The cat looked at Monty's actions with a disapproving look. Because of what she was, and who she worked for, the calico cat knew much more than Kalore did about this. She rolled her eyes as Kalore wrote down, "Not to you guys, don't worry about him." Eri wasn't a threat as much as a...memory reminder.

Monty nodded. "Good. I wouldn't want to be responsible for ripping an important figure's head off. No offense of course." He said casually at Kalore, an air of indifference surrounding him again. He was getting too close to Kalore by asking personal questions and ignored the look on Cali's face. He's seen that look on animals before and he learned to ignore them. It wasn't his place because Kalore and him were nothing but comrades, not best friends or anything like that. There could never be anything more than just comrades and polite friends. At least, that's what he thought.

A small smile was on Kalore's face at the thought of Monty and Eri getting into a fight...That would interesting, that's for sure. Before anything else was said though, Calina looked at Monty, her head cocked to the side with the question in her eyes, "What the hell are you doing?!" Kalore blinked, "C-Calina?" Looking at him, she blinked and he nodded, mouthing out, "Fine fine..."

Monty shook his head at the cat and started to walk over to his shirt, wipping away the sweat from his forehead, neck, arms, and chest. He would need to take a shower, a long one to re-focus. Yeah, that was it. That's what he needed to do. Re-focus.

The wind blew slightly and Kalore's eyes closed, as normal for anyone who was used to things like this. When he opened them, there was a sad smile on his face as he wrote, "We may want to head back...I need to act like I slept and you might want a shower..." At the actions of the boys, Calina shook her head and was sitting right in front of Kalore. He blinked and cocked his head to the side, mentally asking her if she was staying. The cat nodded. Great...

He looked over at Kalore nodded, barely registering him there. It was as if he was going back to treating Kalore like just some random person. He drapped the shirt over his shoulder and started heading back to the tower, not waiting for Kalore. How could he? That would mean that he was caring and befriending someone he couldn't.

It was odd, the way the two were acting. Kalore felt like he was back in the elevator again with Monty, where one minute they were okay with each other, and the next they were murdering one another. Sighing, the elf trekked back to the tower, the cat following. When he got into the tower, there wasn't a look from him to the demon as he went up the steps and into his room. Calina stayed down on the floor.

Monty took a room a that was on ground level and went straight into the shower. He stepped into the hot water and felt his muscles instantly relaxed but his mind was still edgy. It was as if he was denying something. Whatever it was he had to ignore it. He couldn't have his mind out of the game when trouble was still out there. For now, he and Kalore were nothing but comrades and he was going to treat him like he treated the rest of the group and that was with great distance and silence.

Calina easily got into Monty's room without a sound, sitting on his bed. After a while she just sat there, looking intimidating for a foot and a half tall cat. She was facing the door to the bathroom, waiting for him to come out. Something wasn't right. Before Calina had been seen, she had noticed that Kalore and this man were getting at least a little close. And for some reason this man just snapped and became distant. Why?

Monty finished his shower and got out, getting a big towel and drying himself off. He wrapped the towel around his waist, securing it and exited the bathroom to change into the clothes that were folded on his bed but instead there was a cat and that was the same cat from outside that went by the name of Calina. He raised a questioning brow at the feline. "Is there a good reason why you are here? I think it's rude to enter without being invited." He said.

Calina rolled her eyes but didn't move. Cocking her head to the side, the two's eyes met. In Monty's mind there was a sentence, Why are you distancing yourself from Marcessa?" She refused to call Kalore by his first name because only the Goddess herself did that...Plus Calina thought this is last name was prettier than his first.

Narrowing his eyes, he shook his head again at the cat. "I have no idea what you mean." He said normally and went to get his clothes from the bed. "You are intruding on my peace. I will ask you nicely once to leave." He said and walked back into the bathroom, closing it and quickly putting one his pants and then shirt. What right did that feline had to question him? Did he honestly have to share something with an cat about his reasons? No. He wasn't going to do that. He wasn't weak to do that.

Calina's eyes narrowed as well as she didn't move. This wasn't her question so the demon had best be careful. It would be asked once more until she would get annoyed. It was her business because when they weren't being distant, Kalore wasn't bothered with having no voice. Now that the distraction was gone, he was starting to truly fall. He needed someone who wasn't Rave, and Monty seemed to be the only person that really got through to him.

Monty finished dressing and came out looking his usual dangerous self in all black with his wet hair down his back and again he narrowed his eyes at the cat. Crossing his arms, the demon looked at the cat arrogantly. "You didn't obey what I said. That doesn't bode well for you, feline. Now leave me in peace, before I have you removed." He growled softly.

Giving the demon a blank stare, Calina sent the thought, You do understand that I'm not really a simple cat...right? Now, please answer my Mistress' question...I really don't want to get in trouble... She wasn't worried about getting in trouble for not having the information, because if it came down to it, Calina had her ways of getting it. What the cat was afraid of was getting in trouble for putting the demon through something that would be considered torture...
