Kim: 25/50
Mob: 0 -16 damage
Kim rolled her eyes and swung her whip around in one final series of fast flourishes knocking away the last three scorpions. Not surprisingly she took another lovely hit but in the end it was her standing in place and the scorpions curled up in rather unlovely poses.
She pushed back her hair, wrapped the whip back around her hips and struck a pose of victory as Chinthliss formed back into a belt, his unsummoned form. She then looked back to see what was going on with anyone else around her, not wanting to leave someone who may need help.
"Is everyone here good?"

There had been a moment of puzzled concern as the door had been kicked in on it's hinges and Soleil had stared rather wide eyed between the bearded presenter and the angry, somewhat terrifying man that was glowering at him. And then, before she had a chance to really figure out what was going on, the floor was gone, and Sol was scrambling to grab a hold of Luna, only to lose her in the fall.
Hitting the sand didn't hurt as bad as she was expecting. Startling, yes, but not painful. Even so, she was brushing off the rear of her leggings as she got to her feet, a little unsteady in her heels on the hot sand.
<Ready yourself, they come.>
She didn't have time to inquire on what he meant by that cryptic remark before the sand began to ripple and move around her feet. "s**t."

EVENT: ANYONE AT TENTS
One of the charred bodies began to squirm, a weird, disjointed motion at first. For a horrific, long moment, it seemed like the body, missing one arm and half its torso, stood straight up and twisted its mutilated head to turn right towards Tobin-
-And then hundreds of centipede larvae burst from the reanimated corpse, writhing down its face, chewing out of charred flakes of skin. They were no bigger than three inches each, oddly translucent, slimy white in colour, soft, as they fell into the sand.
The rest of the body collapsed like an overripe fruit, a mass of white larvae scattered all directions, some of them right towards the Hunters inside. There were still two more charred bodies inside the only working tent.

Right. Help the others! All of her childlike friends seemed to be taking care of themselves so blue eyes skimmed the battlefield to find those who were not doing such a thing. They landed immediately on Dinah, who seemed to be trying to pick a centipede up, and her twin whose expression was encouraging. "You've gotta be..." Swearing in a very un-childlike fashion her charge attack burst out of her as her hand blurred, several of the centipedes around the twins exploding as the brown-skinned girl bore down on them. "You've got to be out of your minds! Kill them!" She pointed at the five critters that remained, her own energy spent, cupping her hand against her leg where an attack had gotten through her shield. It caught everyone, including Ever by surprise, as one of the centipedes, notably a couple feet larger than the ones he had taken out, coiled out from the sand as its front pair of ridiculously large pincers clamped down on his leg.
It shouldn't have been possible, but he was bleeding, and the wound was festering into a discolored dark colour almost immediately where contact had been made. It didn't look good. and be blue Needs 10 HP heals from himself/ anyone else to recover from damage! The festering + discolouration, if he is not bitten again, will heal in 2 IC weeks.

Kim having dispatched the scorpions now looked about, shrugging a little but heading away from the tent area, or what little of it she could see, rather liking the idea of looking over the sands. She glanced back over her shoulder again not sure what if anything may be needed from her.

They were larger now, and the centipede that attacked Kimberly much more vicious than the others had been. It didn't bite, it simply coiled around her, each of its hundred pointed, barbed legs tinted in poison.
Hunters were immune to poison, for the most part -
- But not to all of it. Immediately, her body atrophied, paralyzed, twitching, writhing in slow pain, as the insect began to drag her away, coiled around her legs, deeper, deeper into the sands below. Steal Kimberly needs assistance! 10 HP must be done to the centipede mob to free her!

Her weapon in her hands, Soleil hesitated for only a moment before she swing the scythe like a club, not entirely sure yet how to effectively use it. All the same, she managed to slice down two of he four disgusting things that were circling around her.
The other two, taking advantage of their fallen brethren, moved in from either side as she gave a delighted whoop, snapping at her ankles with sharp, paincul pincers.

While shuffling around, Aiden would step into something very, very solid. Just a bit of its carapace peeked out from the sand, a thick, glossy black shell, unmoving. It seemed like something had shed it, and upon closer examination, the carapace was just a segment-
- A segment who's single hollowed out leg sprawled against the sand was larger than he was.

"Right?" If she had had her mask off, she'd have stick her tongue out as a sign of disgust but she dared not around here. Never know what anyone might do here... "S'not like we have to wear the clothes their guts decided to just coat us in or anythin'. Gonna be a stupid-a** long line back at the washers after this is done." "Eh, they got a bed and that's about it. So... Yeah, prison cell sounds more right than a room." The rooms were practically cement and nothing more. Which sucked... "Name's Sonja; Sonja Norwood, if you wanted the fancy full-name." She managed to find herself a couple more clothes before turning herself towards the other for her full-attention.

"Yeah, we should help them," he agreed quickly. Any excuse to try Neva out again. That was fun. And, well, helping people not get devoured by monster insects was good too, probably. "Oh, I'm Chase." "So," Chase finally added as he followed Sherry through the sand, observing from afar as the centipedes continued their attack on nearby hunters, "What are these things?" HP: 25/40

With a shriek, half startled and half in pain, Soleil brought th eblade of the scythe around in what had to be the most awkward looking baton styled swing imaginable. It was, however effective, and both heads were lopped off the offending bugs to roll for a moment against the sand before both disgusting bodies disappeared. <******** DISGUSTING!" She bellowed, backing away from the rising wisps of darkness, before jerking her head up suddenly to scan the chaotic jumble of bodies still fighting for their lives. "Luna! Where the ******** are you?!" HP: 20 DMG: 11 CHG: 3/3 MOBS: -1

Nash Flynn ( Y1 Sun trainee)
Nash did not appreciate being in the desert.
He did sort of like the centipedes, though.
"Is this Dean's fault? This feels like it's Dean's fault."Merric Cassel ( Y1 Life trainee )
He should have known that something terrible was going to happen.
Inevitably, no matter what, terrible things happened. And not only that, but terrible things often happened at the most inconvenient of times, like when Merric had been about to ask Lysander where he could get his own personal assistant, or whether or not he could request a new scenario to be in.
This was not one of them.
Merric staggered to his feet, wincing, annoyed, and trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The weapon in his hands felt real enough, but the voice in his head was nothing more than a few subdued sounds that may or may not have been words.
"Couldn't they have given me something better?" he muttered.
There were bugs, too. Large ones.
Merric did not like bugs.October Flynn ( Y1 Mist trainee )
October was, unfortunately, forced to do work, which he did not appreciate in the slightest. Nap time had almost been within his grasp, and now he was being forced into actually using his damned sword, because there were bug things and this was not like Fantasy Life, he couldn't just stab them and get happy prizes.
He sighed.
Loudly.

Before Abbi could get another response, she would feel a pain against her ankle, as something stung her, just briefly. The small, slinking shape of a centipede, barely a foot long, and shape tinier, thinner and brown, scurried away from her half under the sand. The sting oddly did hurt, worse than any bug bite she ever experienced, but instead of discolouring, her skin simply was heavily swollen where the contact had been.
All things considered, it could have always been worse. And yet-
- And yet, when she turned to look at Bradley, all she could see, and all she could see from those around her, were charred, blackened faces, white centipede larvae dripping out from their eyes, their mouths, their ears. AyeAvast She can still hear people okay!
