((Since nobody has objected to this plan I'm going to just go ahead with it.))
"Alright then." Sai said, mostly to himself. He walked over towards The newcomer and stopped while he was still well outside of his range should he decide to draw his blades. "We will allow you to join us, but only once you agree to submit yourself to an Attack Prevention Spell."
((And I'll just leave it at that...))

Raidek's eyes gave off a look of disgust and anger hearing Sai's proposal, "I certainly will not submit myself to an Attack Prevention Spell...and I am disgusted that you would suggest that I be the one to summit to such a thing, for I am not the aggressor here. I was simply taking some food so I wouldn't starve last night, those ones attacked me." He pointed at Vilya and Kin. "I am innocent in this, and refuse such a thing that would make me seem guilty of anything except surviving."

"You stole from us. I would think that that qualifies as an act of aggression. And it certainly does not make a good first impression. All I am asking for is an assurance that you will not harm me and my comrades. If that is not something that you can give then I do not know if we can trust you. If you cannot agree to the spell, then perhaps you can think of a way to prove your trustworthiness." Sai said to the Stranger in an even voice, never angry, always in control of his emotions.

Tura watched the stranger's reaction with a calm, passive expression. Vilya's distrust in the stranger showed clearly in her mind voice.
She fastened the rope to Tura's harness. They were far enough away that no one would question whether Vilya had said the spell or not.
Vilya said nothing in reply, merely jumped up onto Tura's back. "I think I'll go on ahead and meet up with you guys in town....whatever you decide." She certainly did not like the idea of traveling with this stranger. But if she opted to leave the party for good, she may be leaving her new friends in a dangerous situation. Tura spread her wings and leapt into the air, taking only a few moments to rise above the tree-line and even the strokes of her massive wings.

((Is all right, thank you for letting us know ahead of time.)) "Alright, We'll meet up with you when we get there." Sai said to Vilya. Then he turned back to the stranger. "Well, can you think of a way to prove your honesty. I think giving us your name might be a good place to start."

"Stealing is an act of aggression eh? Doesn't make a good first impression, neither does putting somone in a cage when they are trying to satisfy their own needs. If I had wanted to kill you all, don't you think I would've tried before trying to snag a meal? If he hadn't put me acted upon me and tried to put me in a cage like some kind of animal, we wouldn't even be having this conversation." His emotions seemed to numb and he just stared at them showing nothings, his emotions raging beneath the surface unable to see, to sense.

Kin glared at Raidek with fierce eyes after heard his comment. "Sai, forget about him, we wasted enough time here. We gave him a chance and if he is not going to take that chance then it's his own fault." Kin suggested and turned around, ready to be on his way.

"You're right. We all have things that we should be doing." Sai said to Kin. He turned back to Raidek. "I'll forgive the thievery, but I still would like like an act of conformance from you before we allow you to join us. Unless you can give us that then you had best be on your way. Maybe our paths will cross again sometime, but until then, farewell." Sai walked back over to Stratus and retrieved his staff from his partner then swung up unto his back and settled into a position that would be comfortable for both of them. "Kin, Minatsuki, are you two ready to go?" He called down to them. Stratus thought in his head.

