The young boy decided to take a break from games as he clutched his three prizes to his chest. He snickered under his breath; he bet Darrah would be so jealous. They were roommates, and Nasrin would proudly display his new toys on his dresser. He wondered how many Darrah had gotten by now. He looked around at the other tables with trinkets and candies on them. A colorful bag of jawbreakers caught his attention and he slowed to a stop. They looked yummy, and would last for like, ever! Maybe he'd even share one with Darrah. He pulled coins from his pocket and bought the bag of jawbreakers, popping one in his mouth immediately.
Topaz got over her surprised fairly quickly. It probably shouldn't have come as a shock since there were familiars all over the place, but it was her first time seeing a coatl. They had only recently been brought out from the Swirling Storms. She hoped it wasn't a lot pet!
Narra was examining it and about to reach out to pet it when he got a face full of plushie. She blinked in surprise. Narra's question did cause her to chuckle though. "Only at festivals, and even then it's not too common to get hit by a airborne plushie," she said through her chuckles. The coatl had shrank back a bit, equally surprised by the plushie, but got over their shock quickly and was reached away from Topaz to inspect it. Realizing it wasn't anything they could eat, they quickly lost interest and took off. They couldn't get to the candy anyway, and there were too many flying things in the area. They left behind a shiny rock in Topaz's bag though, something they'd picked up earlier before the smell of candy got their interest.
"At least there's nothing coming up in the immediate future, so there'll be time to recover from all the excitement of this month!"
(( Made an oops with the prize system! So we'll just say it was a surprise encounter with a coatl looking for treats XD And maybe they'll come back later on, we'll see how the dice feel. ))

Morginn was wondering if he should try his hand at another one of the game stalls set up when something cause his attention; the branching legs of a Dryad. He was always glad to see a Dryad, of course, but he wondered why that would have stopped him. Then he noticed the tail, one he couldn't instantly place of species of but that he knew was not anything a Daydream would have. It was the same color as the legs. Curious, he wiggled a bit closer.
Standing at a table of stones, admiring a very pretty pink one, was a Dryad with horns and wings! Morginn blinked in surprise. The fact of wings alone wouldn't be too unusual since Dryad/Fey hybrids were definitely a thing in Above, but these wings were very un-Fey like. Horns weren't found on any of the known Daydream races either.
Curiosity definitely peaked, the Fey drifted over to the table. "Hello," he said, having to tilt his head back a bit to view their face (he was barely under 5'!), then gave a friendly smile. "My name's Morginn! Awesome festival, isn't it? You here with anyone?"

Trixie nearly swallowed her tongue from her nervousness but seemed to be quite relieved that Caramel wasn't simply writing her off. "S-speed dating? What's that?" she asked, curious. "I-is that an activity feys do a lot? Will I need wings?"

Narra seemed relieved to hear that there didn't seem to be anything else scheduled. "That's wonderful news. I don't know how much more excitement I can take before the warmer months come in. But your being here makes things easier to handle, Topaz. Thank you." he said with a warm smile to his friend.

Meanwhile, Renge 's shipping senses kicked in and got the distinct feeling she should be somewhere else right now. She looked up from the wisp dancing from plushie to plushie and scanned her surroundings. And wouldn't you know it, she caught sight of another fey~ a cute, dark short fey who was talking to... Renge fluttered towards the hybrid as if mesmerized.
"Helloooooo~" she said, purposely drawing out the last syllable. "Don't you two look stunning~"
Eno felt a blush come across his face when she said she didn't have any plans other than to spend time with him. Nodding a bit he sat down with her, and soon he found himself not going after the brownies, but instead, reaching for her hands to hold them with a small, shy smile.
"T-t-that's good because I wanted... to... uhm... talk... about... something." He forced himself to look up at her, cheeks burning hotly as he hoped he didn't stumble through this too badly or... misread anything.
"We've... been through a lot together and with each other for a long time as... friends... I really... appreciate your friendship and you being that close... But..." He could feel the blush in his cheeks spreading over all of his face now as he tried to get out what he was trying to say.
"I was wondering if you... maybe... would like to... uhm... uh... take our... friendship... to the... next... level? Step... uhm... uh... I mean... I like you a lot and I think you like me a lot... I hope I'm not wrong in that I was just... hoping maybe we could... uhm..."
He looked down again and now even his ears were burning. "Maybe we could... uh... date? Each other... Go... steady I guess? I mean, I get if you don't want to and you only see me as a friend but... uhm... yeah..."
As he was speaking, the jackalope on his shoulder hopped down and brought a friend, and they both curled up under Eno's chair.

