My flute has a silver head, but it's body is silver plated only. Piece of crap. (I can't say Sh**, otherwise they'll block my post again.)

I play my mom's 33 year old flute! And next year for marching/concert band, her piccolo! blaugh They work great! But, I seem to have a problem playing the flute. My mom told me that my cheeks puff out when I play, and is that normal to do? If so, any tips on how to stop? sweatdrop

I just made first chair this year. I like had a spazz attack when I found out. (and yes I'm still excited about it!)

Keltzy Either I am blind and didn't read the board right, or there are no flute topics. I saw other instrument topics so I thought I'd make one too. Um flute players, any of out there? Today was our first day of school and my first day playing with a different band. I was different, probably 'cause most the class forgot their instruments. sweatdrop We played pep band music, and I felt weird, 'cause the other two flutes were organizing stuff . . . But enough of my ranting, please, come talk!! I play the flute! But the other girls that play the flute arent snobs!

i play piccolo this year for wind ensemble at my school but next year I'll be first chair flute!!! 3nodding xd

Ky Kwaii 1 -Band-Geek1101 I still have my old flute that I got used. Silver and German....still can't pronounce the name on the case.....>.< Wow a silver flute! I can't afford a silver flute at the moment, but someday! my Aunt got it from Craigslist..not far from my house too.I've had it for two years and when I got it it had these rubbed marks on it from being played so much. I did that to my piccolo and I've been playing the crap out of the poor thing.

I'm a flute player but I play a lot of other instruments. But flute has always been my favorite instrument.

WHOO! im a flute too! my section leader is snooty and i can't wait until she graduates and leaves us alone.

i have two: amorette and ophelia. they're my babies and i love them.

Ive been thinking about naming my flute but I can't come up with a good name crying .... for a while I was thinking about naming it Pacifica. shes mah baby^^
