Fiddlers Green The reason I asked... I am going to be in Kansas City, probably the last week of July... and was contemplating visiting some other people while I'm out there... If you're amiable to such a thing... sweatdrop Sure. How could I turn that down? xd

Usagi Zendrake Sure. How could I turn that down? xd I thought I'd mention it ahead of time. 3nodding About how many hours does it take y'all to drive to Worlds of Fun? It's close enough to my home that it'll give me a godd idea on road time. 3nodding

It's close enough to my home that it'll give me a godd idea on road time. 3nodding My guesstimate is that it's about 2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on traffic, road construction detours, and pit stops.

It doesn't matter what you look like. You're gonna get glomped anyway! Ooh. Abalone shells! Back when you could still go out in the bay and harvest your own, my grandfather and dad would go collect abalones. As a kid, my sister and I would have piles of shells in my grand's back yard to use as dishes and such for playing 'house' or making witches potions or whatnot.

I never actually harvest them... I just find them (usually after a storm) in the soil near the shore.
