Lady Phia

PostPosted: Mon Feb 08, 2010 6:41 pm

"'is clone ye mean...."Phia corrected Xol after he spoke. She too was curious as to why he had brought it up, though, she knew about the other reason, about Sairys' previous ....attachments to the man. To be honest, she had the same hatred and despisement for the clone as her fiancee did. She loathed him still for what he had done to her former husband, turning him into an evil shell of a man. She felt her anger rise slightly still, which Xol would no doubt notice, being a man who fed from dark energy and all things bad but still. That clone always incited the need for for violence in her. Which was out of her character, save for a few moments that deserved it.

Sai would glance at Phia and simply nod, as she mentioned the clone. She would lower her hands to her sides calmly as she didnt feel too threatened anymore around phia but still kept an eye on Xol She didnt trust him at all, phia is a bit understandable and more passive then Xol. She would quickly peer down at her clothes as they now were torn and stained with blood, with a displeased grunt at the sight she would glance back up at the pair. " I will be planning on Making a arrangement to see the Clone sometime, I have a few bones to pick with him myself...I have join the neutral Side of this war for the time being...I will be more then happy to let you guys know what I know of the clone.." She would take a few steps back from them, never turning her back on Xol as it would be noticeable that she didnt Trust him. " My Home is far in the mountains, you two are welcomed to come...as long as we can keep our blades outside.." She would look at Xol with her finishing statement. " as for now thank you for your kind healing Phia, and for blasting that thing Xol... " with that said she vanished in a cloud of black smoke.

Draeken Aakarshan

PostPosted: Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:04 pm

For some considerable time Draeken had kept himself hidden while watching the goings on. People coming and going, Sairys fighting something and Xol and Phia showing up being sweet saviors to Sairys. Things were calming down now however and perhaps he would reveal himself. Yes. Why not? From near one of the corners on the outside of the Dojo, the air shimmered, seemed to tear open then fold back together behind Draeken. No longer hidden, his presence would be known to anyone sensitive to such things in the immediate area.

Flexing his knuckles, the joints popping as he balled his hands into fists and then relaxed them, Draeken looked around for a moment before leaning against the wall of the Dojo nonchalantly. He seemed to be waiting for something or perhaps he was just relaxing. It was hard to tell with the blank expression on his face and the even more blank look in his eyes.

Krono merely stood silently. It seemed that everyone seemed to favour attacking from the inside out. It wasn't the tactic that he was hoping for, but then it didn't really matter in the first place. Attacking from the inside out would indeed have its merits, that was certain. He smirked and nodded silently as the fellow he had just met wandered away. They really were a rag-tag group of fighters.

He still wasn't sure about that Draeken fellow, but Krono figured that he would be quite a valuble asset in the battle to come, if not only for the fact that three was a larger number than two. He also got the feeling that he had seen his fair share of battles. Regardless of all this, he would not ask why he was invested in such a crazy idea. Everyone had their reasons, and sharing it was left up to them.

He turned to his good friend Zero and got a forlorn look. It was true that he had come to the Dojo to find him in the first place. But upon not finding him, he came up with an insane plan to follow through on and had no intention of dragging his good friend down with him. It was too late and he knew it. There would be no changing Zero's mind.

Krono had sensed multiple other people showing up arpund the place, activity had picked up. He couldn't help but wonder if this was due to the angelic forces not far from here. If that was the case, any one of them could be an enemy, and this he did not like. He put his hands in his pockets and sank back into the forest to go over battle plans and strategies he had thought of. He had a couple of trump cards up his sleeve. One he had partially told Zero about, and that would probably be all that was needed to win the upcoming fight, but it still didn't hurt to go over other options.

For time being Draeken ignored the others nearby and focused back on Krono. "So. From within will be the plan or perhaps we should rethink things a bit more before jumping into battle? I'm fairly easy going with most options really." He said blankly. He may have ignored the goings on nearby, but something was still gnawing at the back of his mind, that much was apparent. What exactly, he likely wouldn't tell Krono in idle chatter.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 01, 2010 3:58 pm

Krono had not sensed Draeken coming closer, he was deep in thought over what was about to unfold and what plans he would envoke in the upcoming battle. When Draeken spoke, it had been the closest to startlement that Krono had come to in quite some time.

The thoughts snapped off an instant and he gave Draeken a half grin and a slight nod.
"From within seemed to be the plan with the most support. The only concern I have with that is right off the start our space will most likely be limited. That can be remedied as the battle continue forward though. I'm not too concerned about that."

Krono got the feeling that there was a certain sense of irritation in the air. He couldn't tell if it was from Draeken or from the recent activities that had gone on nearby. Emotions had a nasty habit of lingering places, haunting them like a spirit that refuses to pass. Of course over time they dissipate, just like all things.

