Twirling the glass slightly she watched the remainder of the drink swooshed around at the bottom with the movement. She sensed someone moving about on the top floor but it didnt seem harmful or at least aggressive. She can smell the deer meat from the kitchen as it turned her stomach slightly as it wasnt too appealing to her tastes.
She left the glass on the counter top of the bar as she stepped lightly to the sitting area to the far window and only glanced out to see the garden nearby and the rose bushes she once planted now withered to the ground. She only sighed as memories of the past blurred her mind.

Eva padded around the hallway, her tiny bare feet leaving prints to the stair.
Looking down the staircase, her head felt dizzy, and started to fall forward, only to catch herself on the railing.
"W-whoa..."
Eva blinked a few times, shook her head gently, then started down the stairs.

Draeken stood at the bottom of the stairs against the wall. Hearing the girl come down, he opened one eye and waited. He had to admit he was surprised the girl managed to survive let alone have the strength left to feed herself as was likely seeing as she seemed to have more energy than when he had brought her here.

Sai only slightly turned her head to sense D Standing by the stairs, and the new person coming down. She moved from the window casually as she walked towards the bar for another drink. " This place never seems to change, the weak always seem to find their way to the dojo..."

Small creaks and cracks came from the stairs, and Eva's blanket had appeared from around the corner. A foot had emerged as well, slowly stepping down, and maintaining balance.
Eva still had her glass of water, and was sipping it now and then to keep her throat moist.

Looking over at Sairys, Draeken grinned at her comment. "Is that why you keep coming back to this place yourself?" It was ultimately a harmless comment, meant only to get a rise out of the woman. He was feeling somewhat...jovial today.
As the girl left the stairs he turned his eyes towards her and tilted his head. "So you're awake. I must say I'm surprised. What might bring you here, girl?"

"I just... Lost my way." she said, as weak, and dry voice emerged from the small figure.
Eva had tip toed into the kitchen area, her feet cold against the floor. Reaching outward, Eva had planted the glass of water onto a table with a solid 'thud', and began to eyeball the room in search for something delicious.

Draeken didn't buy her story about losing her way, but wouldn't say anything about it. It wasn't his place really. She would find plenty to eat in the kitchens though. They were always well stocked with a good variety of foods. There was also a storage pantry near the kitchen that held even more.

Sai merely rolled her eyes at dreaken with smirk as she shrugged off his comment. She would only watch the young girl make her way to the kitchen, not bothering to introduce herself unless spoken too. She turned her attention back to dreaken as she couldnt help her eyes from trailing his body once before turning them back to the bar. " You seem to be doing well Dreaken, its been a while.."

Turning his eyes towards Sairys as she spoke to him Draeken shrugged. I'm doing as well as one can in this abysmal place. It certainly isn't nearly as lively as it once was, though I can't complain. I kind of like the quiet this place now has." He noticed how Sairys had swept her eyes across his body, but didn't show any outward sign as to whether he had noticed. Had he recently drank from her blood and molded her powers to his own? He couldn't seem to remember and that bothered him a bit, but ultimately it didn't matter. He had bigger game to hunt...Provided the hunt ever got under way. He didn't like waiting for too long with enticing prospects being hung in front of him.

Eva had found an open pantry. Looking inside it, she found some ingredients to cook with.
Eggs, and a loaf of thick bread, most likely peasant style.
"This shouldn't be too hard. My mother taught me a little bit, here and there."
Eva reached up and placed the items on the stone counter. Looking about her, she found a spice rack, and picked out a few bottles, and began to sniff them.

Keeping his senses open Draeken sensed what the child was grabbing for herself, but was growing rather bored with current events. He had half a mind to try and start things off on his own, regardless of the plans in place. He was just that bored.

Meteorites weren't a terribly hard thing to see in a place as isolated from artificial light as the dojo, which made the fireball streaking across the sky all the more obvious.
However, the main thing that made it obvious was that it was heading straight for the dojo. Curving out of the high sky, the burning object aimed itself at the dojo's enclosure, swerving bit by bit the closer it got, homing in on just the place it wanted to go down.
The closer the meteor came, the more obvious it was that it was fairly large, just a little bit larger than a person, rather sizable for something that seemed to have fallen from space. Were it to impact, the projectile may have caused significant damage to its surroundings. Yet, as it approached, the meteor seemed to be slowing down, not accelerating as gravity would surely have required. Not ten meters above the ground, its speed was reduced to a dozen or two miles per hour, and when that distance closed to about half a meter, the still flaming orb suddenly burst and a young man dropped to the ground.
"YES! PERFECT! Everyone give it up for the king!" Axl raised his hands high, pointing to the sky with his index fingers, as he looked around at his non-existent crowd. "...Oh right, not packed anymore." Axl doubted there was even anyone inside, but still eager to return to one of his old favorite places. Bursting through the door with the same energy he had years ago, he was enthusiastic to look around and see what was and wasn't the same. His clothes were different, now mostly a gray-silver set of pants and coat with a red stripe around his shoulders, and his hair was shorter, but he still had the same indomitable enthusiasm he trademarked.

The kitchen door would creek a little, a green eye and strand of white hair visible for a few long moments. Just as quickly the eye and hair would disappear, the door would close and bang just a little; shuffling feet could be heard, someone was in the kitchen. There was a meaty odur in the air, pungent and wild, some sort of game animal was being cooked or re-heated. Male or female, Axl would have to discover for himself, but he'd have to cut through the thick meat curtain in order to do it. The sound of pots and pans clanking together would be heard, then the removal of a plate from a cupboard. It did not appear that whom ever was there minded Axl being there, this was a place for many travelers wary or in Axl's case, not.
" Wasn't expecting anyone so soon... "
Axl might note several sewing needles and spools of thread lying out on one of the side tables, as well as an invitation to Sairys' lair. The rest of the room seemed rather clean, unusual perhaps considering the life that used to be so abundant there. If Axl were to begin walking to the kitchen door, he'd see a bucket with soapy water and mop leaning against a wall. The floor just ahead of it was wet, and drying. This person had been keeping the Dojo clean while he was there, and by now it had to have been a year or so. Axl would hear a greeting from the other room a few moments later.
" Feel free to wander around, there are rooms upstiars to rest in, a garden out back and the pantry is stocked with deer. Help yourself stranger. "
As long as the new arrival chose not to cause any trouble, Elergy felt he was little threat. Little did he know the man was an old patron of the Dojo, long before he had set foot in this place, the man in the common area had many fights and one could say, adventures here as well.

Noises. Something seemed to be going on outside. More noises from inside this time. Certainly, it seemed that something was going on, as was rather unusual for the Dojo these days. Draeken, having been deep in meditation for some time now slowly allowed his senses to return to the world and stretch out farther than just around his immediate person. Suddenly he was able to feel a vaguely familiar presence. He knew it, but could not quite recall a name or a face, but it made him curious.
Coming into full awareness of the area and opening his eyes, Draeken stood slowly and began to stretch. He had been sitting in what was his old room for weeks, perhaps even months now. The fact it was his old room that he had shared with Phia hadn't even occurred to him however. He had simply walked into it on reflex and hadn't given thought to it's previous occupation before shutting himself away from the world for that period.
Slowly he stretched his muscles back to life, working from his arms all the way down to his toes before repeating it in the same order. After several minutes he rolled his head, popping his neck in a rather disgusting manner, and strode towards the door. Once out of the room he paused, a faint memory tickling the back of his mind before he shoved it away as he would an annoying fly and headed down the stairs to see for himself what was going on and who had arrived.
