washing the dishes and turns too Maya. "Oh yes! There is lots to do down here in the kitchens! I think it is about times to start making dinner for the students. I will start with the turkey, and you can start with the mashed potatoes, okay?" She says as grabbing some materials. "Oh, and my name is Lila elf." She says smiling.

*mixes together some cupcakes and puts them in the oven*

 Sam walks into the kitchen and smiles. She hadn't spent a lot of time in the kitchens since the begging of her second year. "Hey, I was wondering if you could give me some cup cakes or some cookies?"

Lola, trying to avoid having to pull open the heavy door with the pear-shaped handle, darted in the opening left from when Sam entered right before her. "I is new, but Lola will help!" She began darting around the kitchen looking for sweets to give the hungry Ravenclaw. "Uhh, Lola is too new... Where is the cookies?" She was immediately embarrassed when she saw that other elves were already preparing desserts for the students. "Oh..."

Sam nearly bumps into the little house elf. "It's fine, I just want some cookies for my friends in the common room.

Maya looked around, her beady eyes searching for a bowl, some potatoes and the other various ingredients and tools to make mashed potatoes. After some scavenging around the kitchen she brought everything to an empty spot on the counter, conveniently located near the garbage can for the peels.
"Maya can make the best mashed potatoes!" she announced proudly as she began working.

"I will get you some cookies Sam. I will make them for you." Walks over and get all the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies and mixes it together and put them on a cookie sheet and puts them in the oven. "It will be about 10 minutes for your cookies." Waits 10 minutes,, gets the cookies out. "Here they are, freshly cooked for you and your friends."

Owen notices that the brownies are running low already, and decides to make more. He gets out another pan, and prepares the brownies. Then he pops him in the oven with a smile.

Lola could tell how good of a baker Carissa was from the smell of the warm, gooey cookies she had provided the Ravenclaw student. "Would Carissa like to make cookies with Lola?" Lola had already begun scurrying around the kitchen, going through cupboards gathering all of the necessary ingredients to make and decorate sugar cookies.

Emi, noticing how many elves were already cooking for the students, decided to put her time to good use and clean. She found some rags and some cleaning solution to dust and began wiping down the tables with wood cleaning polish. When they were shiny and dust free, she moved on to the counters that weren't being used regularly.
