"Jake," Moa whispered. "Don't move, okay?"
Fourunatly, Moa was whereing to shirts, so she took the top on off and ripped it into strips. Then she soaked some of them in a nearby stream and began to clean Jake's wound. She had taken care of people with these kinds of wounds before, and she knew what to do.
"The potion should work, but just in case, I'm gonna clean this out. It might hurt a little though, so I'm sorry in advance."

"Ok" Jake said. When the cold water touched his wound it did hurt, but not much. "I guess I was right our deal working in my favor"

Moa smiled. "I guess so." She paused, cleaning his wound gently. When she was done she started to say something, then instead leaned down and kissed him quickly on the cheek. She smiled again, blushing. "I'm glad you're okay, Jake."

Ithildae's eyes widened slightly in surprise, then she smiled.
This was an unexpected twist. It looked like two of her friends were finding love.
Then her smile faded a little. What would happen to them? What if one of them were hurt, or worse?
And below that, a small part of her whispered, When will I find someone?
She stepped on that part of her. It wasn't the time to think about that. It didn't matter right now.

Eurogon saw Oplains were coming this way and said quickly: "Oplians are coming. I´ll go hold them back so you guys can escape." and runned and attacked to that group. There was 30 swordmen atleast.

"Hmph... There they are again..." as Chronos knocked out some Belian swordsmen by hitting the hilt on the head. "It's hard not to kill someone..." as he talk to himself.

Moa began to bandage Jake's wound, though it was already decreasing in size from the potion. Moa went to stand up, but winced and stayed sitting on the groud. He whole body ached from the battle, and her many wounds bleed and stung.
Moa glanced over at Ithildae. "You alright?" she asked her.

Eurogon striked his sword and shout: "You guys won´t go any further. Grant Cross!" Few minutes passed and Eurogon was in seriouse pain, but still he kept grant cross on field and said: "How thought are thease guys? I can´t keep this on mutch longer or I´ll die." Finally thouse swordmens died or passed out and Eurogon said: "That was close." and walked to Moa, Jake and Ithildae like his right leg was broken. He passed out.

Jake blush a little after Moa kissed him and then he saw Eurogon pass out. "I don't think any of us will last much longer in this war. Were injured, and were outnumbered too. Look at the battle. It seems that there are more dead men than are alive." Jake looked at Ithilldae. "Maybe it's time we surrendered."

Ithildae's eyes suddenly snapped. "No. Never. They began this." she hissed. Something had changed in her whole aspect. Everything about her blazed with hatred. "I will not let them win!"
She looked at him and the hatred changed to misery. "I can't believe you would suggest it." she whispered. "I thought you at least would understand!"
There was the shock of the betrayed in her voice.
She turned and went back into the battle.

"Hmph... Some of the surviving soldiers, retreat with the injured soldiers!" as Chronos ordered some soldiers to retreat. "Others, come with me!" as they charge forward.

Jake felt a surge of guilt, but shook it off. "Don't let your pride turn to madness. And if we win, if every Ophillian lays dead on the battle field, what has been accomplished? There is no winning or losing in war, only death or more death."

"Jake is right, you know! What comes from war, except death?" Moa yelled to Ithildae's retreating back. She paused then said quietly, mostly to herself, "And this is just one battle..." she felt tears, but pushed them away with little effort. This one battle had taken the last of her family. She would not feed it with her life. Moa heard a whimper, and turned to see Skezmeck licking one of her wounds. She smiled at him.
"It's alright, Skezy...I'm okay." She looked back to Jake and said, "You're right for not wanting to be in this war anymore. All it is people you don't even know trying to hurt you. Like whoever cut you like this," she gestured to his wound, and pretended to look away, but kept on eye on Jake, shearching for his reaction. Something had told her that Jake hadn't been injured by a stranger.
