Chaos sat slowly, watching Lotus as she travelled. So that was her plan. His voice resonated into her mind. I won't be waiting for you Lotus...If you attack me though don't expect an easy fight... His hand rose up and he whispered out loud and in her mind, "Snip, Snip, Lotus" Suddenly she could feel their connection simply, disappear. He had been keeping it alive. That line was now dead, his fingers had made the motions of scissors. Now closed, the hand fell back to his side as he watched the 'leaders' before him.

Chaos wouldn't hear her, see her, or notice her emotions any longer. She was seperate from him. They no longer had a connection he had formed with her. That's how he knew what it was. He created it. It didn't matter any longer though. He waited as the men began to get tired from sitting around and talking all night. He himself wasn't sleepy as much as simply tired.

((Chaos will have forgotten her by then...and the Revolution will be over XD This is going to turn out almost like Rurouni Kenshin is a weird twisted sense whee ))

Yumi, who still sat there up on the roof, suddenly felt the hunter in her wake up. Maybe it was the darkness, maybe it was because of Chaos, who seemed to be on his guard. She stood up, looked around, then suddenly jumped to the next roof. Chaos could only feel her quickly disappearing.

A few blocks away Yumi finally stopped, she had found it. Even though this was the first time Yumi visited this small town, she didn't have a hard time recognizing the city's Shinsengumi headquarters. She landed right in front of the door, scaring the two sleeping guards. While straigthening her kimono Yumi opened the door, ignoring the useless guards. She requested to meet the highest ranked person in the building immediately and because the confused guards didn't know what to do, they just showed her the way.

After an 30 minute conversation Yumi left the building smiling, behind her she had 20 armed men.

Many blocks from the house Yumi stopped. Only with a handsign the rest of the group, both those moving down on the streets and those up on the roofs with her, stopped too.

"Yes?" The man behind her looked confused.

"Silent, we need to do soome organizing, this is not your usual opponent!" Yumi gave the man a vicious glare.

While Yumi was still discussing with the men, a shadow appeared behind her. Only a few words she exchanged with this shadow and then it disappeared again.

Heh, this village isn't as bad as I thought it was. But I still don't have any skilled fighters... But that doesn't really matter does it? I'm only here to have fun. She nodded to the men around her then moved back to the roof of the house Chaos was protecting.

The men took the positions Yumi had given them, surrounding the house. The men had obviously split into two main groups, attacking the house from two directions, the sides. A moment everything was quiet, then everyone attacked at once, moving into the house through the windows.

Chaos knew it instantly, he could see it all behind his closed eyes. The number, the skills. How many even and his ears could pick up their heartbeats. There was an earth shattering scream of pain from one of the windows as the first person through fell on his face, both legs broken from the breaking of the windows reinforcement. Chaos doesn't smile nor move. He simply wasn't there. As the men piled in through the window there was a sudden movement, a swish from the shadows.

A flash of silver moved and men were screaming in confusion of the dark house. Only the moonlight helped anybody...and it wasn't in this part of the house. The frantic cries for help continued as men bled speaking of an oni with golden eyes. Finally after a total of 5 seconds the men were all dead. Bodies were piled up and Chaos was gone from the room. He was now in another as men searched the house. Most just now rushing up after hearing the screams. Chaos counted without a thought his mind in a condition that was perfection. He knew the shadows, and the were with him.

He was gone after the last. His blade slicing in silence, the man in the last falling to the side into the shadows. Another dead. His blades resheathed as the man closed the door behind him. Chaos counted slowly in his mind and listened at well. Then there were sounds of men mummering with 'Oh my God,' and other such phrases. Sudenly twin silver streaks sliced a X through the door at which point Chaos burst through into the dark room. Some moon light pushed it's way in, slightly blinding the men. Long enough to take out another third of them. By the time their vision adjusted he was in the shadows, invisible. They were screaming about killer shadows.

At this point half of the remaining men, those in the room at least stayed, the rest ran in pure fear. Those throughout the house ran out as well. No one knew that it was one man. Their men were falling, and all they had seen was a shadow shifting and flying through the air. His screaming blades finally made noise as they sliced through the rest in 3 quick movements with the brother katanas. Nearly as soon as they had been unsheathed, they were back into their sheaths.

He looked over the dead bodies, listening to the Shinsengumi screaming in fear as they ran. They were scared out of their wits of the haunted house. The one with the killing shadows and the screaming Oni blades. Things had happened in there that they believed no man was possible of, or so they thought. Chaos still held no aura or power around him. He was not in the building to even Yumi. He was an invisible force.

He would walk without sound to the room where Yumi had been before. His voice sounded out through the broken window up to her. "I see you got bored Yumi...entertain yourself enough?" Chaos stared out into the night sky. The men were safe at least. That was his main objective. He had just managed to kill approximately killed 15 of the Shinsengumi men...in under 3 minutes. His work was precise and quick, bringing death upon those who sought to take him down.

Chaos looks out at the sky, his eyes slowly moving over it. He didn't falter his movements. He knew where she was. Her presence wasn't hidden that greatly. He stared out. "No I shan't...they aren't under my protection when they leave...at that time they are under the protection of 5 high level Meiji assasains. So I'll be staying here fortunately...did you need something?"

He turns to look at her with those golden eyes. Those piercing eyes of doom. "I learned my skills from those whom the sword making and fighting came from. I was taught by those you'll never know...But it doesn't matter...Again I ask. Did you wish for something Yumi?" He turns his back to her now looking at the wall.

Chaos watched her and slowly shook his head. Not in disapointment as much of lack of interest. He stood there watching for a while and simply shook his head, turned and walked to a corner. He let his power, aura, and presence disappear. He simply didn't exist any longer. He faded into the darkness with ease. Now unless a person walked in and tried to sit in the corner or something of that like, he wouldn't be found. He was simply, not there.
