Bertrand was so lucky Brady came to the rescue. He would have died otherwise.

The archer had gotten too far away for him now, so all he could do was open the away for the knights so that they could have a shot at the runner.
Bertrand moves to space 139 and prepares an attack.

Bertrand attacks the revenant and deals 9 + 8 - 0 = 17 damage, defeating it!
The way had been opened up. The others could continue moving forward now.

Kira sighs angrily. She felt her silent rage boiling up in her once more. The archer was getting further away and the path was still blocked. It was beginning to look like this situation was going to require an extended stretch behind enemy lines to retrieve the gifts and there was still that mage to worry about. If she was going to go, she needed to be prepared. Lilith gallops her horse over to space 136 and visits the shop there. She sells her red gem to the vendor and buys a Vulnerary. She then uses canto to move to 123 (or 149 if knight is one of the classes allowed to move out the back.)
((Correct me if I am wrong, but the Revenant's have the cultivate skill so shouldn't Lilith have gotten 30 experience when she defeated one last turn? Also, doesn't that bonus apply to all attacks so Bertrand and Lilith should have gotten 10 experience on their turn before last for attacking Revenants and Bertrand another 10exp from last turn. This would put Lilith at level 3 and Bertrand at 70 exp))
Ganon bops on over to 124 to play for Lilith. With a little luck she could still head that archer off.

With Ganon's inspiring song Lilith attempts to gallop forward but her horse gets bogged down in the snow, only reaching space 124. Though her face remained calm, the anger was visible in her mismatched eyes. "I'm sorry, I will get him soon. I am ready now." Lilith takes out the Strength Tonic she had received as a gift and drinks it, causing her strength to surge. "I will end him."
All of the sudden Jaren clenches his stomach. A loud gurgling sound could be heard from miles away. With an uncomfortable waddle he rushes to the nearest bathroom as fast as he can. "Oh my. It sounds like he's going to be in there for a while. Team Holly will need a fifth member and a healer." Sure, Aruna was qualified to take the field, buuuuuuut snakes don't do well in the cold weather for very long. She'd have to bundle up like a wiggling sleeping bag out there and that's so not her style. Ganon was so brave for volunteering. He'll get extra warm snuggles when this event ends.
"Evelyn sweetie, would you be a dear and help out those poor souls on Team Holly?" After a yes, the nagini shoves two presents and a kneader into the cleric's hands then suddenly a bishop warps her on the field.
Evelyn will start in the same spot as Jaran aka space 98 and can move now. Her turn will be after Ganon's/whoever he plays for.

Last minute replacements were always some way to inject some excitement into the game, at least that's what she was told before Aruna had convinced her onto the field. Somehow she just could say no to that smile, rest her heart. Still, some friendly competition never exactly hurt anyone and who could say no to delivering gifts to the deserving? Presents were slung over her shoulder before giving a thumbs up to her recruiter.
"Sorry Blossom, I may not really know anyone here, but we're still going to win!" She called out to her friend, taking her position once she had gotten readjusted after the rather sudden warping. "...Well, probably." Thankfully, nobody (probably) heard that last part.
That being said, there wasn't much for her to do with the distance between her and the rest of her allies, even if she was eyeballing a certain cavalier who might want to introduce a lance to her face. She made her way up to way up to Space 111 and hunkers down with Seth, hoping he might do something about their mutual "friend" come his action. Still, even then you have work to do. Turning to Rathy, she prepared a quick healing.
It had certainly been awhile since her last bit of field work, but thankfully the cleric still had it in her as her efforts were enough to completely patch up Ol' Rathy.
