Monty nodded and tilted his head to the side. "I would like to know what I have to give if I don't answer your Mistress' question. You do know that I'm not going to be easily told what to do right?" He wasn't submitting to anyone if he didn't know what the cost to answering was because frankly, if this was a question from the Goddess then why couldn't she have seen there little time in the elevator and listend to what the two shared? That was just his way of seeing things at the moment.

Monty raised an impressed brow but he wasn't affected at all. "Why do you want to know? Your Goddess has no connections whatsoever to me. What makes you think I will obey someone from an entirely different realm other than mines? I think your asking questions that will never be answered to you or to your Goddess, respectively." He said, furrowing his brows at the woman before him. "Besides, I'm the least of your concerns. Focus your time and energies on bringing back the elfs voice otherwise it would be sad to see him wallow away in depression." He said with a slight tilt of his head.

He rolled his eyes. "Using your power against the permission of others? Is that how you wish to do things? Answer my previous question of what the cost would be should I refuse your Goddess and then perhaps I may answer yours." He said. He was weighing what answers he could give her that would suffice.

Shaking his head in disgust he glared at Calina. "You dare to use me against Kalore? Your Goddess should want to help her own regardless of others. At least the God of my boss is that way. He at least doesn't ask for ridiculous things." He grumbled and began to pace. "What's it to you anyways?"

Rolling his eyes again he didn't stop pacing. "I hope it's my charm and not just my good looks that she likes." He drawled and then stopped. "If you must know, I distance myself from the elf so that he doesn't get hurt. I will not implant false hope in him." Even though he came to the conclusion that Kalore was something of a friend in his book.

Monty stopped pacing and looked at Calina. "It is not my place in Kalore's personal business. Should he wish to share that sort of thing with me then I am honored bound to keep it until I die." Even demons had honor, especially towards comrades and should one try to reach and talk with him or another then it was their choice and his to respect that. "Just like he knows about me, I apprecitate that he respects it."

Nodding slowly he looked at her. "Then what do you suppose I do? Show weakness to him? Because I am not weak." He turned around and grumbled in his native tongue about this situation and how he found himself in it. "Let your Goddess know that I do consider him a comrade and a friend but anything else that you wish from it will not be possible. We are respectful friends." He looked over his shoulder at Cali. "It's the only thing I can give him."

The demon snorted, then stepped away from the woman and began his pacing. "Are you quite done now? Shouldn't you give the elf his voice now or are you going to torment him with false hope? I have my reasons that you would never understand." He grumbled and continued his pacing.
