(Your ego is your weakness, one easily taken and abused by an opponent. Dri'sah could be Links, downfall. But sadly the guild would never let such an event happen. I have other plans anyhow.)

The door opened and a sweating Dri'sah exited the room. The Academy was mostly empty, save for a few other Sith that called it home still, even after Lord Krayt had begun his conquest. This was Dri'sahs home planet, born and raised. Well, trained more than raised. His second saber hung at his side as the Sith carried his main saber, one that would ignite a purple blade.

The ruins of the city of Dreshdae, partly restored by the Dark Lord as a fortress and base of operations aside from the restored Acdemy. Now that the Dark lord resided on Corescaunt, the planet was little more than a home ground. But some members still called it home.

Stepping through into a hanger withing the restored city. Dri'sah peered over his magificant ship, Sabre. As the hatch lowered, he stepped up ontop the ship. Soon after, the sound of powerful, yet small drive-engines 'pured' through the hanger and the ship lifted up, and shoot out of the world.

((I may have an Ego, but Link does not. Its with him that you'd fight. And dont pull the crap that the Guild would never let Link die because he's that popular. He's my character. not the guild's. When have I ever let the guild's opinion get in the way of me doing something? Regardless, Link would straight up pawn Dri'sah, Haldiir, and that Link-ripoff Graus all at once and still have enough energy left to punt your Jawa Jedi Master into a black hole. Your iridonian could only hope to last a few seconds against Link, even with two lightsabers.))

Sven watched as the Prime Minister of Utapau appeared on screen, dressed in his formal best. It was a Utei, as expected, although a different one than the one Obi-Wan Kenobi met decades ago. However, because of their longevity, this was only the second Prime Minister since then. "Master Sven, welcome to Utapau."

The officer nodded. "Thank you, Prime Minister. We're very gratfeul for your hospitality."

The tall alien gave a nod, but not a smile. "Of course. We will give you what we have. Just be reminded, we cannot feed what armies you bring with you."

The commander nodded. "I'm very aware of that. I've made all the necesary arrangements."

The Utei nodded, and made a gesture to his advisor. "In that case, we will grant you permission into orbit, and allow you to dock with what meager facilities we have. Defenses will remain in our control, of course, though you are to work in tangent with our own administrator."

Sven nodded. "How many ships are under Utapau's command?" The intelligence, he of course had. He merely didn't want to seem rude.

"Two of your Star Destroyers, once used as garrisons here, with some smaller freighters. A good many of your nimble fighters, but nowhere near as many as I'm sure you have."

Sven nodded. "Thank you. I'll contact him shortly."

The man nodded, and cut the transmission. He turned to his lieutenant. "Statistics?"

The man brought up a display. "Two Imperial Mark-Is, one Stalwarth, one Acclamantor, a dozen corvettes, and literally hundreds of TIEs and Interceptors."

"We can use the bigger ships. Scrap the fighters; the're better off as new ships anyway."

The man nodded, and gave the orders, as the ships eased into defensive perimeter throughout the system.

Reido sat at the controls of his starship, an unlit tabac cigarra on the lips of his tapir-like snout. His shaky hands attempted to work a pocket ignighter as his black eyes darted about the cabin and the space beyond the canopy transparisteel.

“Damn shizno Jedi…damn spook filled scrap yard…” he managed to light the cigarra and took a calming drag off the rolled tabac stick. He exhailed a blueish cloud of smoke and his nerves eased.
“Shouldn’t have let the fool board that ship alone…” he muttered as he cast a glance to the wicked looking ship floating outside nestled in the Crimson Queen’s exposed innards. “Poor dumb shizno’s just gonna run into a hole mess of pirate spooks and traps…get his sob story spoutin’ choobies in trouble…’this one can handle it, he isn’t afraid of spirits’, yeah right. Should be packing heat instead of those damn sticks…like to see how a dead man handles a blastbolt.”

“Ye be surprised there, lad.” A deep, rumbling and disturbingly disembodied voice replied.

Reido froze, the cigarra hanging from his lip as his multifaceted gaze swept the cockpit.
He was alone.

He took another lengthy drag. “Its just in my head…its just in my head…its”-
A warning light went off on his control panel. He sat up in his chair, his hand’s dancing across the panel as he tried to lock down the problem.
Someone else had just crossed into sensor range, and for the amount of disturbance generated by the grave yard, the nebula, and the surrounding asteroid field, it had to be something big.
“Krayt’s black bones…”

--------------------------------

The ship’s locks responded to Cale’s Image caster, the airlock hatch irising open silently. Link jetted in through the twin airlock doors, both sealing behind him, the last with an audible hiss.
Hearing that, Link tabbed up his suit’s scanners. Numbers and text flashed on the interior of his visor.
The ship’s life support and grav system was apparently active. And from what his suit’s glowlamp indcated, the ship was remarkably clean. Despite the atmosphere, there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere.

