Mairi shrugged. No idea. I don't remember ever getting a new pair of shoes, Mairi said shyly. She exhaled softly, her eyes half closing in thought as she could feel the energy flowing through her body freely.

Of course, Mairi heard the worker say thoughtfully. She saw the metal plate he got out before she followed his directions to remove her sandal. "What size is my foot?Mairi said shyly. "Your foot is... a six and a half, fairly average," he deadpanned. I'm anything but average, Mairi quipped, half joking yet somewhat insulted at the same time.
