Abby's eyes widened at the mention of the shotgun shells, but she was too freaked out to try and object to Arell. Obediently, she checked under her seat and Arell's, finding the case.
"Here!" she said, picking it up and jerking her head up to face forward, her bushy mane of red hair whipping around as she did so.

Perfect. He would load up on shells for his shotgun from that case before they left for Dorian's island. He kept waiting, hoping the cat from before would pick up the phone.
Let's see here . . . big island, probably an army of shells, gotta make sure IT doesn't come out . . . ******** it, time to bring the whole case! he thought. The Cajun Bounty Hunter was just about to get ready to declare war on Dr. Dorian.

The phone picked up and Artemis spoke. "Kitty Co. All your /special/ kitty needs." He was now playing with a ball of yarn out of boredom.

Arell smirked. "We have a lead to an island 40 miles out. Want me t' pick ya up some catnip on de way home?" Arell asked the cat as he looked for a place to turn around.

"Alright, but that's as much time as we're gonna leave out." Arell growled. He was still a little knew to this "taking orders" thing, much less from something fluffy, small, and for reasons he can't explain, had some sort of idea that he was his father-in-law-figure. Okay, get the cat, then straight to the island. No dallying. he thought.

Arell smiled in a calming matter. "Just t' save someone rather importan' to me. Outside of dat, maybe go out fer pizza later." he offered. In truth, he felt bad that the whole mess had happened because of the fight between the gang and Dr. Kane. Of course at the same time, it was better they quit focusing on the bad stuff and get ready to pull off the rescue mission.

Artemis huffed. "Hurry up." He hung up the phone and got things ready to leave, including locking the door. The black cat pranced down the stairs and waited for Arell at the side of the road.

Abby wasn't calmed down in the least. "And yer loadin' up on buckshot? I might be young, but I'm not stupid-- or maybe I am... Gah, this wasn't what I was expectin'-- I was hopin' Tim would give me a tour o' the city! Nothin' to do 'bout it now, though..."

"If you want a tour of de city, we'll have plenny of time when we get back. It's not like Gotham's gonna float away befo' we get her back." Arell said with a smirk. That smirk faded when he found Artemis by the side of the road and stopped the truck. He looked at Tim and Abby.
"Heah's stop number one, y'all. Hope y'all ain't allergic t' cats." he said. Stay on the bright side. Most father-in-law figures would have called a hitman on you at this point, bud. he thought as he got out of the truck after putting it in park. He got down and picked up the cell phone.
"We'd bettah get a move-on, Artemis. Less time spent jawin' 'bout how dis happened, mo' time we got to save her!" he said, picking up Artemis and putting him gingerly in the truck, followed getting behind the wheel himself.

Tim sat up in the truck to watch Arell with the cat before he looked back at the map on his comm link.
"Sorry about this, Abby. Gotta be prepared for things like this to happen."
He looked up at her. She really was panicking about this...
"It'll be fine. Maybe you should wait back at the manor when we go swap out the truck for a boat."

Tim blinked and looked back at his communicator to see what else he could find on Dr. Dorian. He wasn't.... really expecting that as a response.