Link discarded the suit near the airlock, sliding his saber back up his sleave into its holster and sliping his bokken into his belt. Now suitably armed, he drew a spot lamp from his belt and flashed it across the passageway.
“Now to find the helm. The more this one sees, the more questions arise.” He muttered.

The interior of the ship itself seemed unusual. As he passed along down the ship’s Green and grey corridors he noticed sections of the vessel seemed to be not only composed from standard metal, ceramic, and duraplast, but also pumice-like stone, fibrous chord, and some sort of thick, leathery material. And it all seemed to be connected and fused together. Vein like wires and glowing green standby lights protruded from the walls and ceiling. All in all, the ship had an overall alien feeling that was strangely discomforting. Under his feet, he could feel the ship tremor slightly, rhythmically, as the artificial gravity system worked to keep him on the floor.

Link had been on many transports and freighters, even a few military craft.
But this vessel was foreign to even his experienced eye.
“Ancestor, what kind of ship did you buy?” He found himself asking the ether.

Something small and heavy bumped against his heel. He spun and flashed his light down upon an odd little creature; a multi legged insectoid with a stony shell not much larger than a microwave. It crained a solitairy eyestalk upon the human it bumped into and bumped against him again, seemingly trying to push him aside.
Bemused, Link stepped out of its way and the creature started sniffing the floor with a wide flat proboscis, inhailing the dust Link’s boots had tracked in and then skittering on its way, vanishing into a crawlspace three meters ahead of Link.

“Stranger and stranger.” He muttered as he shined the light of his glowlamp into the oddly-creature sized crawlspace. It seemed to go on deeper, branching off in all directions.
Shaking his head, Link pressed on.

He soon came to a closed, sturdy blast door which opened at his approach. Beyond was a spacious bridge looking out over the bow of the ship and allowing a comprehensive view of the vessel’s surroundings. A handful of computers, switches, foot pads, and levers sat before a trio of control chairs, two near the front and one in the center of the room. The center one was far plusher than the others, black Corellian leather with a cup holder and ashtray built into its arms. It even seemed to posses a massage function.

“Must be the captain’s chair.” Link said dryly. “Rank seems to have it’s privileges.”
In the center of the Captain’s control consol sat an impression large enough for a rurik-root tin.
“An image caster, compass, and an ignition key? What can’t this devise do?”

Curious, Link approached the consol, activated the device, and set it into the impression. The device secured with a click.
And the ship failed to start.

Then a hauntingly beautiful female voice, emerging from the speaker of the image caster, began to sing an eerily familiar song:

The stars shine bright
Twinkling in the night
Those distant points of light
Call out to me

How I wish
I could set my soul free
And sail that endless sea
That spacers call home

Astral sights take my breath away
Like a magnificent cosmic play
Performing eternally
In that dark matter sea

What awaits me
Among those twinkling lights?
Is it pain or delight?
Or star crossed love?

Link had heard this song before, had heard Leida sing it four years past. But where did Cale hear it from?

“Pappa?”
A child’s voice called from the open doorway and he turned upon the sound.
There in the open doorway, was a white haired, dusky skinned little girl with large violet eyes. She rubbed one eye sleepily with a balled up hand as she clung to a stuffed bantha doll.
“Papa, is it time to get up?” She asked in a tired voice.

When she set her eyes upon Link, saw his blond hair, lean muscular frame, swordsman style garments and the twin bokken at his belt, all signs of drowsyness vanished.

The girl’s eyes glowed with a sinister lavender light.
“You’re not Papa.” The girl spoke with a voice that no little girl should ever be capable of: a deep rasping, snarling tone that sent chills down one’s spine.
Link’s hand snapped to his Bokken. Just as fast he found himself smashed against the deckplating, his very being weighing far more than it should.
“Jedi!!” His comlink snapped. “We got a problem!! The Hutt followed us!!”
The girl’s sinister eyes fixed upon Link’s comlink. In that instant he reached out with the force, attempting to throw the girl out the door with a push.
Nothing happened.

The girl’s gaze flickered out the bridge’s windows. Forcing himself to turn around Link saw a disturbing sight: a small fleet of modified Huttese cargo freighters were approaching the Crimson Queen, all bearing far more guns than what should legally be possible.
“This is quickly becoming a very, very bad day.” Link groaned.

