Name: Akin
Age: Actual age unknown.
Race: True name of race unknown, nicknamed Soul Husks.
Appearance:
Akin himself has little to show. The voiceless, barely sentient being is no taller than a eight year old child, and just as terrifying. His skin is made of some kind of rusty black substance that flakes at every movement and then, as if on fire, turns too a dark smoke that hovers around Akin for a few seconds before losing its form. He has no gender, therefore has no need for clothes, and simply travels as he is. Planted on his face are great yellow eyes with no pupils, and the only other feature is a distinct nose. Akin has no way to use a voice that doesn’t exist but that doesn’t bother him as much since there is more to this sad excuse for exhistence.

Special abilities (if any):
Akin has the weary task of harboring souls. These souls rest deep inside the silent demon’s form, unconscious and unaware that their mortal bodies have been destroyed. For Akin, there are five souls he controls, though not to their knowledge. He has collected this cohort in years, letting one out lucid enough to believe it still lives and travel for a time until releasing another one of the souls. Each soul takes its original form, hiding Akin’s hideous body in their shadows. Some of these souls have different ideals and abilities than their other counterparts, but all serve Akin with oblivious loyalty. Though what Akin truly wishes to gain out of these souls, no one can be sure of.

Ethan Cottle:
A simple man of twenty-six, Ethan once lived alone in an apartment building in San Francisco, running a popular bookstore. He did surprisingly well in his business, and lived comfortably until he was murdered in a robbery that commenced a week after he got engaged to a woman whom he adored. However, Akin has removed all the memories of the murder as well as the girl, believing that they would get in the way of Ethan’s performance. When Akin decides to have Ethan’s soul take form, the black childlike shape decomposes into dust. From that dust, Ethan’s soul intakes the remains and the particles form into his past body. He was lightweight, with medium length brown hair, and a neat pair of jeans with a white long sleeve collar shirt.
After his soul was absorbed by Akin, Ethan’s polite demeanor as well as his knowledge of the English language awakened dormant abilities. Now, Ethan is able to understand all languages spoken in his presence, as well as return the speech to the person. His light voice has an influential tone that somehow affects those around into a positive outlook toward him, winning important persons trust easily. Akin and Ethan share the same mind and mouth, so Akin can force Ethan to speak whatever he wants as well as plant idea’s that Ethan will commit to. Other abilities lie dormant, unseen by Akin.

Russel Statz:
Another soul from modern day Earth, Russel Statz was a resident in Russia, carrying out orders that were from an employer. Orders to murder. And he was good at it. However, he wasn’t good enough for one job. All ready under the curious eye of Akin, with the help of a previous soul that could aid in illusion so he wasn’t seen, that was watching avidly. Russel died, was absorbed, and made a permanent part of Akin’s troupe. Seeing that his guns wouldn’t last long in combat since the bullets would run out quick, Akin installed into Russel’s mind the martial combat that he knew and improved it dramatically. Russel spawns as a six foot man, with long dirty blonde hair. He has dark jeans, with a cohesive belt, and a longsleeve black shirt and vest. He is the strongest of the five, and the most brutal. His awakening as Akin’s servant has awarded him with faster reflexes as well as increased strength.

Tian Calhoun:
The only female of the five, Tian is not from Earth, but from a separate world who’s soul wandered away from the path and fell into Akin’s clutches. She is an innocent as she can be at first glance, but is a deadly influence. A young Drow that was a skillful hand of her leaders, killing powerful influences of enemy nations, she led private wars against many nations. Tian wields multiple daggers, some for throwing, others simply for close combat. Her long grey hair is pulled back in a pony tail, some strands hanging here and there. She is thin but takes advantage of her slim form by slipping into darkness. Her stealth has been advanced beyond normal measurement, now with the ability to completely conceal her form in a shroud of energy that blends in with her environment. She has an intense fear of Akin, but does not know of him and therefore is afraid of an unknown evil that completely surrounds her.

Pallik:
Pallik is the youngest member, at the tiny age of twelve. He is a rather peculiar specimen, his exact race is not completely sure. He was a drifter at the time he died, but his past is in scrambles that even Akin’s efforts to discover Pallik’s lineage has failed. From his appearance, Pallik appears to be some kind of goblin-gnome possibly. He wears a small brown and tan tunic that hangs loosely off his thin arms. His shorts are in the same state, his bare feet and legs protruding from the pants legs. A short tuft of brown hair and his pale green skin make his appearance rather strange at first glance, but he is as kind and cheerful as Akin will allow him. He has no real weaponry, since his small form doesn’t give him any real skill over any weapon. However, Akin has discovered a great secret in the child’s confusing structure. If Pallik desires so, he can cause a number of effects on a host by a simple touch. Once in physical contact, Pallik, or mainly Akin, can retrieve memories, information, cause the foe to faint, or even remove memories or alter them. Pallik, clueless and joyful as he is, takes little notice of these effects. In fact he completely loses his consciousness in this state when he dislikes his ability being used in such a way that he blacks out and Akin takes complete over the task.

Larkand:
The final soul that occupies Akin is a blade master of unknown origins. His soul had been wandering aimlessly, as he did in life. For how many years, Akin was sure it was at least six hundred. As he practiced with this new tool, he learned that Larkand was a useful human. The blade he wielded was of fine quality, and his stance of fighting with it was remarkable. Larkand’s form was simple, a 5'8' tall man with a tattered grey robe tight on his large body. His sandals were made for the stance he took, and his black hair was unkept, but easily dealt with by tying it back. A dark stubble rests on his cheeks and chin and upper lip, furthering his rough form. The blade is tucked neatly in a scabbard that is tucked in a tight belt around his waist. Roughly the oldest of the five, Larkand has gained an ability while in the presence of Akin. His blade now can further his attacks with a sharp invisible energy that extends the striking distance with every swing. Blunter than actually cutting with the sword, the energy is tough and will act more like a hammer than a blade. Larkand is the soul of the five that is most lucid towards Akin’s presence, claiming that he is infested with a demon, feeding off his soul. Which isn’t far from the truth.

Russel Statz: Hand-to-hand combat as well as anything around that can be used as a weapon. (Chairs, tables, etc.)
Tian: Daggers
Pillik: Only the ability Akin has awakened.
Larkand: The sword that is a source for his own growing ability.

The only character with armor is Tian. She has leather armor such as a breastplate, leggings, and armor that clips onto her arms.

Fighting style (if any):
Russel: A martial style that he and Akin have developed
Tian: A stealth related combat stance.
Larkand: A form of sword fighting known only to the residents of his own homeworld.


Other info/ backround:
Akin has the ability to confront and talk to the Souls that inhabit him if he so wishes.
Each of the souls histories are distorted and only essential memories are allowed to remain, so as not to cause as much confusion when they are summoned forth.
