Elidae chooses B.4--->B.6 8.5 ✦sleuthsparks✦ Gaze scanning the crowd, Elidae sought out the owner of the voice calling her name- as well as another name, Sarcel. Lorata! The gorgeous seadweller! She glanced up at the blueblood. Did they know each other? Lorata sure did know a lot of amazing trolls. While she wanted to bounce up to the purpleblood and embrace her, they were in an urgent rush to get out of the gaseous room. The blueblood's comment made her stumble. Tealblood?! "Hemera!" Elidae shouted, urging her to follow suit. While holding onto the older troll, Lorata on the other side, they made for the exit, hoping Mera decided to join. Then, somehow, someway, something felt off. In the midst of the chaos, Lorata disappeared.
"Wh-where's Lorata? Lorata!" Elidae called, but there was no answer. No, only she continued to latch onto the blueblood. Oh no. She tried again. "L-Lorata?! Hemera?" Elidae's pace seemed to become sluggish, her vision swirling in a haze. Why was she suddenly so drowsy? Was that heavy noise her breathing? Trying to force herself back into gear, Elidae persevered and continued to match the speed of the speedy blueblood the best she could. Abruptly, she came to a halt. Were those... noises? Standing stiff and attempting to focus on making use of her sponge clots, she could make out the distant noises from behind the walls. Peculiar! However, she perked up at a stranger's voice speaking her name.
"Ah! That's it! My name is Elidae!" She brightened, flashing a smile. So Sarcel was her name. "It's lovely to meet you, Sarcel! I sort of wish it wasn't under these circumstances." A strange pang in Elidae's chest denoted her strong appreciation for her kindliness within their current situation.
After the other girl found the opening behind the curtain, Elidae peered around Sarcel's frame into the menacing blackness leading to the unknown. She swallowed hard. What could be lurking down in that passageway? Erilyn Awassi? Monsters? Scawy rainbowdrinkers? Or... or perhaps the possibility of an exit.
"I'm okay. C-Could be a way out, at least?" Gripping Sarcel's hand tighter, Elidae contemplated scurrying away, her eyes flickering to the staircase. Not this again. No. No. Too many times this night she was put in the position of facing this dreadful terror. One would think she would be over it by now, able to conquer the fear. Alas. Last time, she had Kursha to hold onto, and everything turned out... okay. He was nowhere to be found now. This time...? She looked up to Sarcel, finally noting her cherubic face and blue tinted cheeks, adorning a smile. With a firm squeeze of her hand and the grip on the gifted knife strengthening, Elidae nodded her head, matching her grin. She had to be optimistic here. Have a little faith.
"Okay! Let's go!" And they plunged into the darkness.

Tierte nodded at Eostre. "I....was just hiding when...this all happened", She said panic still crossing her face. "We need to get out of here soon though!" The little redblood held her blanket to her face, covering her nose and mouth as Eostre said. Boy was she glad she had brought it along, even if she still felt the gases taking effect.
Being pulled into the awkward hug, Tierte hugged her back for the first time in her life. She wasn't always the biggest fan of her moirail but, if there was a chance this might be the last time she saw her Tierte thought she at least deserved a hug. Tierte only pulled away when she heard a motherly growl from her lusus. Looking in the direction Lynxmom was Tierte noticed the little orangeblood she had been looking for next to her very loud lusus. It seemed not everyone could be as calm and collected as Lynxmom.
Waving Nahori over Tierte went to comfort Nahori. The redblood didn't blame her, she would have liked nothing more than to be back in her cave right now. It wasn't till she put a reassuring hand on Nahori's shoulder that she realized how brave she was being. Could this be the start of a new chapter for the little redblood?
"Stick with me Nahori...and we'll get out of here!" she said looking around for possible exits. Those windows looked like perfect exits but, she'd have to check them out more. Tierte couldn't help but, wonder if that purpleblood had found a safe exit out of here.

Eostre chooses path B.1]Eostre watched Tamiya leave, and a strange feeling came over her. She was feeling dizzy and sleepy, probably the effects of the gas. That means it's likely not lethal... Still, as Tierte left, she rubbed her eyes and saw a blueblood standing by the curtains looking a bit... dazed. He must have turned off the gas. She walked over, grabbed his hand gently and pulled him along, meeting back up with Nahori and Tierte closer to the exit. "Come on, let's get out of the rumpus block," she said simply, leading her own herd of children to relative safety. The front door was still obviously locked, like she thought. But upstairs, there were voices. Perhaps Gerard? Or Comedi, if he decided to go to the second floor of the hive. They would likely know a good way out of here . "I'm going to go ahead and go upstairs. Tierte..."She looked the small redblood in the face "See if you can find a way out down here."Eostre glanced at the window, and then to the stairs. She looked at the little orangeblood, who she thought she recognized from somewhere...? Maybe Old Hemisect. And the blueblood she didn't know, but she always had a soft spot for bluebloods like herself. She wasn't going to let anyone be upstairs without her! She put on her knuckle dusters and charged up the stairs, ready to punch some people and maybe get something good done. 7 ✦sleuthsparks✦saihen eostre herds the children quickly so we can move on

