*Raz looks at her with a smile on his face, odd usually for Aielmen to smile so often he thought. But I am no longer Aiel and I must remember that. He then starts to laugh at them, then he catches himself.*

"It was very hard, getting through that water, it cost me a day or two I think to get across it. Hey, can I put my arms down now? I am getting very uncomfortable like this."

*He looks at Hawk and realizes what was just said. He remembers hearing that threat before also seeing it happen to those who went to far.*

"Alright, so you are so deep in concentration that you can't even see that I mean no disrespect, or the fact that I was laughing at myself. You won't last long, you know. Everyone needs to laugh and be merry. Now, I apologize for I may have offended you. I wish to help and also wish to be trained as a warder. Can I help or do I have to go find this fellow named Wolf?"

Mercury held back a quiet sigh. Men. And yet, she could understand about both of them. Raz was an Aielman away from home and most likely among strangers; he probably misunderstood Hawk's intentions. But that last gibe about the concentration was a little uncalled for. As for Hawk, she saw the anger in his eyes, but he was just doing his job was all. Besides, there was a time to be happy and laugh, but the Warders had been taught clear distinctions of which situations called for which types of action.

"You can put your arms down if you like Raz. You can stay; I doubt the party Wolf is with would give you any warmer a welcome; they might even give you a less polite one. We wouldn't mind the extra help, but as for becoming a Warder, you'll have to ask Hawk. Excuse me a minute, I need to check on the others. Why don't you and Hawk stay here and discuss the Warder training while I fetch the others?"

She quickly made her way out of earshot about 15 paces away before slowing to a easy pace and moving through the foliage carefully, so as not to disturb anything. She could make out the mercenaries standing by the horses and waiting for them. She intended to take her time getting there and back.

Neither Hawk or Raz will say half of what they want to say; and the half they do say will be kept in restraint as long as I'm around. With me gone and out of earshot, they can argue out their differences as much as they like-and take care of this Warder training decision also. And we don't lose time later since I'll get the horses now. I hope they resolve their dispute, whatever it happens to be. With this last thought, Mercury continued at her easy pace back towards the mercenaries.

"oh...hmm.... well i guess i'm in the mood for some silverpike and some plum wine, and..i guess...ya, some corn soup would be good. theres this great place in Tear that makes a mean silverpike fillet made with this weird fruit that the traders bring in from across the Waste, its called a lemon." she fumbles over the strange word, wondering what it tastes like. "well they squeeze the juice out of the fruit and onto the fish. its served with apple brandy but you can ask for plum wine. also they have this dessert, its another strange fruit called a watermelon. i heard thats good too! maybe we should go there...but Alas, i have little money, and they are very expensive. but the corn soup there is cheaper!" she looks up at him hopefully.

before Alina walks through the gateway, she runs over to her closet and rummages in the bottom. she pulls out and old green cloak that is very plain. then she rushes over to the gateway, takes one last look around her room, and steps through. as she steps through she takes off her Great Serpent ring and puts it in her belt pouch. "Ok so where abouts is this place that we're looking fore?" Dupre asks her. "well, since i dont exactly know where we are, i can't really give good directions. but the name of the place is 'The Dancing Fish' its sign has a silver fish on it standing up on its back fins dancing, with a person sitting crosslegged on the ground playing a flute next to it. its an inn, and the innkeeper knows me, though that dosn't mean she will lower her prices any, but it does mean that she will give us quick service. and i know she will be serving the silverpike becuase it is their most popular meal. Also they have a menu sort of thing where you can pick from three different meals. all fish of course. but they always make it." she looks around nervously and pulls her cloak tighter around her so the 7 bands on the hem of her skirt do not show. "why do you only remember this place in all of tear?" she asks wonderingly

*He looks at Hawk with surprise on his face and does not bother to hide it. He looks towards Mercury as she walks away. Then looks back at him and then laughs but stops and looks somewhat apologetically at him.*

"Sorry, I'll try to keep my humor contained. Wait, what is this ,wolfkin, you speak of? Well, that is of no consequence right now, what has happenned so far in you hunt?"

Clarissa leaves her study and walks through the halls. She looks very bored.
