My name's Ordinary Joe... I used to be a massive reader but with a lot of exams from Christmas up to a few months ago along with a part time job I couldn't read at all. Getting back into it this summer with Sophie's World. I don't really have a favourite book but the last one I couldn't put down was either Joseph O'Connor's "Star of the Sea" or Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird". I'll read pretty much anything, and I've ancient copies of War and Peace I'm hoping to polish off this summer after "Sophie's World" and "The Book Thief".

'Ello. My name is Nesting Comments. I'm 19. I used to read constantly, but between work, school, and fanfiction, I really haven't had a chance to pick up many new novels. Anyways, I've got several favorite books, authors, and series but I'm absolutely in love with Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card), the Old Kingdom Trilogy (Garth Nix), The Blue Sword (Robin McKinley), and pretty much anything by Tamora Pierce. As you may have noticed, I'm a big fan of fantasy books, with a minor in SciFi. And that's pretty much it.

...birds creep over tin roofs, like criminals with tap shoes... .::Hi, there im Teb, Tebby or Tebasile :3::.
Im reading a bit now and then, and i have gotten fairly good reading speed, and i dont read as much as i used to.
And im a big fan of fantasy, and working on the slim collection of ScFi the library harbors. Im working on reading some of the classics, but not to successful at that. Im not that a picky reader, so i pick up books and tips here and there, i always have a book (or ten) going. :3
Some favorites are Robin Hobb, Ray Bradbury, H.P Lovecraft, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Koontz, King, C.S Lewis, Clive Barker, Val McDermid, Dennis Lehane, John Ajvide Lindqvist, Ursula LeGuin, Douglas Coupland and many many more :3

Hi! I'm Kitty! I don't really have a favorite author or book. I like sci-fi/fantasy (like Moon Called by Patricia Briggs), romantic comedy (like Love Overboard by Janet Evanovich), and many other stuff. I'll read just about anything. Oh, I'm also a big fan of Maximum Ride by James Patterson. blaugh

Hey everyone. My name is jadefishy. Just call me jade or xin (short for my full name xin-yi). I don't have favorites because there are too many books for me to choose from. Of the books I read recently for class, I liked Collin's The Moonstone, Bronte's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Toni Morrison' Paradise, and Junot Diaz's The Brief Wonderful Life of Oscar Wao.

Hello. I'm Yomiko Readman.
I designed my avatar after the character from Read or Die. When I first saw it I was shocked (and slightly distrubed) by how many things me and Yomiko had in common, from our favorite song (ode to joy) to our "habit" of buying books. we even have the same hair color and style, and adjust our glasses the same way.
I love reading. I have a never-ending stack of books on my night stand. no matter how many I read there are always more.

Phew, just in time. :3 (I'm going on holiday for two weeks starting tomorrow, and I was worried I wouldn't be accepted in time to make the mandatory first post in the first week), Anyway:
Hi, I'm slayer Igraine/Silvie, I'm 21 and I study Philosophy and Classics at the University of Bristol. So, uh, I read a lot of classics. And Philosophy books. So, obviously I read a lot of classical literature and a lot of philosophical literature. I'm also a fan of Steampunk, and classics in general (as oppose to the Graeco-Roman classics which I study), I'm especially partial to French Plays and Russian novels & short stories.

Hi My name is Meghan(Meg). I live in the desert part of Southern California. I love mostly fantasy books, but very often read almost every other genre. I'm a fan of history books, serial killers, and supernatural phenomenon for my non-fiction reads. I believe my favorite series is the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell k. Hamilton.