Hazmas only loses 2 sleuthsparkles from choosing A3 Adamaz blinked. Wow, it was almost like they didn't want to fight each other and put aside their differences. Excellent. Maybe grabbing Chiara's hand wasn't a bad decision. " Let's grab some more kids and get outta here." Adamaz went to some of the trolls who were near the walls. He saw a greenblood and a blueblood who had just finished 'feeling up the walls' and immediately recognized Nahori from the nutrition block - she wasn't looking so good, clutching her cape and reaaaaally looking like she wanted to go home. Adamaz could oblige her. And all of them were looking drowsy. " Don't fall asleep!" He shouted at them. " I know a way outta here! Let's go home!" And Adamaz began leading the way, carefully and cautiously. He spotted a window, and Papa Roach hissed in triumph. He skittered down and picked up a chair, ready to fling it through- " Papa, wait! I saw cameras there earlier!" Adamaz shouted to his lusus. " It could be a trap." Adamaz looked around, and advanced towards the stairs, keen on any traps that could be lying in wait.

Tigwyn Ioyana Tigwyn hung back. The kids were finally filtering out of the room - helping each other, grabbing hands, buddying up. Touching. He sniffed and shook his head, clearing his mind for another shot. Those windows had to go. He waited before the bulk of the other partygoers had left and with a shrill peal his telekinesis laid waste to the windows of the rumpus block. Fresh air. He ripped the outside camera off of its base and tossed it aside. With a shaky hand, Tigwyn lit up another cigarette and stalked cautiously after the rest of the group up the stairs.

Tealblood? Mera had heard an unfamiliar voice say that much. In the increasing haze, she sluggishly thought and thought.........oh. That must be her. Hemera couldn't recall seeing any other trolls with her blood color that night. More importantly...
"Elidae?" That voice...her name. "Elidae!" Even with an increasingly stumbling gait, Mera had to run. For herself, and to find the other girl! She started screaming the name over and over again, words starting to slur as she lost oxygen. Hemera continued rushing after the yellowblood, as well as her companions.
She had a hard time getting to them until they ran into some darkness. She couldn't lose them, couldn't be left behind! "Please don't go without me!"
The tealblood followed the other girls into the secret passage, and didn't expect it to be so dark. Maybe this...was not such a good idea. She couldn't see a single thing, and who knew what could be in here? Awassi's hive could be full of nasty surprises. "Elidae!" She was panicking again, with Pagoni trying to push her along. The lusus didn't care about the other trolls right now; he needed to get his baby out. She wasn't moving fast enough.Mera picks B.4, B.6 -> Walk forwards with your hands outSleuthsparks: 7 Melancholies Hello, have Little Miss Meltdown blackbird cake Near, far...wherever you are...

OPTION: B.6] Walk forwards with your hands out Once inside the dark secret pathway, the highblood was determined to find Awassi, though she couldn't do things recklessly. After all, she did threw some cookies and the little smell trap they had pulled made the child feel a bit worst. Eridia was tempted to investigate her surroundings, but that would get her sidetracked and there was a murderer to catch! She had to catch them first to rub it all over certain grupos of trolls on her growing hit list. Eridia chuckled evilly as she navigated through the dark, imagining her success over those idiots, magnificent. Her evil chuckles echoed a bit in the secret passway, which just made her want to do it more. The child remembered her father had the luminescent tube Hazmas gave her, yet she knew it wasn't even useful for this kind of situation. Plus, that would turn her into an easy target.

[Leeroi chooses path B.8]10 ~sleuthsparkles~"Psy? Psy!" Leeroi reached out in front of him, hands searching for his friend. In the darkness, he felt his hand graze across her fluffy hair. "There you are!" He cheered, clamping his hand down on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" He asked, incapable of checking for himself. He gripped her shoulder, trying to give her some comfort. "I'm gonna charge ahead, alright? Meet you on the bright side!" He tapped her with his fist, turning to run. And he ran fast. Recklessly, he charged forward, pushing aside any of the other trolls in his path. There were quite a few taking their time, too. Didn't they understand that they were short on time? Suddenly, he felt his face hit something hard, and he reeled back. "Get out of my way!" He yelled, moving to shove them aside. Only, in his shove, he realized he had ran into a wall. He laughed nervously to himself, thankful that no one could see that.

