i've played flute for.... (counts how many years) this will be my 5th year ^_^
i play guitar too, but i'm not so great at it and i can play my flute music on the piano so yeah!
flutes are the flirtiest, funnest, people you'll ever meet! we are so crazy!

Now let's have some fun...I've been playing flute for about two years. But I need some help with the high notes. I know the fingering, but all you can hear when I play anything above third octave G is a airy sound. Help? D:Forget about our mothers and our friends

1. It could be the flute. I'm not sure, but if there are many dents in it, that really messes up the sound. Or, if not, there could be a spring out of place. 2. Playing the third octave G uses a somewhat similar method like playing the piccolo, as in you need to blow forcefully, but don't use a lot of air. It's strange at first, but you'll get it in no time. : D

well for one i have been playing flute for about 1 mounth (im getting better at it) smile im not so bad at it im more of a clairnet person but im trying a flute

who there are actually other ppl who play the flute!
i used to play in a....i forgot the name but yeah i played in the for 5 years and now im playing jazz band
totally differnt but i like it

i love playing flute and piccolo. i can mock my firends who play tenor sax and tuba becuase i don't have to carry, like, anything

Neko Kafweenu I don't play piccolo in band, but I've played one before. It was fun xd
There aren't that many annoying people in flute this year, but last year this one girl complained all year that she hated it, and I can't count how many times she said she was gonna quit. Finally she did. stare Thank God. i totaly agree! there are several annoying flute players in my band this year.. ugh. i dont understand why they're in band if they always complain about it? *shakes head* people can be really weird

OH OH! i'm a flutist! yeah i hate all the other flutes, theyre snooty brats crying i just got 2 new gemineheart (sp?) flutes. whats your guys favorite brands?
