Chloe had been pressing on up ahead, but she paused, hearing a familiar voice. She shivered from the cold, but looked back, spotting Nona, or, more accurately, Nona tackling Kaya to the ground, brightening immediately, as she dropped back in pace a bit so that she was even with the rest of the group. While she was quite eager to make it to the heated interior of the Pokecenter, she was definitely glad to see their friend.
"Hey, long time no see," Chloe greeted with a smile, pulling her arms into the sleeves to warm up a bit, and unconsciously scooted a bit closer to Kaya and Bio for the extra warmth.
"How've you been?" Chloe asked, wiping off a bit of the snow Kaya had obtained from his tumble, "Things here have been interesting. We're headed up this way to catch a ferry to Kaya's home," she explained, "Took us a while to gather, I suppose. But meeting up with you again was worth it! Its been ages!" she grinned.

Bio had a look of terror on his face when he heard the orgasmic groan come from Kaya, though not meant in such a way that there would need to be anything to worry about. It's cold, it's wet, I don't like it... the little Magby thought, squirming a little.
"No kidding! It's been ages, Chloe!" Nona hugged her, too, though less as enthusiastic as Kaya. After all, she didn't want to get her covered in snow either.
Smirking a little, she scratched one of her ears with her hand, following along with the group to the Pokemon Center. "I've been good...just training Bio and Nevermore up here for a while. I thought these higher-level ice-types would be good for him, you know?"
Then she heard the news of going to Kaya's homeland. "...Awesome! I'm coming with you, you know that." She smiled, knowing they wouldn't mind. After all, she was a part of the group before, why not now?

"Yeah... that... would be my fault..." Brayden piped up as Nona inquired on the state of most of the rest of the group, "Once we get to the Pokecenter, I can tell you what happened," he offered quietly, "I'm not entirely sure on all the details, but I can give you some idea... I think," he frowned, not sounding entirely sure. They were on the outskirts of town, so he still had a bit of time to gather his thoughts a bit before they made it to the Pokecenter.
Brayden hung back a bit as the others conversed, a bit sheepish, especially when he saw how the cold was affecting both Chloe and Kaya. Under a bit of extra guilt, he still was glad to see Nona. It had been a while since the group had been together. He flushed a bit at Kaya's exclamation, but averted his gaze, finding the snow suddenly really interesting.
"This does seem like a good place to train, though," he commented after a bit, "Especially with the stronger ice types that call this place home."

Nona hung back a little too, seeing how Brayden seemed a bit...off...
Bio exclaimed in protest, squirming a little more. "BEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" He didn't really like the wetness of Kaya, but...There wasn't much he could do.
"Bio....Honey...we're almost to the pokemon center..." she lied. "....Don't worry, you'll be off of your wet friend Kay in a few moments..."
Bio disdainfully grunted, and shivered himself.
Nona nodded to Brayden. "Yeah...when you're training a fire type, of course. I wouldn't take Dante out here, he'd be slaughtered in an instant." She sneezed again, rubbing the tip of her reddened nose. "...Is everything okay, Brayden? ...Is something wrong?" Of course, she had no idea what had just transpired (and real life Nona's looking at the posts before she posted as soon as she's done here), so she didn't know that asking may not have been the best of ideas.
Ah well, thus is Nona, that one person who comes in at the worst possible moment with the worst possible thing. Like her first semi-gym battle with her mother interupting and forcing her to come home...

"Yeah, definitely a fire type haven. I'm sure this would be a good place to train Gin a bit, but I don't think I will for a bit..." he admitted. He wanted to make sure the others were alright before doing anything at the moment. And while he certainly was a bit chilly in short sleeves, he was ignoring that at the moment as well. After all, it was his fault.
Brayden nodded in response to Nona's question, "I'm alright now," he commented, although he wondered if she had seen what had happened. However, after a moment, he realized that she probably hadn't witnessed it. But it certainly did look a bit suspicious, he realized, having him be just about the only one (save for Ricardo, who had joined up with them later) that wasn't covered in an unpleasant layer of frost and slush.
"Put simply, I attacked them..." Brayden muttered quietly, before taking up the trek resolutely towards the center once again. He appeased his nerves a bit with realizing that he could see the lights from the center up ahead.

