"You said you'd come back with answers about our situation. so you got someone else to help. thanks for the heads up."
Men. Before walking on by and noting that Hunter was already talking to what she assumed were the silvers the kid mentioned. silvers, and golds. interesting.
"Yes I'm sure, we're just lowly little humans. But here we are, none the less. we got a dragon in some trouble, I'm sure you might know other details seeing as one of those star pests went out this morning. We're looking for a method so he doesn't cook in his own skin. You know, so we don't have to explain his death away to his parent."

Why was she putting that jacket back on? Had something to do with her eyes no doubt...or something else. He just knew she wasn't leaving this ship with that jacket covering her. Reaching out and snatching it from her, he tucked it away then started walking. "Traps? I thought I sensed something akin to that. They are dragons and dragons supposedly hoard and guard things, right?"
"God help us all." He frowned at Hunter's word choices and then stepped forward and bowed his head in deference. "What my bumblingly awkward mate is trying to express, m'lady, is that we'd be most indebted to you if you would assist us. I believe the Laerethe have already explained our problem to you and I was under the impression your agreement had been obtained. Is this not so?" Then giving her a rather charmed smile. "It is quite amazing we haven't died as of yet with all the many perils our journey has thus far found us in. I'm sure you are aware your sands are not always hospitable to the likes of us but we don't have the benefit of your secrets either."
Eilynne knew she needed to get back down and remove the barrier and thus, she reappeared near Jaebelltiah, shaking her head. "Rahsaveer. Chant with me. Their acquiescence has been achieved and we tarry too long." The two stood, quiet to outside observers, but those who knew them well would know there was a great deal of spellcasting going on. The shimmering barrier steadily began to brighten until it was lit up to a near blinding glow and then, when the intensity couldn't possible be any brighter, it simply disappeared.
Rising above deck, she watched the humans attempting to garner the dragon's assistance. "The ill lies beneath."
"Someone else to help? I assume you are referring to the silver then?" Snorting derisively since he and the silver both knew neither could do it alone. "Good luck to you then." Shaking his head and patting his younger companion on the back. "Learn this well, young Shaleon. Never commit an offense against someone you think is unneeded. Things are rarely what they seem and many times that unneeded entity is the one you need the most."

She reached out for her coat the moment he snatched it...but she wasn't going to get a hand on it she was sure. Well damn it why was he being so difficult. Infuriating. "Yes...but these ones are also out in the middle of nowhere, I'm sure they don't like visitors." Stepping off the ship, she noticed the slick smooth feeling under her boots. Oh yes, she was going to hate this.
He was snatched up by the front of his shirt and held off the ground with one hand and the other held razor sharp claws to his throat, points pressing into his still human soft flesh. A growl laced her words, "You would better hold your tongue and keep it than speak ill of the Laerethe. And you wonder why we see you as such lowly things when you know not where to show respect for creatures that you would not exist on this plane if it wasn't for them." Dropping him, she turned her attention to more bravery from the red haired woman and her first mate apparently. "And flattery will get you little to anywhere out here. But good try. As I told the Laerethe...my associate and I would confirm things and then see what can be done." Damn gold. "Once he arrives, we'll see to whom you speak and then what further can be done."
Oh that was amusing. She stiffled her chuckle though. "Still...any help is appreciated...and I'm sure you'll be wanting payment as well."
Well...that would save her from tearing a ship apart or from zap frying herself but was it the best idea to let loose someone in her state of mind was the other question. Yet she merely stood on the landing of the stairs leading upward, fearing that if she went too far she'd lose the stability of the environment created down below. Thusly for the moment she settled on a warning growl to top deck, letting them know if they didn't get this thing moving soon she was coming after them all. They could not stay in one place. Not at all.

"I state things as they are. they haven't done anything to help me and mine except watch us nearly get killed on several occasions to find things they made the arrangements for us to get hired for."
Brushing himself off.
"and if you think a little growling is going to leave me quaking in my boots, guess again."
Glancing over at Desi who was coming up with...apparently the aforementioned gold.
"I take it that's the other part of our jury and judges?"
Desdemona noting Hunter being manhandled and rolled her eyes. He never knew when to keep his mouth shut sometimes, did he.
But she walked ahead and over to hunter, brushing his back off a bit and straightened his hat out.
"These are silvers. they're very serious types. try not to aggravate them, please?"