Caramel laughed "No, and I'm not sure if the sign up booth is still open, if not maybe you'd like to go out on a normal date sometime.." Carm said rubbing the back of his head "I'm Caramel if I didn't mention, Carm for short."
The noise of the room was so loud, it took a second for Raleka to even notice the Fey who had approached her. She squinted slightly as she gazed down at him, slipping the stone she had picked up into her pocket. The Fey, Morginn, he said, seemed friendly enough. "I'm Raleka," she responded softly. Then, she realized she was probably too quiet to be heard. "Raleka!" the hybrid repeated, flashing a bashful smile.
The student was just about to inform Morginn that no, she wasn't with anyone, when yet another Fey strutted up. Was she some kind of magnet for these guys tonight? Was it what she was wearing? The taller girl glanced down at her own clothing as the newcomer complimented the pair, and then her eyes grazed quickly over Morginn. Color flooded to her cheeks as she wondered if both of them were flirting with her. For someone who was invisible at university, she wasn't used to all of this attention.
"Uh, you too," Raleka managed to say.

Topaz smiled warmly. "Glad to know that I can help. I'm glad you're here too! Hunter's Jubilee is a good time to be with people you care about." Then, in an instant switch of topics, "Do you want to go look at some of the set-up they've got outside? It's a bit rowdier since there's more room for bigger game booths, but that's where most of the food stands are." She smiled encouragingly. "I found this hot drink stall that has this amazing cider, and a couple different themed drinks that looked good as well. We can make that our destination, and see if anything catches our interest along the way?"

Morginn was about to respond when another Fey walked up. He took a moment to admire their very attractive wings. Not many bright colors, but the patterns were quite stunning. He waggled his antennae in greeting. "Thanks! You should come see me again in warmer weather though, I'm not at my best all bundled up like this!"
He turned to grin at Raleka. "Sorry, I promise it's not a tag-team," he said with a cheery laugh. "I was just curious because you don't look like any Dryad I've ever met before. I assume that's why this lovely lady is here too," he said with a nod at Renge, then turned back to Raleka with a apologetic (slightly) shrug. "Fey-thing. You do have lovely coloring though. I was going to ask, if you had no one you were with, if you wanted to maybe join me in examining the festivities? I don't have anyone with me either, and festivals are so much better as a group!"

; D Also Huni wants me to pass on that replies might be slow, so we can keep back-and-forthing and assume Renge is there and listening.

Sprinkles, still on edge, began growling in earnest when the arrow hit Leto. Oh dear... Well at least it was a sign that Sprinkles was starting to get protective of Leto as well. That was good...he hoped.
"Sprinkles, behave," Jaden said in a voice far more firm than he ever used in conversation with another person. The spectrefox quieted a little, but his hackles were still up and his Geist-like tendrils flared about wildly. Jaden quickly scooped up the arrow for Leto so his friend could pick up Chani; he'd have attempted it himself, but she was clearly in a bad mood and probably didn't want anyone other than Leto (if even that) touching her at the moment.
"Let's go inside quickly before we get hit by something else," he urged, rushing towards the safety of the Academy building.
"How did I do what?" She blinked, then tilted her head to the side. She really should have expected him to just stuff the candies into his mouth, but she couldn't help but giggle anyway. It was such a strange thing to do! At least to her, anyway. She liked to eat them one at a time.
She twisted the bag shut again, and then stuffed it into her pocket. "Your gonna have enough plushiesh to fill a whole new bed." Sae quirked a brow at him, but happily took his hand. It was nice to have someone to go around the party with. "Maybe we could play the beanbag tossh?" She pointed with her... well, mostly free hand, over at the booth across the way, and then started off towards it.
Along the way she nearly stepped on an abandoned heart locket. Since no one seemed to be looking for it, she simply picked it up and then pulled it over her head. "Huh... I bet my mom would like shish..."

