Laini catch his eyes, mostly just by accident. She got a little surprised tremble, what if the other was in the pride and would need excuse for her being here. Though, probably he would ask then... or not. You never knew about those lions. Even though that lionesses were generally worse than lions.

"Err... Hello.." the lioness said, unsure should she move away or stay in this one spot. At the same time, she examined the lion before. He seemed a bit annoyed but maybe she just have had a bad day. Anyway, she should be careful now, right? She didn't want more scars than those on her muzzle.

Vashtya
Almost stumbling at the sound of her beloved son's voice, Us'kali felt tears streak their way down her silky muzzle. "Ama." she breathed, loping forward again with newfound determination.

Slinking up behind Us'kali, Binti raised her hackles, wary of the adult lion who, although he appeared somewhat worse for wear, nonetheless presented an intimidating sight. Allowing a soundless snarl to creep across her face, she clung closely to Us'kali's heels.

More cautious than Binti, Shujaa kept his expression decidedly neutral, although his hackles, too, were raised. There was something strange about the elder lionesses behavior around this new lion.

Ama Galu'nadi was indeed in less than impressive condition, that was true, however the appearance of an unknown lioness behind his mother brought the defensive side of the adult lion to life. Charging towards his mother, Ama quickly, yet carefully pushed his mother away from the younger female. He didn't know any better, that they knew each other. All he had seen was the silent snarl on the face of the younger, and her following close behind his mother. Seemed as good of a need to defend as any. "Who are you?" His voice was ragged, his breathing just as staggered from the effort he made, but he did his best to sound like a formidable foe.

His ears flicked as he watched the female, and he raised a brow. It was one of the only females he's met that was actually his age, all the others have been older.

Hearing her greeting he sighed a little. Why did he run into a lion every day now? His tail flicked a little and he continued to step foward. The bird, upon seeing another lion, seemed to fly away, not wanting to be harassed by two lions.

Asi's head tilted as he looked over the female, and then he met her gaze. "Er, 'ello." He said in reply, watching her still.

Laini stood up, slowly, taking few steps back. Sign of submissive and noble thoughts. If he would want, she could easily leave. It was no problem to her. Better to leave cowardly than to fight and get hurt.

Though, he seemed to be unsure too, just like she. Maybe he didn't want to hurt her after all. That was the reason why she didn't hurry up leaving so much. And well, they were at same age. That, well, it meant something. Every other she had met were older.

"Um..." she started, her voice and expression at least unsure as his. "Friend or foe?"

Asi snorted and began to laugh, mainly from the last comment. "Aye, 'oo asks tha' upon meetin' with a stranger?" He raised his brow lightly. "I do no be friend and I do no be foe, I do no know yew." He offered a small smile, and cursed Ari inside his mind for turning him into a softie. She hadn't known she was doing it, but slowly she was.

"Ah, okay then," she said and the relief smile came upon her face. That he would not be foe, was enough. She took a sitting position, swinging her tail nicely around her feet. She tilted her head a bit and just watched him.

He blinked lightly and raised a brow. "Wha' do yew call yerself?" He questioned, slowly sitting as well. "I be Asi." He stated.

"Laini is my name," female replied. So, now they knew each other by name. That was a step towards friendship, she guessed or at least hoped. It would be good to have at least one friend out there.

He nodded slowly, frowning just a bit. I do be getting to used ter others bein' chatty. he though. "Laini? alrigh' er... noice ta meet yew, I guess." He stated, brows raising. His tail flicked a little and he glanced around. "Do yew come frem far off?"

"Nice to meet you," she said politely. Well, the start seemed nice. She raised her gaze up to the sky where behind soft clouds last stars were silently fading from the way of the sun, which colored the sky nicely soft light pink to light blue and every shade between those two colors.

"Yes, I come far away," she said then, suddenly and gently. "I have been followed the river so long that I have lost count of days." She glanced to the river, not smiling anymore.

Laini just nodded and after a little moment, she layed down. She seemed to be little in her thoughts, though she still listened. "From here? What kind of land these areas are?" she asked then, glancing him from there below, where she was laying.

He snorted and shrugged. "Really dull lands?" He smirked slightly, he was only half kidding. These lands were really dull.

"Ah, I see. Nothing exiting happens?" she asked, halfly curious, halfly joking around. She tilted her head to other side and gave a little smirk.