((Ha ha! stolen time. I'll set the scene for the town if nobody minds, gots cool stuff planned biggrin ))
The air was crisp and clear at the altitude they were flying, Tura caught the thermals that circled past and barely needed to beat her wings. The two unconscious bandits were trailing behind her, still in the spell induced sleep the rope had put on them.
Vilya smiled. She was sitting low on Tura's back, a map between her hands. "It says here the town's grown a lot in the past few decades, because the dragon sage made his home there. They even nicknamed the town "Dragon Heart" in honor of him."
"I guess we'll see when we get there."
Tura flat out refused to land anywhere near the entrance, so they came into the town on foot, the captive rogues balanced carefully between the gryphon's wings. The city gates were laden with decorations and from within, music could be heard, merry tunes of a festival in full swing. "Well, this looks like fun doesn't it? I had no idea there was a celebration today."
Vilya just shrugged and lead the way.
The main street was indeed full of people. Everywhere performers cavorted, amazing small audiences and amusing children with simple spells. Merchants lined the houses with their peddling carts, selling wonderful garments and festival toys, but the most appealing were the many foods whose wonderful smells were almost torture for Vilya and Tura. But throughout all they saw, one theme remained solid. Everything was related to dragons.
"Or the dragons themselves yes."Vilya picked up a small biscuit from one of the tables, it was in the shape of a stylized rampant dragon. "I wonder how Sai and his dragon will react?"
At length they made their way past the food stalls and started for the guard house at the town's east gate. A large man in a clean, well pressed uniform sat slumped in a chair by the door. He appeared to be sound asleep. "I almost hate to wake him." Vilya whispered sarcastically. Tura had caught sight of a couple of posters on a board not too far away. The faces on them looked all too familiar. "These two are wanted." She stuck her thumb at the bandits on Tura's back. "Makes sense though." "Ho! Guard!"
The reward was very handsome, and Vilya packed it in their bag straight away. The guard looked like he was about to get angry when Vilya shook him awake, but as soon as he saw who she had brought in he was very polite.
"Of course. You were thinking of cutting the others out?" Tura paused, She said, mimicking Vilya's matter-of-fact tone. Vilya laughed. "Come on you old buzzard, lets use our share to get some of that festival food."

"Well I guess we'll part ways then, perhaps we'll meet again."
Raidek turned and left for the forest, "If you think of anything that will allow you to trust me, let me know if we meet again." He sighed slightly and disappeared into the woods, the heavy steps of Fenrir following close behind him, shaking the ground.

Kin began to make his way toward the direction Vilya went, pretty sure it was the direction of the town. "I'm going now." Kin said loud enough for Sai and Minatsuki to hear as he began walking further away but at a slow speed so they could easily catch up if they needed. Kin had a sleepy irritated expression on his face. It's morning and I'm already annoyed to the bone... He thought as Vix unearthed himself and slithered beside Kin.

"What a way to start off the day."
Minatsuki snapped, still rather edgy from the night before. She was not used to the suspision and doubts that Sai, Vilya, and Kin had imposed on the new comer, but he didn't steal her food so she couldn't say much. By Vilya's unresponded question, Minatsuki assumed the new clothing was hers to take and ripped the sleaves off of the shirt along with one side of the jeans, reveiling her rune tatoos again.
"Let's take off."
Minatsuki called out to Sai, less tension in her voice, as she grabbed her stuff and got onto Asako's back.

Stratus spread his wings to their full and great extent and then brought them down swiftly. He almost immediately bent them at the joints and raised them back up before spreading them and sweeping them down again. He repeated this process several times before he generated enough downdraft to lift himself right up off of the ground. after he reached that point he began to move forward and continue flapping for altitude. He glided around the clearing, gaining height the entire time, several times before he broke the tree line and was finally high enough to soar out over the forest.
In the distance, though and not a far one, Sai and Stratus were able to see the end of the forest and the beginning of grasslands. They could already see the thermals, the great updrafts of warm air, rising from the ground to hundreds of feet up.

Seeing that Sai was already on his way and Minatsuki about ready, Kin decided to pick up his pace but still going somewhat at a slow speed since he knew they would all meet at the town anyways. Kin said suddenly. Vix hissed.
temporary group. Not to mention learn and create a few more spells and battle tactics for out next mark...> Kin explained as he walked, his mind sort of wandering which wasn't like him...

As soon as Sai took off, Asako kicked off from the ground, stretching her fiery wings. She ascended onto the sky, towards the direction that Vilya had made off to. When Asako was in the air and more stable, Minatsuki's tense grip slowly relaxed off as she let out a long quiet breath.
<... Are you ok?>
Asako's head turned back slightly, though her speed did not slow.
<... Maybe you should pass on the next battle with the sage...>
Minatsuki's eyes closed slowly as she drifted onto a light sleep. Feeling her slow and regular breathing, Asako relaxed and focused back towards the front, already spotting the small dot of the village.