Kusei pulled the databook from the consoles top and dropped it in a satchel. Then with a flick of the wrist she punched in the three letter code for the program she'd written into the Base's computer system, "eqt." Then pulling the cyberport from the computer she pulled the satchel on and glanced at the small squad of plaguetroopers leading the surrendered base personnel out the door, "We've got thirty minutes to evacuate."

With that alarms began to activate throughout the base, each speaker yelling out the countdown to the base's destruction.

Tantis, stood quiet behind Sven. Arms crossed he did as he thought good and the impression of the Prime Minister was not so bold neither did he show a little fear when he set off the words... In that case, we will grant you permission into orbit, and allow you to dock with what meager facilities we have. Defenses will remain in our control, of course, though you are to work in tangent with our own administrator. He was quite bold and daring.... Tantis may have to keep a watch out.... He watched as the Roan Fel came out of Hyperspace above Utapau, and it began its descent to its surface. He would accompany Sven to the Surface and to the meeting, he would follow and guard him. He will also be his insight. but something didnt feel right with him at all. Something feels out of place.

The little ship shot out of hyperspace and started immediately toward the planet Bothawui. Fina just layed on one of the bunks in the side room of the ship, thinking. I wonder how Sven will like the short trip...? Fina wondered, then mentally shrugged, guessing he'd only think that it was reasonable she give up... Finding the emperor was like finding a certain one microscopic germ in the ocean of Kamino...

Fina walked to the front of the ship. "Don't land..." The pilot immediately pulled away and started further away from the planet before settling for a spot to float around at. Fina looked at her Datapad. She had the frequency for a certain someone...

Blix Ilob was someone Fina had come in contact with before... He'd demonstrated a certain ability to handle a large hammer and a spear at the same time quite well to escape from a mission gone bad. He beat up everyone, but was lacking a way out because his partner was dead, so Fina helped him out since she happened to be in the area. They were friends but he still owed her a favor for another time after the first incident. Still, his information gathering was quite good, so she figured that she'd give him a call and see about what was dug up so far on the emperor...

A bothan with short black fur and white hair trailing just past shoulder length answered the com. "Blix... Still doing well?" She said immediately, before he could answer. He merely smiled. "Haven't gotten into too much trouble since... And when I have, i've got my little friend here to help me out..." Fina just chuckled "Well, I'm here on business... I need to know what you guys have dug up on the Emperor's location..."

"Well, we've come up with absolutely nothing, Fina..." He said, then sighed. "The man really knows how to hide." Fina sighed. "Alright... Thanks Blix... Bye." She said. He gave a nod and then turned the comm. off. "Alright... We're going to meet up with the fleet. This search is over for now..."

Once the transmission cut, Sven let out an audible sigh, with a certain someone on his mind. He looked to Tantis. "Is something bothering you?"

The Shuttle soon landed, and within moments, the troopers and Jaden loaded themselves and their gear on, and headed back to the Pillar, before they were all blown into bits.

"No. Im fine I just didnt like his tone... But their tone is all the same so nothing shouldn't bother me there.... But........ Something is out of place... And you know me. Im not the type to find out about something when it is sprung. I like to spring whatever it is, when I know what it is and how to counter... I beleive a very intelligent officer once taught me that... This tactic has saved my life more than once." He smiled at Sven.

Sven nodded, as he watched some of his picket ships enter the yards. "As you wish..."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 6:47 pm

Tantis watched along as the ships began to move to their designated positions, "So what is that you plan to do now?" He asked, His voice calm and cool. He looked at the crew and could feel the warmth and clamness they had within them. It felt good to him. He breathed in the warmness.... He then looked at Sven..

The man nodded. "We'll go to the planet briefly, be friendly, maybe stay the night, and be off. The ships have the rest of the day to muse around as they see, and we'll re-mobilize in the morning."

He started walking torwards the door, destined for their shuttle in the hangar. "Tell me, you can feel others in the Force, right?"
PostPosted: Tue Feb 27, 2007 7:09 pm

Tantis knew it was a solid plan, and it would bold well for future negotiations. When sven asked him the question, ..you can feel others in the Force, right.. He was caught off guard first in his life... but it was bound to happen... And it all hit him this was the vission he had earlier. It seems his in for alot of things... "Yes, i can." Tantis replied and walked one step behind Sven.

Sven shifted his gaze a bit, as they entered the lift. He pressed the proper buton.

"Yes... well, I was wondering. You're aware of our the Loyalists came to be? After the Battle of Wayland, I mean. The Triumvibrate we have..." He watched as the levels zoomed by, approached the hangar.