"Can't blame them. If I lived in a place where I didn't want to be bothered, I'd be doing the same thing. But my traps would kill, not just trap. Is that the same mentality here?" Glancing around and watching where he stepped. This was going to be far more dangerous than he'd originally thought.
Robbins rolled his eyes as Hunter shot off his brash mouth once again. He'd tried his way and Hunter had tried his and neither of them had worked too well but that was alright. Trial and error after all.
He wasn't surprised that these humans didn't show the respect they should and it was against his better judgment to even show up. After being treated so by the bronze, he'd returned to his duties but Shaleon hadn't left him alone about it. They all knew she needed him and it was hardly fair to allow one of their own to suffer because of another's ignorance. "Why should we assist those who cannot show respect when you can just as easily leave our presence and save your friend's life?"

"Don't know, but I'd bet something shiney that they'd more than likely kill you." Though her ears twitched about something and she pulled her compass from her pocket, feeling the vibrations of it spining nad picking a direction, wavering in it's need to hold that point. "Just as suspected."
Another growl…he was sorely walking on thin ice…or glass in this case she supposed. “I should refuse to help you for this instance right here and now. You think me far too generous if I’d let your insolence slide and just welcome you with open claws?” A snort. “Arrogant humans as ever.” It seemed though that there were indeed smarts in this bunch…and a bronze. "Or perhaps you are just to ignornat to see what they have done. Just because you never see it happen in front of your face and you expect others to take care of you when thigns get hard." Obviously there had been some bad human examples before them and she was an old dragon as well and had seen her share. Humans wore her kind of hide as boots after all.
A look up to the undercover gold though who showed little of his scaling out in public in such form. "Another good question...but I told the Laerethe we would at least have a look at the boy, Dyranthirim. We owe her if anything." And a knowing look because she was sure that creature had come to collect something from them as well. "Let us have our look then." Turning a look to Shaleon who had followed after the gold as always. "Keep an eye on them, will you? Maybe get them something of sustinence. Have one of mine help if you need." Thusly clawed feet started across to the ships.
Heavy footsteps on deck had caught her attention and she backed up down the stairs, eyes narrowing and tail lashing back and forth at the sounds and smells hse didn't recongnize as whom she currently knew. Backing up further till she was standing near Kaznec once more, ice creeping again.

"Shiny is my favorite thing. Let's go." Because obviously she knew of something and he wasn't about to pass up certain leverage he could use against certain people. Tugging her in the direction her compass was pointing was easy enough, keeping her from falling on her a** was a bit harder. "Watch it, there's jagged pieces all along this stretch." He knew she did something in her mind that told her where obstructions were but this would help out a bit more.
"Respect should be shown regardless of what has been done or not." But evidently they were assisting regardless as well. "Promises made must be honored. Let us go." He allowed her to go first and followed her slowly down, pausing with a hand on her shoulder. "Careful, she has been marked." That was important to know now wasn't it? He knew things were going to go bad the moment he saw her too pale countenance. Rider fodder....crap. "yth shilta letoclo."
"They speak truly, Jaebelltiah. Stand aside and let them see. Kaznec will not perish, you have my word." Even if it meant giving up the quest for the moment and getting them out of there.

"So now we're being babysat. wonderful."
Hunter crossed his arms lightly, before noting that Desdemona was naked.
"And what were you doing?"
Desdemona rolled her eyes.
"In case you didn't notice, it's hot out here. even for me. So I chose nudity rather then the expending of energy from changing forms with clothing, even if it's only a little. I wasn't sleeping around."
Hunter held his hands up.
"Never said you were. just wondering why you were naked."
Before noting Savvy and her...friend. and the compass.
"Seems like we might be here awhile."