Selects: Path B4 --> B8 Sleuthsparks: 8/10 Kursha just barely cleared the pit, landing in an undignified sprawl. Picking himself up off the floor, he glanced around and clicked his tongue against his teeth. In his haste he had lost track of Schrad and the others. He needed to slow down, think, and approach the situation carefully. Considering that Awassi stood to hang, it seemed reasonable to assume that the greenblood would attempt to kill their would-be executioners first. Rushing into things head first might result in him losing it. Pausing for a moment to collect himself, Kursha surveyed his surroundings. As he did, he heard the muffled sound of voices. They came from his right, leading to... a wall. Made sense. Awassi had vanished seemingly into thin air. Learning all that he had about her hive, he did not find it hard to believe that she had secret passages in place. Withdrawing the combat knife from his boot, Kursha approached the wall, feeling for cracks in the surface. A moment later, the wall swung open and he found himself facing a familiar seadweller before the world became swallowed up in darkness. “So... I take it that this party was not some elaborate scheme to weed out problems in the ranks?” he asked, as his eyes adjusted. While still too dark for him to make out much, he could see the vague silhouette of the empress and the length of the passage. Brushing past Regina, he continued down the corridor at a brisk pace, though not quite at a run, away from the central hivestem. “Watch my back?” he said to the seadweller with a grin.

Ҕᾁʐɱᾁʂ Ҏӫςɧῒɱ xxxxCentral Hivestem || Rumpus Block Despite his and Machim's best efforts, the gas seemed to swirl around them, making both the youngster and his lusus groggy. Machim's wing beats slowed, her wings drooping as she paused to rub her face tiredly. Hazmas rubbed his face on the back of his sleeve. Even the amazing psonic feats of Ioyana weren't enough to keep the drowsiness away.
"Gotta.. find that switch," he mumbled behind his cravat, when something gave under his hand. There was a click and the hiss of gas stopped. The green blood grinned and rubbed his eyes. He could've fallen asleep standing right there if... "Don't fall asleep!"
Hazmas recognized that voice. It was the orange blood he'd copied the clues from! Hamzas looked up and shook himself. The amount of alarm in the other troll's voice provided just enough motivation to keep the youngster from dozing off.
"Got it!" he called, waving at the orange blood. "I'll be right.. there." His voice drifted off when another sound caught his ears. It sounded like scraping, shuffling, and... voices? "Hey, can you hear that?" he said to his neighbor, putting a spongeclot to the wall. "Sounds like someone's in there! Could be Awassi... C'mon!"
Invigorated, the green-blood papped his lusus awake and followed the sounds of the muffled scuffling. He hugged the walls, making sure to keep within range of the sounds, and gave a startled yelp when the wall gave way under his hands. Suddenly all was black and the wall was behind him.
"Rudy trap doors!" he shouted and stopped when he heard Machim bellow from behind the wall, her hands pounding on its surface. 'HAZMAS! HAZMAS WHERE ARE YOU?!'
He could feel dust falling onto his face, not a good sign when you're next to a wall that's really a secret passage. "Machim! I'm okay! Stop pounding or you'll make the wall fall on me!"
The pounding stopped, but the terrible cries of his lusus continued.
"Don't worry Ma, I'll be safe!" he called through the wall, figuring that if the pounding didn't open it, she wasn't coming in. "You see if you can get outside and I'll meet you there."
The bellowing lowered to a more reasonable level, barely audible through the wall. 'You be careful in there Hazmas.'
Hazmas smiled. "I will be! See you when I get out!"
As much as he should've been panicking, the young greenblood could only feel the thrill of adventure coming on. This hive had more twists, turns and secret mechanism than he'd ever seen - and he wanted to see more! Hazmas looked around, trying to gauge any sort of light that would be there, but saw only inky blackness.
"Tch, no good having a secret passage if you can't see," he muttered and began feeling about the tunnel. For a moment, he wished he'd had the glowstick Eridia had nicked from him - not that it would do any good. She had it and there was no way she'd share it with him. The only way he was going to find some light is if he found a switch. After all, Awassi'd had a switch for the gas and other secret passage, why not have one for the lights as well?
As he felt around for buttons, levers, anything he could push or pull really, the young greenblood drew near to a cacophony of voices, probably the ones he heard behind the wall! Hazmas pushed forward eagerly, hands fingering the walls and floor until he found something odd and grabbed it. Who knew that it might've been someone's leg?Path of the Sleuth A.4 --> B. 7 ✦sleuthsparks✦5 ✦8✦ ANYONE WHO WANTS TO KICK HAZMAS IN THE FACE FOR GRABBING THEIR LEG! XD