"....Purposely?!" Nona bopped Brayden on the head lightly, as though to tell him, "YOU DON'T ATTACK YOUR FRIENDS PURPOSELY." But without shouting, of course.
Bio was now content, now that he had used a fire-type move near the freezing and shivering huddled masses, that it would be at least a little bit more dry. He hoped he didn't scorch them, but...what could be done?
"...Wait a minute....you wouldn't do that! Oh, I'm sorry, Brayden..." She began to rub the part on his forehead where she bobbed him lightly, appologeticly. "I need to stop reacting when I first hear things...What happened? ...Was it...you know, like my Focus Punch thing, or something else?"
She played with the ring that had fallen from the sky, still on her finger, subconscoiusly while talking. Those rubies...they still looked like Haunter's Eyes to her. It was really creepy, but in a good way.
((Oh, and Kaya already knows this, but she didn't see or hear the story about the weapons and armor and the "Plant Prince" or anything...so she still has no idea what the ring does. I do, but she doesn't. Just a future refference...))

She turned backwards, and began walking, while still talking to Brayden, a bit faster to try and make sure the others were okay and not hypothermic.
However, what she didn't see was a large, ice-covered rock right in her path, as she continued to walk backwards, keeping making small-talk with Brayden about this and that and how the rubies on the ring looked like Haunter Eyes...
This was the point about when she was going to hit the rock, topple over, and scream in pain, right?
WRONG!
She just...passed through it. Weirdly. She didn't even notice it going through her, until after she passed through it and saw Brayden avoid it.
"...Where the hell did that Rock come from?" she asked, not putting two and two together.

Chloe had whole-heartedly agreed to Ricardo's suggestion to heading a bit more quicker to the Pokecenter. She was definitely up for warming up a bit indoors.
Chloe had been following along behind Nona and Brayden, listening quietly to their conversation, but not really adding anything to the dialogue. However, she had a hard time not noticing when Nona suddenly phased through the boulder ahead of her path. Chloe paused mid-step, simply staring for a moment. The cold of the snow temporarily forgotten at the moment, after all, what the girl had just done had provided quite an interesting distraction.
"What... what happened?" she gawked, coming up beside the other two. She tentatively reached out to touch the rock in the path. Nope, quite solid. There was no way she'd be passing through it herself. Baffled, Chloe looked to Nona.
"Did you know what caused that?" she asked the girl curiously. She hadn't noticed the strange ring around Nona's finger, or she would have probably guessed the truth about what was the reason for the sudden insubstantial display.

Kaya felt the intense heat of Bio's attacks and for once since entering Mt. Coronet and successively moving closer Snowpoint, he felt warm. After a moment, he noticed that Bio's attacks had generated enough heat to steam his clothes dry.
"Wow, Bio. Thanks." he told the Magby with a grin as he set the Pokemon down. He was certain the Pokemon would immediately return to Nona, so no worries about him running off entered his mind.
He witnessed the girl's display of otherworldy non-human power and he seemed to be the least surprised by it. "Nona...do you happen to have anything in your possession called the Wicked Ring?" he asked her, recalling the book from Canalave. "That was, undoubtedly, a display of the ring's ability to make the wearer intangible." he explained to the others. "Ya know, unless you don't have it and you're just pulling a hell of a prank on us..." he added, truly hoping there was a better reason than that for Nona's walk-through-a-rock-backwards trick.

Bio quickly ran off, back to Nona, who was still rather confused. She picked up the little Magby, and held him close to her. "...I..." she started, raising an eyebrow. "...Wait, a ring?"
She shifted Bio in her arms, so that her hand with the ring was free. "....I don't know about any 'Wicked Ring,' but...This one fell out of the sky and hit me in the head while we were at Sasha's mansion."
"...Is it the Wicked Ring?" She extended her ringed-hand, showing off the ring with the Haunter-Eyes rubies. "I didn't get a name for it, it just fell from the sky...So, is it like the Focus Punch thing I can do? Or is it...like...something else?"