Nine above it felt like his arm was going to get ripped off or something. Of course, that was an overreaction, but Ganymede was sort of a drama king and he knew it. Mostly. Sometimes. On good days. "Yeah I heard about that too." He trailed off, trying not to look too disgruntled from the hand shaking. "I mostly just wanted to see if anything good was happening." He shrugged, then nearly JUMPED when the coatl suddenly attached itself to Shard.
He stared at the snake, considering it for a moment, but finally nodded. "Okay, sure...... You think those things eat flitterats...?" He liked the way it looked but... He'd never be able to own one if they ate flitterats. He already had like, three!

omg i love him so much sldkjsg if i need to post more frequently let me know! i tend to get rlly distracted @ u @ you're free to drag gany around/abandon him as you need!
She couldn't help the giggle that escaped her at his wide eyes, head tilting to the side with a tiny smile. Success! And his tail began to wag. The blush on her face returned harder than ever, eyes diverting to glance at children chasing familiars about. How innocent. When she was their age she never thought she'd be at this very festival, older, and with someone she found incredibly endearing. Someone who gave her roses. She squeezed them gently, careful not to damage the delicate stems before flicking her gaze back to him, her own tail wiggling behind her, causing her to sway.
Oh! Right, the game. She had completely forgotten during the moment of.... well, what just happened. What was that, anyway? She didn't have time to contemplate, instead blinking as her hand was secured and Conan led them through the crowd. She wiggled her hand to further curl around his, her free one carefully clutching her flowers as she trailed behind him, content.
When Conan spotted a game she wiggled her hand free, standing on the side and giving an appropriate laugh in response to his pun. She, herself, wasn't so great at these games, so seeing him ace it (even if he missed the first) was fun! She wasn't good at those kinds of games, even though she enjoyed them. A loud cheer erupted from her when he won the game, clapping as he began to choose his prize. Of course, he just had to pick the pretty locket, didn't he? Maybe she'd ask to borrow it la-
Suddenly, it was dangled before her, and Conan was saying.... something? She had lost her train of thought, hurriedly focusing on what her best friend was saying. Something about purple suiting her, and.... !
"Me?" She almost stammered, hands flying to her face in surprise. Her tail had frozen, eyes wider than they had been before as she stared at Conan. Her? His girlfriend? Really? A part of her hadn't considered that, maybe, he really did like her. Flirting was one thing, but... he wanted her as his partner, not just a friend he sometimes had moments with. Of course! Of course she wanted to be his girlfriend! Absolutely! Yes! Yes yes yes!
"Yes! Yes I- I'd love to! The girlfriend part, I mean. And the locket of course, but I accept both!" Aha, there went her rambling at such a pleasant moment. She lunged forward, wrapping her arms around his neck and snuggling into him for a tight hug, tail wagging so hard it shook them both. Her wing extended, accepting the locket and letting it dangle safely from it as she squeezed her fri- boyfriend.
It seemed the scene didn't go unnoticed, as a small Coatl spotted them. Maybe it was warmed by their new affection, or it just wanted the shiny locket, but whatever reason it was it curled around Cherubi's leg, which went completely unnoticed by the woman.
- From Conan!

