The fish flailed away and spat at Joe through the water. He tumbled back in the current as it rushed him again.

The fish lunged out of the water after Joe, following him seven feet into the air before it crashed back into the water.

"Good Christ!" Joe panted. He realized that he was probably panicking the passengers.
"Keep going upstream!" he called, from his position in the sky. "We'll catch up in a bit. Stick together and keep moving!"
He pondered his next move.

The wyvernfish spat at him again as the passengers continued moving. Joe noticed that wyvern water seemed to be much less threatening than wyvern fire.

The fish followed alongside them, but the simple fact that it was stuck in the water and they were not negated it as a threat.
