Kalore was in the area opposite where Monty was attacking, blinking. Damn... He thought. Not half bad... Of course it wasn't half bad, it was amazing. The elf was that way with a bow or dagger, but not a sword. Like he had told Monty, Kalore didn't work well with large blades... Continuing to watch, he nodded. The man was good...

Monty took it up a notch and started to jump on the sides of the tree's and doing rolls to the ground, punching the air or kicking it and blocking with his sword as if he really was in a fight. He was so focused in it that he didn't sense someone, Kalore, watching him. After a few minutes he stopped, breathing hard and layed back down on his back, eyes closed and arms spread at his side, holding his sword tightly in his grip. That was the best he has ever done in a while.

Watching, the man smiled and jumped down to the ground, not blatantly showing that he was there, but if Monty paid attention, he would notice Kalore there. The elf leaned against the tree, looking at all the places where Monty had touched, sensing the slight change there. He wasn't that great of a mage, only being able to do a few things, but Kalore knew enough.

Monty rested enough to notice that someone was there. He didn't think it was a enemy because they would have made themselves known along time ago and it couldn't be anyone from the group inside the Tower because everyone was asleep. The only one that was awake was Kalore. "You know, it's bad manners to spy on someone. Hasn't anyone ever taught you that?" He asked in his normal volume, knowing the elf can hear him.

A silent laugh came from him as a paper ball was tossed to Monty. "I just got here, a little after you started your pretty awesome trick...Not bad, man." Looking around, he walked out, sitting next to him by a few feet. Kalore's knees were drawn up as he got comfortable.

Monty took the paper ball and read it. He crumbled it up and threw it at Kalore's head with accurate aim. "That was nothing. You should really see me in the real action with hundreds of opponents and with no armor on. That is pretty awesome." A slight smirk played on his lips at the memory of such a time.

"Hey..." Mouthing that out, Kalore pouted and wrote, "I didn't hit you in the head..." He didn't write what was in his mind, "This time." The elf still hadn't forgotten about hitting Monty in the head with the notebook. Ah, those were such good times...good times...

Monty turned his head to look at Kalore. "You can't sleep and don't tell me because you don't feel like it or that it's what the other male is doing to help you. Why can't you sleep?" He asked seriously.

Groaning, now Kalore wished that he was actually able to speak because at least then he could use his silver tongue to help. A sigh came from him as he wrote, sloppily for the first time, "I...I'll be able to sleep in a few days. It's nothing big." He shrugged, acting nonchalant about it. The pills were keeping him from sleeping, but Monty didn't need to know that. He had acted harsh against just seeing them before.

Monty shook his head and sat up looking ahead of him. "You know, I'm not stupid, slow or anything of the sort but I will how ever back off seeing as it wasn't my place to question you. Forgive me for that." He said and looked at his sword, touching the blade with soft fingers.

Kalore sighed and wrote, "I wasn't lying...It's nothing to worry about just..." He didn't write anything else for a while and just tore out the sheet and laid it down next to Monty. Sighing again, the man just wrote one word. "Pills."

Sighing softly he looked at the corner of his eye at Kalore but not at the paper. "Take the paper back Kalore. I know what it is. I had a friend who was the same way with those. Just forget that I asked because when he was around he didn't like it that much." He said, sliding the paper away from him. Laying back down he closed his eyes again.

Why was Kalore feeling guilty over this? Sighing, he grabbed the papers, looking at the words on them and shaking his head. Something was seriously wrong in his head. What it was, the elf didn't know. Mouthing out his thoughts, he silently spoke, "I'm feeling guilty...And I don't know why..."

Monty then stood up and looked at Kalore with intense eyes. "Get up Kalore. I'm going to teach you how to use this kind of sword." He said, handing it to him, blade pointed down but still looking menacing. "If it helps to keep your mind off things." He said, with patience.

Blinking a couple of times, Kalore just stared at the blade at first. After a few more blinks he looked up and wrote quickly, “That may not be a good idea…” It wasn’t that he didn’t want to learn, because the elf badly wanted to be able to use a blade, but… It’s like cooking…Really good until something bad happens because the Goddess thinks it’s fun to mess with people… There was a hissing sound behind them as Kalore slowly looked at the cat behind him. I take it back! And the cat left.