She was surprised he was so on board with her little usurping plans but didn't voice and objection....she wasn't above using him either if it helped. Frankly he did the hard part of picking out safe paths...where usually she tapped her boot toes against things to get a layout...this place wasn't giving much help at all. "You've developed a quick like to my neferious plans. Trying to usurp me for your own joy?"
Yeah it bristled her somewhat that they didn't even ask to board her ship but could see the importance of not fussing about it and just going with it. A look to the little bronze, "Well? How about something indeed? Please?"
"Would you leave strangers alone when they just waltzed into your place, I don't think so." Shaking his head though another glance the bronze female again...or more pointedly her feet. How could she walk around with her feet like that? They all kept their feet digigrade for a reason after all, he could only imagine bare human feet more or less cooking. But back to the others. "Let them decide hospitality is due and then we'll see about this all."
"Marked yes...but it's faint." Well...this was a sight and piece of information that wasn't given out. Made things harder....though she was not above merely knocking this other female for a loop and doing what needed to be done. Two Rider females? It made her trust these ones even less and made her all the more uncomfortable. "We need to find out why they have so many of these...I won't sacrifice my clan for Riders." A look around the place though....that girl was creating this ice...which meant she was one of two things. And that was even worse. "I've no time for subtlety." A throw out of her hand at the younger dragoness, bringing about a gust of wind that threw the dragoness into the far side of the hull. Walking over to Kaznec she knelt down, looking at him. "Indeed I can see Laricalu in him..." Resting her hand against his chest, geeling out his body temperature. Yup he was on his way to dying. "Dyranthirim...come carry him. We'll help."
Thusly turning her attention to the dragoness that was still recovering one firm whack of tail blades to the side of her head put her down as well as her aggressive nature. No, she was not a gentle woman...the desert was a harsh place. And this Rider dragon was about as bad as her companion from this point. Picking her up she looked to the Laerethe. "We'll take them to the common room. I want that sky blue kept under guard and I want all your others companions to be kept together...no wandering." A nod to her gold companion and she started out of the ship. Though again she stopped and her attention turned to a flash of gold. A dragonling too? Gold at that? It made her angrier. "You. Dragonling. Come along with us..."

He chuckled and shook his head then began scanning the horizon for unknown things. "Never that, Savryn. You've got to learn to trust those on your own team." He glanced over to see her about to step on a rather sharp shard that was lying there. He didn't know if she had picked up on it or not but he wasn't about to let her pierce her foot. Reaching out, he slid his arm around her waist and tugged her quickly to his side then just as quickly let her go. "I've become intrigued by this treasure hunt of yours." He was not going to think about what had just happened. He was not.
Still there. He didn't approve of most of her methods but that had never stopped her before. Of course in this case, it was far easier to take the other girl out than deal with her and her marked instincts. He picked Kaznec up, refusing to speak on the woman who had been one of their own for so long and nodded. "We need to move quickly. He doesn't have much time left. Whatever the girl did, it worked for a while but she might have actually lessened his time."
There was no way he was going anywhere with those people. No way. He shook his head and quickly hid behind Gem. "No..."
"Boy, did no one teach you to respect your elders? Come along." Turning his tail to the unspiked side, he swung it so that it slapped against the child's buttocks the way he would with any unruly dragonling. "Now."
Cyvalor yelped and rubbed at the offended piece of his anatomy, once again attempting to hide behind his captain. She promised.
"We don't have time for this." Reaching out, he grasped the young one by the horns and picked him up, carrying him that way while Kaznec was transferred over his shoulder. "He won't be harmed unless he chooses not to listen and then he'll receive the same treatment as any other."
"I can answer your questions once you attend to the dragonlord's son." Came from Eilynne, yes. She didn't approve or disapprove of the silver and gold's methods. Was really uncaring of the whole thing as long as Kaznec received what he needed.

Desdemona wasn't happy.
"Hey, leave him alone. he's got nothing to do with your needs and Kanzec. You've no claim to him."
Stalking off after them on that point.
Hunter shrugged lightly and watched the bronze carefully.
"You know, we're human. we don't have the ability to go long times without food and water. and this enviroment doesn't exactly help much with that. So why don't you run along and get us at the very least, some water."
Patting the skyblue on the head again.