Azrael hadn't even had the time to thank Hazmas for the help when the two were split apart. He would make it a point to reunite with the greenblood and thank him somehow for the assistance, he might not have found the switch as fast without him. He was too dazed and groggy to recognize that he was being dragged away from the wall by the pretty blueblood from the table he'd met Elidae at. He shook his head to try and clear the fog and looked at the blueblood. Where was Hazmas now? Had he got away? It was when he'd heard Machim bellowing loudly that he raelized that Hazmas was still by the curtains. The young blueblood peaked back into the rumpusblock. No sign of the greenblood that helped him find the switch, and his lusus was pounding on the wall. Did he find the secret passage?
Azrael peaked back at the trolls that he'd been with briefly. "Best of luck to you!" he shouted before running towards the wall that Hazmas lusus was at. He slowed down as to not startle the freaked out creature. When she finally calmed down he tentatively approached. He liked hazmas, the last thing he wanted was to start a fight with his lusus. When he was able to squeeze past machim and to the wall, he began a search until the wall opened and he fell right in. The passage closed behind him and -- boy was it dark.
"Hazmas?" The young blueblood called out. It was not in him to be cautious at this point, but there had to be something to these tunnels unless Awassi had some other light source to follow, there had to be something else here. Maybe there were other clever mechanics to this thing. He began to feel the familiar surge of excitement he'd felt adventuring busthind and at the beginning of his swamp adventure. He kind of figured that if Awassi was smart, they would cover their asses with other tricks in the tunnel and he wanted to find those tricks. How could he not let his curiosity get the better of him? He found himself scouring the tunnels for whatever secrets they had while he searched for Hazmas. "Hazmas?!" he called out again.

Chiara Motekuxxxxx9/10 SparklesChiara ran with Adamaz to Hazmas. Oh he was not looking well. "You complete idiot!" Chiara hissed in the greenblood's ear. "Could you have chosen an any more foolish action? No! Just run right at the danger why don't you!" Truthfully Chiara admired it, but risking herself like that was out of the question. She had already faced death in the eyes standing up for Zindel today. Chiara fretted over her friend, helping Adamaz to get him to his feet, then lingering a little longer to glare at Hazmas. Adamaz and Hazmas ran off in diffrent directions. Chiara stood still a second, watching the adult psyconic troll be a badass. Opening the windows was a good idea, it would really help the situation. Chiara raced up the stairs. In her awe of watching the adult she was certinly lagging behind. Luckly for her Adamaz was also in the back of the large crowd fleeing up the stairs. Panting, Chiara reached her partner. "You cant pant leave me behind that pant easily." Chaira managed to weeze out as she finally made it up the steps. B.8]10 ✦sleuthsparks✦Striding determinedly through the darkness, sword out, Regina almost ran Kursha through as he suddenly stepped in through yet another hidden door. "Hey - watch it! Bladed weapons out here, Vidari!" As the greenblood pushed past her, and she made a note of that, she gave his shoulder a slight tug down, bringing the taller troll closer to her own level for a moment. "Discussion later - hunting now. Good job with the lights."Her fingers slid off the greenblood's shoulder as quickly as she had tugged him down, and the empress gave a neutral shrug in return to his second question. "I figured that was a given." Shooting a glance behind her, she sheathed her sabre to avoid any friendly-stabs and set off right behind Kursha, hand still resting on the hilt.

Psykgi felt Lee's hand on her – at least, she assumed it was his hand, because it came with his voice. She put her hand on his, briefly. ”I'm all right.” she said. The comfort of his hand was... welcome. Unnecessary, but welcome. Ah, of course, he would charge on ahead. ”Right behind you, Leeroi.” she called after him, ”I'll see you there!” Be careful she implored quietly, following at a slower pace, And good luck

PATH B.4 > B.5 8 sleuthsparks! The moment he stepped over the other kids rushing to the exit, Zindel knew he'd be at least somewhat safe from the fumes slithering through the house like poison. He felt his heart-rate accelerate and his body felt almost weightless as he stumbled to a stop, looking around nervously before hearing a few voices nearby. The redblood squinted, glancing around before finally and realizing-- Trolls? Here? Why would there be trolls speaking in this area? Had they been there before they'd all arrived? They had quite literally just entered it, no reason for there to be any other voices than their own-- Oops. The moment he tried to investigate and press his ear to see what was going on, the redblood fell through a space on the wall, stumbling into a completely dark secret passageway filled with quite a few other surprised trolls. He practically gaped at the amount of trolls in the area before pulling back and waiting for the right moment to move around, hands fumbling, trying to find an exit. Zindel pushed and pulled frantically, eyes panicked and swallowing hard, nervous, scared. He wasn't about to stay in a place with so many trolls willing to shove and rush to get somewhere safe.