"The activity around here sure has picked up. As a rule I try to avoid people, but especially now. I don't know if anyone around here might be allied with the enemy. Don't need to be discovered before the battle is initiated." He chuckled lightly at that. He spoke the turth. As much as he was looking forward to the confrontation, he didn't want the festivities starting to early. That would be a shame.

Nodding intently Draeken seemed to have put previous thoughts out of his mind for the time being. He was focused on the plan that had been roughly drawn up before. "Making room in a constrained battlefield should prove little of an obsticle. Provided at least that our enemies aren't ridiculously resistant to everything I could throw at them." Looking back towards where the others had been he frowned, his light blue eyes darkening and seeming to smoulder coldy. "As for those others...I know not which side they will choose, but I would not hesitate to eliminate them were they to choose to stand on the opposite side of us."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 04, 2010 10:39 pm

Krono looked at Draeken intently, analyzing him as he spoke. It wasn't out of some malicious or cold idea, he simply was curious about this individual. He couldn't get a real sense on what drove the man to make the choices he made.

He couldn't come to any real conclusion at this point in time, but he was pretty sure that there was history between him and either one or several of the individuals that were nearby recently.

Regardless, he heard something that did his heart good. Two things actually. One was that he would not hesitate to eliminate those that stood between them and their goal. The second was the very fact that he had used the word 'us'.

Krono took a few steps toward a nearby tree trunk and leaned up against it before sliding down into a sitting position. He smirked and looked off into the distance where the angel encampment lay.
"I don't know the reasoning for your joining up with Zero and I, but it's good to have you on our side." He paused momentarily and shifted his gaze to Draeken. "If some personal enemies join in on the fun....well we'll just take care of that as well. The more the bloodier as they say."

Krono chuckled and closed his eyes for a moment. Some days he questioned if he really was insane.

"The reasoning?" Thinking for a moment on why exactly he had chosen to enter in this fight and side with them Draeken shrugged. "Perhaps it's because of the odds." Whether he felt the odds were for or against them, he didn't say, but it was implied in his tone. Whether he lived or died did not seem to matter to him. There was only the fighting and the battles. Only death.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 04, 2010 11:08 pm

Krono couldn't help but smile at that comment. It seemed that Draeken wasn't too far off from himself and most likely Zero as well. Death simply was no big thing. It didn't matter what the reasons for not fearing death were either. If you were immortal or you simply did not fear the act of dieing, your combat abilities were much better. At least in his personal experience that was the case. Those who feared dieing had a habbit of pannicing when the s**t hit the fan.

"That is a quality that I find to be increasingly rare to run into on the battlefield." The odds comment had just generally amused him. Almost anyone would say that one person against the entirety of heaven was pure insanity, and they would probably say three wasn't too much better either. But then generally speaking, most people were idiots.

"Numbers only account for so much. In this case I don't think it is worth all that much.

"Hmpf" Was Draeken's reply to the first. He could barely remember much of his past anymore other than a few happy moments surrounded and outnumbered by painful ones so Krono's statement held little bearing to him. He supposed it was true, however. Numbers were another thing he wasn't concerned with, though. "One can never tell whether numbers will be the deciding factor until the battle is done."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 04, 2010 11:37 pm

Krono chuckled and let out a small sigh before he stood and dusted and his hands off on his jeans. He couldn't tell if he had offended him with the mention of any personal enemies or if he just didn't care. Either way, the reaction was amusing to him.

Krono nodded at him and looked towards the encampment once again. He felt that skill and power of the individual soldiers was far more important then numbers. If the enemy had the skill of a fish out of water, then it did not matter how many of them there were. He was not so foolish to think that the forces of heaven were poorly trained, he simply felt they were archaic and outclassed. Well for the most part anyways.

You speak truth, though the same can be said about just about anything really. You usually can't know what the deciding factor is until everything is said and done. Krono ran a hand through his golden hair absently and smirked before adding, "Most of the time that is."

Looking in the same direction as Krono, Draeken inhaled sharply then slowly exhaled. "Very true. So when do we start?" There was no anxiety in his voice. No anticipation. Just simple curiosity as to when the battles would start and he could spill blood upon the ground. He didn't sound like he looked forward to it or that he was hesitant.
PostPosted: Tue Mar 09, 2010 12:57 pm

Krono gave the question a little thought. It was something he had been considering for the past little bit but had not come to any deffinite conclusion.

"Well we should probably wait for Zero to return, he said he had something to grab beforehand...or something like that." He chuckled at that and shook his head dismissively. "I'd say as soon as he gets back here and the three of us are ready. Waiting around for them to detect us isn't something that appeals to me greatly."

Krono cracked his neck and glanced over at Draeken afterwards. "How does that sound to you?"

Draeken nodded. Sounded reasonable enough. He didn't particularly like waiting to be found either. He much prefer to catch an enemy unawares than simply broadcast his presence. The sooner Zero got back the better. "Let us hope he returns soon then."