Said what about him? Fakir wasn't sure what that meant, really, but he accepted the compliment all the same! Later he'd have to show the ring off to Jericho and Kindle, no doubt about it!
"No! I love this! I want this one! Thank you!" He wiggled it back on his ring finger, head shaking at the same time. He wanted the one [i}Eilwen picked, and besides, it was pink! He loved pink! When he looked up he noticed Eilwen get hit with a plushie, face scrunching into a frown. Who would dare? While she picked it up he began looking around, wings flaring in frustration. Who the hell did that? How dare the- What?
Something had curled around his leg, causing a rather undignified screech as he began hopping. His wings flapped along as he tried to figure out what the hell was happening when he heard a soft hiss.... Wait, was it one of those familiars that came with the new people? A.... Coat? Whatever it was called? Who named their familiars Coats?
"Wha.... what is this?" He reached down, gently lifting the delicate pink familiar to show Eilwen.

The tiny Imp was so relieved when Gadriel seemed to understand what they needed, tail briefly wiggling when their hand was touched. Of course, they hadn't expected the taller man to suggest getting sweets for them, trailing after the man was he lead them to a table. Okay. They could guard plushies just fine, really. When Gadriel vanished it had been okay for all of three seconds before the nervous hammering began. People. Everywhere. A lot less people than the last event, for sure, but the number was steadily growing. No, focus on the plushie. Focus on anything but the crowd slowly gathering around them as they crammed into games and booths an-
"Would you like a ring?"
Their head jerked up, snapped from their worries as an elderly Demon stood before them, holding out a small tray of wings. The Imp blinked back, not that the Demon saw, head raising and hands lifting to show empty hands.
"Oh, no, I don't have any money on me. Thank you." "It's free. I'm trying to get these to nice folks like yourself. Here, take one."
The tray was gestured to them, not allowing for anything but acceptance. Nimue flashed a nervous smile, glancing at the rings and leaning in their seat, a claw raising to tap their lip in thought. There was one ring that caught their eye, almost matching Gadriel's sweater. They plucked it up without thinking, smiling back at the elderly Demon's nod. The Demon wandered off, leaving Nimue alone once more. Now was the regret. Their hand opened, revealing the ring in their palm. Oh Nine! How were they going to give this to Gadriel? Why was that an idea they had, even?! What could they say? 'Here, have a completely platonic ring with hearts on them? Did I mention platonic despite the hearts? And tradition of giving jewelry to loved ones? Platonic?' Gadriel surely would be grossed out, even! They were friends! Not.... whatever this ring meant!
They hadn't really considered Gadriel had been able to see them, shoving the ring into their hoodie when the other returned with sweets. Play it cool. Don't mess this up. Their ears perked up at the arrival of brownies, tail wagging against their will as they accepted the napkin and sweet, a wide smile spreading across their face.
"Thank you." They squeaked as they began to shift the napkin, doing their best to not just shove the brownie right into their face. "I really like.... chocolate. And c-caramel. What about you? What do you like the most?" The lift of their tone suggested Nimue was up to no good, and they weren't. Maybe next time they could make Gadriel's favorite sweet as a thank you.
- Might be for Gadriel!

Oh. So, they were interested in her strange amalgamation of leaves and lamella. Raleka definitely couldn't deny that she was used to it. Her blush deepened as she thought that, perhaps, she might have preferred being hit on. But the Fey continued speaking, preventing her from disclosing the rehearsed explanation of her hybrid state. Morginn allowed her no time to be sour; he was too busy being friendly. It was fine by her - the young woman didn't exactly enjoy disclosing her unique bloodline.
Raleka mumbled a thanks to his compliment, and then considered his proposal. After all, it couldn't hurt to make a friend, even if it was one who was interested in her for her tail. The thought caused her to bring her tail in closer, defensively. Her fingers traced over the dulled spikes at the tip of it as she responded to the Fey.
"Sure. I just got here." She gave a small shrug. "Have you seen anything good so far?"
