lunashock My little brother has severe eczema, he's had allergy shots the whole works, etc. Actually, my dad got this Rx from China, from when he was over there a few months ago, he pays good money, but it works awesomely. How is everyone's little ones doing? How are YOU doing Mommas? Thanks for asking, Luna. I'm doing okay. I'll be doing better once they give me the results of my mammogram, though. stare I had my first mammogram done in December because I was still having what seemed to be a bit of milky discharge (even though I stopped breastfeeding four years ago). Anyway, I was asked to go back in for another one and they kept focusing on this one area - yet the technicians couldn't tell me anything. xp I hate being left in the dark! It was bad enough developing the prolapse problems after delivering James (that's when my uterus and bladder dropped). I'm supposed to have surgery for that but I keep putting it off. Ick! sweatdrop So, what is this special cream from China called? I have a prescription tube of Elidel, which is okay. The worst place that I get eczema is on my eyelids. redface But I find using the baby shampoo on a warm facecloth helps the most with that. wink

Oh fletchen, hugs, I hope you get good news. I was soo scared last year because my mom had a mammogram and they found a spot and did a biopsy, it was just a calcification? Prolapse uterus, I remember my husband telling me about that, he had several patients with that. I remmeber him telling me how they did the surgery and everything, I can ask if you want, when I email him tonight.
Yeah my brother used Elidel, but it's sooo expensive too! My parents were really worried because he's had to use steroidal cremes for his skin and that's never good for you. Especially with all the health problems he had when he was younger. Luckily, he's been done with his shots for awhile though. I know his skin would dry out so bad, his skin would split, had lots of problems with impetigo too.
I'll ask my dad again, I want to say it's still very expensive, but I'll pry it out of my dad for you.
I hope Eric gets better, bless his heart.

hey lunashock,
I heard from my doctor this morning and I guess they're going to biopsy it. Yuck! It's probably just a calcium deposit, but my grandmother had breast cancer so the whole process just terrifies me. eek
As for the prolapse, I've gone for physical therapy which has helped but I eventually should have the surgery done because of all of the pressure - but it's not terrible. I have a dropped bladder and uterus that developed following a long labor with my youngest. I've already had a rectocele repair so I'm in no hurry to do surgery. stressed Thanks for offering to ask your hubby! wink I'm just going to wait before having the surgery because I'm just not ready. Elidel is expensive. I'm so glad that I have health insurance that covers prescriptions or I'd be in trouble. Don't worry about asking your dad about the cream. I was just curious what else was out there that works for eczema. wink

Just reading through and I saw some mention of eczema.
My hubby was recently diagnosed with it, but we still don't know much about it. Right before he was separated from the military, he was given a prescription of Elidel cream, but does anyone know of any other remedies we could try?
Background info: He never really had it until we moved up to DE. I don't know what causes it, but he's got it now. Sometimes it goes away, but other times it's really irritating to him.
Anywho, I was just looking for any info, links, or experiences anyone may have with it since y'all had mentioned it some. ^__^
