Mai-lin sighed and nodded. "Thanks, Pei-kun... I don't want to go back to my appartment cause then Ran will yell at me for waking her up and I'm not in the mood to fight and...I'm going to try to not fight her...Just like you told me to. It's gonna be hard though... I still won't like Mist nins." She closed her eyes and sagged a little, putting her head in her hands. She peeked out from between her fingers and grined slightly. "Yuhi-san is very cute. Maybe when you're older you'll turn out like him, ehh Little Pei-kun?" The teen teased.

"I hope not, he's a royal pain in the a*s!" Kei said and made a face. "What do you think is so cute about him anyway? Just curious..." He added so she wouldn't think he was jealous.
"Sake is good for forgetting stuff. If you want to think about something, then stick with tea." Yuhi said as he walked towards the door. "Your head will thank you for it too. Anyway, if you're heading home, my house is in the same direction. Mind if I walk with you? It's not same for a female to wander around after dark, even if you are a Jounin." He said, thinking of his mother had said it. She too had been a Jounin but that didn't save her from being jumped, raped, and killed...slowly.

Mai-lin shurgged, "He's just good-looking, I guess. ANd I didn't mean in the way he acts, Pei-kun! I mean the way he looks. You could do to take after him, some, wah?" SHe grinnned and reached over to ruffle his hair. "Aren't I right, cause I know you want girls all over you when you get older." Her smiled lessened a notch as she said this but quickly reutrned back to normal.

Kei pushed her hand away. "Maybe someday I will but right now I want to focus on my training. Before I do anything else, I want to have the strength and ability to protect my family, friends and everyone else in the village. Or anyone else who needs help." He crossed his arms over his chest, "As far as the looks though, I look more like my mother than my father." His eyes drifted to another picture of her that sat on the television. He got up from the couch and got it, then sat down again. "See?" he handed Mai-lin the picture.

Mai-lin took the picture and held it up to Kei's face. "Wow...She does look like you...well, you look like her." She lowered the picture and blinked "She's really pretty. When you get older -and your training is done- you'll find someone this pretty!" She gave him the picture back. "And I can tell you're going to b a great Ninja."

Kei blushed a bit as he took the picture back. "Thanks. I've told you before that you have potential. We both need more training if we want to become strong Shinobi." He got up and put the picture back then gave her a smile. "You should probably get some sleep. It will help your energy return faster and I need to do the same. Maybe tomorrow we can train together again."

"Hm..Alright, then perhaps I'll just relax the rest of the night." She grinned, nodding a Yuhi. "I'd like that actually. Most of the weird ones are probably leaving the clubs now." Anekio followed him to the door. Where she was going was probably ten minutes before her house and a graveyard is pretty odd at night anyway.

Mai-lin smiled and nodded. "I'd love that. 'Night Pei-kun!" She the reached into her pocket and grabbed the picture of her brother. She unfolded it and smoothed it out. "Good night Li-wu." She held the old, worn picture out to Kei, "That's my brother and me. My dad took it right before Li-wu left to go on that mission. He made two copies and we each had one. I wondered where it went cause no one ever found it. Maybe whoever killed him took it. I know he wouldn't have lost it.

"I hope you're not talking about me when you say that, Anekio." Yuhi said as he held the door open for her, then followed her out. "Weird isn't normally the word people use when describing me, you know." he said with a grin. "Though everyone is entitled to their own opinions."
Kei sighed and began to think that she'd never get his name right, but shrugged it off. "I wonder who'd want to steal a picture of your brother?" He asked as he looked at the picture of an attractive male. "Kinda strange if you ask me." Before he forgot, he moved the table in front of the couch. "I'll set up the bed if you want to get yourself a pillow and a blanket. There should be some in the closet down the hall, first door on your right."

She laughed quietly and started walking. "Not you. You could never be weird, huh?" Smiling widely she added quickly, "Though I do remember a little boy that could've been. Know anything about it?"

Houses burned despite the fact that it was pouring out, lightning flashing and thunder rolling so loud it went to the bone. People ran around screaming as ninjas wearing Mist headbands cut them down. There were a few shinobi from the Hidden Leaf, but they lay on the ground in pools of their own blood and water from the rain.
A woman stood in the middle of the street, surrounded by dead bodies and covered in blood. In one of her hands was clutched a bloody kuni, at her feet lay one of the Leaf shinobi, unmoving. Two Leaf-nin charged at her, murder intent in their cold eyes, wanting to avenge their fallen comrades. The woman killed the two shinobi with little effort, smiling as she did so.
Tori woke up screaming. "Not again!" She said after catching her breath, though her heart was still pounding in her chest.
She had been plagued by the same nightmare for four years now. The more she dreamed, the more she didn't want to remember her past. It was becoming hard though; she'd have a flash go through her mind and it was never pretty. She was beginning to fear that the woman she saw in her dream was herself. If that were true, Then it means I'm a monster.
((I've been working on this dream for a while and am finally somewhat satisfied with it. It's still not exactly like what I had planned, but good enough. sweatdrop ))

"That can fit so many people that you'll have to be a little more specific." Yuhi said, returning her smile. "If we were talking females, you'd definitely be number one. Or at least the scariest." I'd never want to fight her, that's for sure. He thought as he walked beside her.

"I think you know who I'm talking about." She grinned for a moment before giving him a distant look most, if not all, Uchihas had. "What do mean by that? I'm normal!" She shouted, spotting the graveyard a few meters away. "That's my stop up there. I can make it the rest of the way if you like?"

Yuhi laughed and looked in the direction of her gaze. Why is she going to the graveyard? He didn't say anything about it though. "Sure, If you you want. I have something I need to do before I go home to 'talk' with my father. I'll see you around soon," He said with a smile, "I hope."

She stuck her tongue out at him, running upward. "Good luck with Sarutobi-sempai!" She shouted waving.
Once she was at a far enough distance not to be seen she slowed down, counting each step as if it were another second of her life. What could go wrong? Sure, Father never approved of me going to see Itachi-san, but who'll have to know? She grinned, pulling out the photo. His glare in the picture reminded her of her the other survivors greatly. A soft hand ran over the long hair of the mass murderer. "He was perfect." She whispered, knowing the man was her uncle, but she could very well careless.
Opening the old, wore gates, she travled farther and farther down into the home of the dead, shivering slightly with anticipation. All her life she wanted to see the man's grave, bring flowers to it, and even thank him for being so kind as to kill her entire clan and ancerstory. It sounded odd, but Anekio was exactly that. <********! I knew I should've brought flowers to honor Uncle, but it slipped my mind. She paused at a gray stone. Written deeply across it was: "Uchiha Itachi" Her clan symbol followed as well as his betrayal date, birth, and even death. "A year before I was born, Uncle. I wish you would've seen me at least once, even if it had been my death." She whispered as she carefully 'put' the man in her pocket.