"Team? I've never worked in a team with anyone who's to say I'm going to start now." No really why was he here? Was he here just to keep tabs on her or something? A little nosie as he yanked her but let her go at the same time. "Could you not do that?" Why was he doing that anyway? "Because you think it's going to be hightly profitable." Taking a moment to peek through his own eyes at the structures around...they were all open, only one or two had walls...where would they hide these things?
She blinked at the little gold had come running off the ship to hide behind her. "Treasure?" And she was highly unwelcoming of how these others were talking to him. "Hey now! He's just a little thing! No need to get rough with him!" Frowning as he was more or less picked up like a puppy would be his scruff. "I won't let them hurt you Treasure! I promised!"
She was up in the woman's face in a moment's notice, white scaled passed out dragoness over her own shoulder. "Hush your mouth, human. Because he is a dragonling is the exact reason he needs to come with us." A nod of her head over to another direction that was a tent like structure, though only covered on the top by dragon scales and open on all sides. Indeed resting in the share were a few young silvers being watched over by elder ones. "Even our kind of scaling isn't as well when we are young and too much heat will get to him. Now shut your mouth and do as your told."
She was even more put off by the fact that each of these dragons had Fire and Ice whom both here unconcious. Couldn't argue the fact that was pointed out to her too much though...well this sucked. Glad she wasn't a dragon.
Thusly her attention turned to Desdemona seeing as she was now lagging behind her companion. "Do I need to tell you the same things or did you hear me. You should know such things as well. You can either be a help or a hinderance, though the latter will cause you more trouble than you need."
His tail whacked at Hunter's hand. "Don't treat her like that, she's not a pet." He frowned. "Demanding as ever." Watching his superiors walk off, he motioned for the group of humans to follow. "Don't worry about the dragonling...we'll get you out of the shade and some water then." Thusly leading them over to another one of those tent like structures and indeed fetching them some water before standing guard again.
She purred at the petting but jumped lightly as the man's hand was batted away. A snark at the bronze but seeing as others followed him off hse took to behaving herself. Though she did plop next to Hunter. Why were they acting like this?

"Because you're intrigued by me and you actually like me." He loved teasing her though he attributed it to being her older brother. Just as predicted she became upset with him over his gestures. "You were about to step on a shard that would have not only sliced through your foot but if you happened to step on it just right, it'd have gone up through your ankle as well." Glancing around. "Can your nifty compass give us anymore information than that?"
Didn't have time for this. He growled low in his throat and shook the dragonling to keep him quiet. Regardless of the fact that he wasn't one of their own, at least not that they could tell, he still was required to obey the rules. That also meant suffering the same sorts of consequences. But he carried both of them into the common room, laying Kaznec down and setting the dragonling down rather gently. "Stay there."
He was too terrified to move but he was also too terrified to stay. He'd heard horrible stories about these sorts of dragons... "But..." One look from the older and a flap of his tail against the ground in warning and Cyv shut up.

He pat her on the head again just to prove the point.
"She's part of my crew right now, and if she wants pats for good behavior and hard work, then I'll give them wether you like it or not."
But he kept other comments to himself, and took to passing out water to other as it came to them.
Desdemona kept her mouth shut at the moment but followed after the dragons and sat down by Cy.
"Everything is fine. thier just trying to help and their not very sociable. comes with living all alone out here. how about we just keep Bell and Kanzec company."

"You wish." Shaking her head as she didn't care for his tone or anything else for that matter. "You could have merely warned me..." Not thrown off her center of balance and reeling to find it once more for a few seconds. Another shake of her head though, "It only does but so much but those little shards do have magic signatures on them...why don't you employ that famous Inthara magic hm? If you're going to be around you might as well be useful in some way since you're not shanking anyone." And admittedly he'd probably be grand at sneaking into places. A point to the buildings though. "Maybe there. The little one."
This is why he didn't like humans, they were like that. Especially this one. And he was more or less disgusted with the joy of the blue. "She's a Rider dragon...bringing her here is only nothing but trouble." He was more vocal than his elders, obviously. Crossing his arms and it was all a matter of waiting for orders now.
She laid Jaebelltiah down as well a little ways off, both not looking to make them any more comfortable. "Will his temperature hold or do we need some ice, while you and I do what is needed?" At least they already had some supplies. "I would probably be better to give it to both of them..." a look to the little gold, frowning as the bronze followed but quite understanding as well, being a mother herself. "The dragonling as well." This one would be fine of course with some rest and she joined her companion over by Kaznec. "You know they're going to have to stay for a few days, yes? I'd appreciate if you'd stay as well here Dyranthirim."
